Pretty easy to use and could get the job done. However, the AI quality is pretty bad, lags a lot and does not act according to the prompt. Best to use another service.
It’s pretty bad…
Out of all the Voice AI platforms i tried this was the worst one… the latency of the models is bad. Theres a 3-5 second pause after each turn. Also doesn’t appear to support to any model apart from gpt.
I was literally shocked when I started setting up my voice Agent in response to many YouTubers who recommend and advertise this platform. I don’t even know how they exist eiyybsuch level of reliability. Your draft agent doesn’t hold the prompt. You make one setting, but then when you switch to another setting, the first setting goes off. It is impossible to pick right Voices for specific language. The voice search results are a mess. Juggling between scribers and platforms just leaves horrible experience because Sistema doesn’t remember anything you choose. Even within the same page you keep working on the Agent, if you change something at the bottom of the page, whatever has been changed in the top of the page is gone. Unbelievable. I didn’t know that it exists nowadays. There is no button to save your work in the meantime so everything becomes fragile and live. H
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SUPPORT
If you have any issues with the systems when deployed to live expect to be waiting a week for anything to even be looked at properly. Its honestly quiet embarrassing as they claim to have all these flashy features but none of them reliably work and things break all the time and they try and hide bugs hoping you don't notice.
VAPI has cost us $50k in damages so far from downtime caused by bugs triggered by unnecesary UI changes because they felt like something needed to be pretty?
If you are a voice AI developer stay FAR away, they will take your money and give you unreliable systems, high latency, and non existent support.
In terms of support, honestly a toddler could be more helpful than their team.
Not impressed VAPI and we will no longer be using your systems :)
They charge you Hidden charges the pricing they have on there platform is miss leading its just for platform if you add LLM's it will cost High same goes with Twilio or another provider. and there avg cost is 0.17 to 0.50 depends on your setting done use they laterally are scamming Eleven labs is so better atleast don't charge Hidden Cost
Ich habe gerade meinen ersten Workflow erstellt. Die Stimme ändert sich, die Übergänge werden nicht erkannt. Zwischendurch ist das Gespräch verzerrt. Vielleicht klappt das auf Englisch ganz gut, aber auf Deutsch war es eine Katastrophe. An jedem Note musst du die gleichen Einstellungen wiederholen. Es lassen sich keine Loops machen. Sehr enttäuschent.

They will take your money. The system is glitchy and subpar. They are stolen over $1000 from me with a refund promised but have been waiting and asking for weeks.

The help bot makes out the human support will be great and they will normally get back to you within a few hours. Its been almost 2 days and still no reply from them. I guess I can only speak to a robot if I need any help.
They have features listed on the documentation but they did not work in testing like dtmf tones. If you try to modify a field in an assistant in the dashboard, and save it, like 50% of the time it won't save.
Amazing System that they are building. I had issues on a Saturday night, and received a phone call from one of the technicians Sahil and he helped me through my issue. What dedication. I saw some of the other reviews, and they seem to be related to billings, and stuff that could easily be spoken about. I just wanted to give a shout out to this guy for his passion and dedication to the project.
terrible customer service bot!! no support for UK to buy numbers so if from UK you will pay twice to make one call, they use lots of misleading terminology like import the number when really your just setting it up to work in VAPI. terrible service - GIVE UK NUMBERS
They provide no support to buy a UK number so you will end up paying twice to make 1 call if from the UK you have to import a number, then twillio will charge you as well as VAPI. Customer care bots are very bad!!! find a way not to use vapi if you can.
It's really frustrating that there is no way to remove or cancel your account. You have no control to remove your data or credit card information after entering them in the payment section. You cannot end or cancel your plan without going through their absolutely awful support, which is run by bots and not humans.
