Failed to turn up

Failed to turn up. When I called to ask why, the operator said the ride was not yet assigned. Only after I had called was the driver dispatched. Too late for me as I needed to be at an important appointment. Kind neighbours are more reliable.

Appalling! Terrible start to our holiday.

Today, our experience with Veezu was completely unacceptable.

Travelling to the airport is stressful enough without having to worry about whether your pre-booked taxi will actually arrive on time.

I booked an estate car two weeks in advance. At 2:50 pm today, I received a text message confirming that the car was being dispatched for our 15.00pm booking. Shortly after 15.00pm, I received a call from a taxi driver informing me that he had only just been assigned the job and would not arrive for another 40 minutes.

I then contacted your head office and was told that your drivers are self-employed and bid for jobs on the day. This is simply not good enough. If drivers are only offered pre-booked jobs at the last minute and are free to accept or decline them, then your so-called “pre-booking” airport service where you add an option to book on the phone simply doesn’t exist and offers no real guarantee at all.

The job then had to be reassigned to another driver, and we were eventually picked up 1 hour and 20 minutes after our scheduled booking time. Pick up time now 16.22pm

To make matters worse, because of the delay we were caught in a complete standstill on the M25, turning what should have been a two-hour journey into a journey of more than five hours. Had we been collected at the agreed time, we would have avoided this traffic disruption entirely and it wouldn’t have held up the driver we were given. If we had been travelling to catch a flight that same evening, we would have missed that flight.

No customer should have to deal with this level of anxiety when travelling to the airport. When I spoke to your head office, I was repeatedly told that they were “trying their best.” There was apology, but no real acceptance of responsibility for what has happened nor an offer for a manager to follow up.

If no driver had accepted our booking, why were we not informed well in advance? What is the point of pre-booking a taxi if you only discover at the scheduled pickup time whether anyone is willing to take the job?

I also feel for the driver who eventually accepted the journey. He was professional and did his best in difficult circumstances, and he too deserves to be compensated for being put in this position.

This service was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. As a result, I have cancelled my return journey with Veezu and will instead use my regular taxi company, A1 Cars Bedford, who have brilliant customer service and have never let us down.

I strongly suggest that Veezu reconsiders its business model if it allows customers to be treated this way. Advertising a pre-booked airport transfer service is misleading when, in reality, there is no guarantee that a driver will be available when promised.

Taxi booked for train station

Ordered a taxi for Norwich train station and another one for our return journey as went to London for the day.
Both taxis were on time. Drivers very polite and taxis very clean.
Good communication with the booking reasonable prices and opted to pay cash so we could also tip the drivers. Have used before due to good service

One star is way too much!
Rude drivers, who can’t find the correct address. One actually argued with me over my address and postcode!
The final straw was not turning up for a pre booked taxi… resulting in missing a train!
Not even an apology!
Avoid this company!
It’s such a shame…. They used to be so good!
Maybe employ better drivers!
And call centre staff who take the initial booking and complaints!

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. pre booked a taxi for emergency dental appointment this afternoon. Never showed up. I phoned twice and was told both times it was 5 minutes away. Total lies.Missed important appointment.

Worst company ever

Ruined my wedding day

Spoilt my post wedding plans. The stress they caused was horrible. Booked a taxi for 4pm to go to the after wedding venue. No one arrived by 4:10pm so I called them and they said "sorry we're late but these things happen but we'll be there in about 20 minutes". I called back at 4:30pm and they said, "Sorry we've got no one who can pick you up at the moment". So I gave up and called Delta and they arrived in about 5 minutes and thankfully we made it to the wedding do in time. I then got a text msge from Veeza at 6:25pm saying "you're taxi has arrived" 😂... Will never use them again.

Unprofessional Driver

The driver’s behaviour became noticeably cold and dismissive as soon as he saw me approach the vehicle. He immediately opened the window on the opposite side of the car and avoided eye contact throughout the journey. Despite me explaining that I had never been to the destination before, he dropped me on the wrong side of a main road, pointed me toward an entirely different building, and incorrectly stated that it was the dental practice. As a result, I became lost, missed my appointment, and lost money. The overall interaction felt careless, dehumanising, and lacking in basic regard for my wellbeing and safety.

