They provided a quote of 1050 to ship…
They provided a quote of 1050 to ship my car from California to Indiana. I signed the contract on April 27th to ship my car around May 5th. I was told that they will not charge my CC on file and I will pay 250 at the pick up time and remaining 800 will be paid at the drop off. They then charged my card on April 30th for 260.
After that they had no communication. When I contacted them around May 2nd for a conformation of pickup time, they kept telling me, working on it. May 5th came and gone. On May 6th, I asked them when will they ship the car, they started to make excuses that no drivers available and so on. When I asked them to cancle my contract, they told me in 30 min, that they have a driver who can pick up in 2 days but it would cost me 2200. That is more than double of the original contract. I understand that the price can change a bit due to change in fuel prices, but more than doubled? When I asked them to refund my money, the guy got rude. They cancelled my contract but no response on refunding my money at all. After putting my review on the TrustPilot site, I got a call from the uwon carriers and they refunded the charge on my card.
however, they left a bid to carriers open for over 2000 for shipping from my origin to destination. Anyone else who tried after talking to me said, as there is a bid open, we are not able to submit a bid to carriers at a lower price.
Due to their last minute more than doubling my estimate and the open bid left by them, I could not find anyone to ship my car for a reasonable amount and timeframe, and I had to drive myself all 2200 miles.

We’re sorry the process did not meet your expectations, but we would like to clarify that the original quote provided was an estimated market rate based on carrier availability at the time. Unfortunately, in the auto transport industry, pricing can change quickly due to route demand, fuel costs, and driver availability, especially on long-distance shipments like California to Indiana.
When no carrier accepted the initial rate, we presented the updated market price before moving forward so you could decide whether to proceed or cancel. We understand the increase was frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay in communication.
Regarding the deposit, refunds are processed according to company policy, and our team did not intend to be disrespectful or misleading at any point. We value every customer and appreciate the feedback as we continue working to improve our service and communication.
