The sandwiches, wraps and rolls are always yummy. I got the package with all of this and a salad. The salad wasn't great. A lil boring really, not much in it.

Imperfect
It went smoothly from the guests' perspective I suppose. After all, for every event, those who care the most are not the guests, but rather the hosts.
There were several things which irked me such as the fact that none of the red wine were served despite being placed right alongside all of the other drinks in the event's food preparation area, some minor items appearing in the final invoice which didn't appear in the quotes that we accepted (minor but shouldn't exist in principle), and how wine glasses were removed while we were iterating through the scope of the quote. The last one was in principle my fault for not picking that up, but as you can imagine it is quite hard to miss and it is not something you expect to be missing when both sides know that wine is being served. In the end we had to make do with paper cups, which is not a good look for wine.
All in all, it is a particularly imperfect experience for me, the host. Thankfully, the guests were enjoying themselves sufficiently in other aspects of the event to express any sort of dissatisfaction.

I’m pleased to hear the event ran smoothly from the guests’ perspective, that is always our primary goal. That said, I completely understand your frustration as the host when even small details don’t align with expectations.
To provide some additional clarity:
The red wine was available along with other options as supplied by the client; however, no guests requested red wine service during the event, which is why it was not actively poured by our team.
The wine glasses were removed from the order at the request of the original booker during the final scope revisions due to budget considerations. At no point would we ever recommend serving wine without appropriate glassware if it had been understood that none would otherwise be available.
Any adjustments that appeared on the final invoice were fully communicated to, and formally confirmed by, the original organizer prior to the event.
All correspondence and event changes were managed directly with the original booker via both email and phone. We always welcome any additional clarification prior to an event to ensure all parties are fully aligned. We take great pride in our service and care deeply about every detail of our events, for both guests and hosts, and we will certainly take this feedback on board as part of our continued commitment to improvement.