A Disputed Taxi Pickup and Unresolved Cancellation Fee Following a Train Station Journey

Upon exiting Newport railway station, I purchased a beverage from Costa Coffee and subsequently booked a taxi via Veezu. Minutes later, the driver contacted me to confirm his arrival. I returned his call to inform him that he had positioned himself on the incorrect side of the station. He disputed this, asserting that I was the one who had gone to the wrong location, before cancelling the booking and charging me a cancellation fee. I promptly raised the matter with Veezu's customer services, who arranged an alternative vehicle. The replacement driver collected me from the correct location and conveyed me to my destination; however, I was billed for this second journey in addition to the first. Despite assurances that the erroneous charge would be refunded to my bank account, no such reimbursement has been received to date.

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding a booking I made with Veezu that was not fulfilled.
I booked a taxi for 26/04/2026 at 1:15pm from L5to Liverpool Cruise Port. Unfortunately, the driver did not arrive, and I received no communication or explanation regarding the failure to attend the booking.

This caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my plans, as I was left without transport and had to make alternative arrangements.
As the service I paid for was not provided, I am requesting a full refund for this booking. I would also appreciate an explanation as to why the booking was not honoured and what measures will be taken to prevent this happening again in future.

Please treat this matter seriously and respond as soon as possible regarding both my complaint and refund request.

Shockingly bad

The driver did not arrive despite our being texted he had. We waited, called him and learned he was ‘near a traffic light’. Using the tracking system he told us to walk to him. It was a significant distance and I am 74. I guess we were too slow. He cancelled our ride at 11 am on a Friday night in the middle of clubland Norwich. If I could give a zero I would.

Great if you like waiting and waiting ...

Booked for a taxi to pick us up from a coach drop off point for the time the coach was due to arrive. When the coach arrived everybody else got into their booked transport and we were left waiting. Contacted Veezu after 25 minutes only to find the call handler had not bothered to dispatch a driver. She then reported a driver is on the way. I was about to call another taxi company when the driver arrived. Our taxi driver was very apologetic that we had been waiting (we said we had booked for a set time) and said he had only just been allocated the pick up. No complaints about the driver but the call handling service is awful. You are expected to know postcodes of every pub, hotel and pick up point which you never used to need with local taxi firms who would know where places are in the local area, especially a massive service station and Travel Lodge area. I will not use this company again as do not feel confident that I will get a taxi when needed.

Wait times not accurate

Started using because they are cheaper than Uber and give more money to their drivers (I think) but several times now the app will tell me my ride is coming in 2 minutes and I’m sat there waiting for at least 10 mins because the driver isn’t coming towards me. It’s also difficult to find the drivers sometimes and they say they have stopped where the pin is, but that’s not where it’s showing for me on the app. Generally unreliable if you need to get somewhere quickly and the app sucks. They also charge you for cancelling, even if the driver is not moving. Will sadly need to move back over to Uber as it’s just more accurate and reliable.

Love the app

Love the app it's so easy to use. I pre-booked a taxi for the following morning and it was there waiting for me on time. My driver was really lovely, reasonable fare and could even prepay with Gpay so didn't need to worry about having cash. Great from start to finish will be using Veezu again

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Pre booked a taxi the night before for a trip to the train station. They didn’t turn up, after calling they said they were fully booked and asked us to wait. We couldn’t otherwise we would had missed our train. Unsure of the point of pre booking and having it confirmed if there are no taxis. Won’t use again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone I like!

Late taxis

The last few taxis we have booked have been much later than what we booked for. When we have booked them, it says 5 minutes away, which is fine, but 30 minutes later we’re still waiting then when we call they say there’s no driver available. If there’s no driver available why say that the car is 5 minutes away? Just be honest and say it will be 30 minutes.
