Customer support was so kind and helped me with the issue and said that I was fine and it was no worries about it! They also helped me with other issues as well. The book that I had received from them also came in great condition. No complaints on my side!

My order was stated as having damage. The book was in great condition. They will probably still sell and collect a payment. They are not a reputable company and I would discourage doing business with them as they defraud the public and obtain books.
I returned a textbook over a month ago and received confirmation that it was received, yet I still have not received my $161.99 refund. Multiple emails and phone calls have gone unanswered.
Poor communication and failure to timely issue refunds raise serious concerns about this company’s reliability. I expected better customer service and accountability.
My selling order got canceled due to timing. I received a notice and was told to contact customer service with questions.
1. The customer service email listed in their email is invalid
2. I filled out a form for customer service and never heard back
3. I called customer service, received a voicemail, and then never heard back
All I want is to see if my items can be requoted rather than cancelled but no one will return my call to help me with that. Their books may be fine, but customer service has avoided me for over a week.

Valore was horrible. I had to return a book and contacted customer service to figure out what I needed to do. Customer service was not honest about the process. They violated their online policy and returning the book cost me twice as much as keeping it would have. I followed all the guidelines for a return and still had to pay additional out of pocket fees. I also emailed customer service after returning the book asking why I wasn't getting the refund the website said I would, and they refused to answer my question.
I have used Valore to sell old textbooks twice. The first time, I was mailed a check for the quoted amount. The second time, without publicizing any change, they removed the check payout option and instead replaced it with a third party vendor who charges fees for ACH/Venmo transfers. To avoid fees, you have to get your money back in the form of a gift card, which is inconvenient and should be much more clearly publicized as a change in policy. I asked for them instead to mail back my books, and they refused to do so. Be warned that in order to get the money they quote you straight into your bank account, you will have to pay a 6% fee. Your only other option is to accept a gift card, which is fine for some customers, but should be made clear given the change in policy.

In addition to wrapping them in several layers of cling wrap to ensure they would arrive safely, I also used packing material to make sure they wouldn't be damaged by being jostled during the shipping process. I signed up to be texted payment but never heard anything. Lo and behold, when I checked my email, I had received several emails stating that none of the books were suitable for return for water damage. BS!!! This company is a SCAM!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Ordered books on one order and got charged a delivery charge twice. Management then would not refund one delivery charge because THEIR system messed up. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Valore received two textbooks for my daughter and said both had water damage. She missed their email and they recycled the books. The books did not have water damage when they left my hands. She just lost out on almost $70, which she really needed as a struggling college student. We won't be using them ever again.

Please Do Not Rent or Buy books from this place, it is a complete scam and they waste your money. You have to pay them to return your books back plus they don’t give you any information on tracking or delivery!!!

SCAM - extra fees and charges don't give them your CC they'll charge you after returns even when the book is pristine. Contacting customer service about it was a disappointing experience - they blamed me for a return date on thanksgiving.

You have to be 100% sure you are taking the class because to return the books back is a nightmare. You cannot just return it at your own time because Valore has “windows” for you to return and its an incredible inconvenience if you don’t have the time. I bought 2 used books in September for my classes and turns out we didn’t need them so I decided to return them. I had to wait until October to get the shipping label because they don’t generate them at any time. I am out of $60 and I had the books already for 3 months still in the box untouched and unused. If you don’t have the time or patience to return the books you don’t need, be prepared to wait. Mark it in your calendar! Don’t get burned like me. I hate that Chegg partnered with Valore.

When I received it back the return sheet simply stated “missing pages.” Upon further inspection the “missing pages” were reference pages that were meant to be removed, and were never in the book when I first bought it. The packing job on the return shipping is what I would describe as haphazard at best. Extremely disappointing experience. It seems they won’t take anything that’s not in virtually new condition. Beware of this company.

The website states they will send you a check first class mail when you sell them your books! It’s been over two weeks and I haven’t gotten paid! This had been an awful experience! They continue to give me the run around! Do not use this website!

The website tricks you and makes it incredibly hard to access your order and tricky to return. I spent an hour navigating their sneaky site before I found my return label they want to screw students and charge you. Be mindful and don't let them fool you. The return button is hidden under a banner once you get to your order number

Valore was great. I purchased multiple textbooks that I subsequently no longer needed, their customer service specialist (Erin) was very responsive and helpful in making sure I received my return.
