Charging station does not work, I need to contact company to get this resolved and sent back, I think I received a used safe

Safe is made well with solid construction. After using for a month or so I can tell you that if it is truly an emergency you should use the number pad instead of the fingerprint sensor. Doesn't ever seem to open on the first try, especially if you are in a hurry.

I've had safes from other manufacturers, and none come close to Vaultek, they are the best in my opinion. The Slider series works exceptionally well. Vaultek is the only manufacturer I trust.

Very pleased at the quality of the fingerprint sensor. Faster and more reliable than my other fingerprint safe (a SentrySafe).

I purchased the RS800i as an additional safe in my home. I have several other Vaultek handgun safes and have appreciated the quality and innovation. As much as I like the RS800i, I have some serious reservations. First, other than instructions on how to download the app and set up the locking system and other programmable options, there is virtually nothing to detail the setup of the accessories that come with the safe. There is no place on Vaultek’s website where they offer instructions and tips on proper placement or alternative configurations for accessories. I purchased the optional accessory pack and even that included no instructions.

The programming instructions were outdated, particularly as it applies to the ViSN Nano key. They referenced a previous model that had a charging port and a setup button, neither of which the new model has. I finally figured out the proper installation method through the app.

Disappointing that a high quality product falls so short in terms of documentation and support.

Great product, as advertised. Easy to use, simply set-up, portable, convenient. Would HIGHLY recommend product and looking to purchase more.

PROS: Good quality safe, with room for 4 to 6 handguns with ammo. Security features are very solid, various options to open and close the safe.

CONS: Price is high, and shipping to Puerto Rico was +$100.

I bought a vaultek biometric safe to put on my nightstand but also bought a cheaper brand for my rifles that is also biometric. My VAULTEK works every time without any issues. My economy rifle safe biometric scanner works about 20% of the time. Since then I have purchased another safe for my wife’s nightstand and a lifepod. For me, there’s no other option. All 3 VAULTEK safes biometric scanners work perfectly. I don’t even bother using the bio scanner on the cheaper safe because I don’t want it to go into tamper mode.
