The bag itself was fine. It took an absolute age to arrive and communication with Velden was sluggish. The bag arrived with no shoulder strap. I took it up with them politely, they asked for a photo which I sent and then... nothing There are plenty of other similar bags available, I suggest everyone avoids Velden at all costs
WEBSITE IS A SCAM DO NOT ORDER
Velden craft states it is based in London and looks convincing. I was duped. I ordered a rucksack for £75 and it did not arrive. When I ordered it said the rucksack had been posted then sent some very dubious tracking information about it passing through customs. I obviously did not want a rucksack from abroad. I stupidly did not look at Trust Pilot before ordering but there are reviews about drop shipping from China. I have not received the backpack, customer services have not responded to any emails. The website says my order has been delivered- it hasn't. I have reported the website.

I ordered a backpack on the 6th of October expecting it to be delivery within days.
Veldencraft’s website shows that the item was “supposedly” shipped on the 7th of October… as of the 19th of October the backpack has not been delivered. The timeline of depots, customs and ports shown on their tracker is extremely suspect.
I did receive an email, after chasing Veldencraft by phone, text and email on the 13th and 14th of October,
I was assured that my item would be delivered soon and that the tracker took a few days to update.
I shall be reporting Veldencraft and trying to retrieve my money.
Do not purchase from this company!!
Velden Craft (ASCENT EMPORIUM LTD) was dissolved in April 2025. It no longer legally exists as a company. It doesn't have a registered address. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. It doesn't exist, hence nothing will arrive, and furthermore there's no one to give you a refund. Also it uses drop-shipping templates on the website so that's a red flag too, in case the company not existing somehow isn't enough. I haven't bought from here to be clear, and nor do I recommend anyone else does.
This company is dropshipping, buying cheap from another country and selling for a massive profit. For the price you pay there are much better more ethical brands you can buy from, especially because delivery is so slow and the bags are average quality and probably unethically made.
The bag I bought is absolute quality. Top notch! The delivery time was a bit long however when I contacted the company the service was prompt and curteous.
I placed my order on 25th of August and never received it. First, I was told it had been delivered and to check with my neighbours — it hadn’t. Then they claimed it was returned to the warehouse, which is not true as I was never contacted or given tracking info.
I have emailed over 10 times with almost no response, and my refund request has been ignored. Terrible customer service — feels like a scam.
placed an order 10 days ago and still haven’t received the package. Customer service has been unhelpful and unable to provide a delivery date. There’s also no phone number to contact them directly. Very disappointing experience, I do not recommend buying from this company.

I ordered the duffel bag from Velden Craft as a gift, and I’m super impressed with the quality – it's beautifully made and a perfect size weekend bag! Unfortunately there were a few issues with order confirmation and delivery (but the tracker does make it clear that it may need a day or two to update), however, customer service were extremely helpful and very quick to respond to any queries I had. Would definitely order another product and recommend to friends!
It took longer to arrive than I expected, as the tracking number seemed to be stuck at the same location for a while, but I recieved reassuring updates from the site whenever I asked. I ordered the Griffin Leather Rucksack, and it is terrific. I did not initially notice that there are strong magnetic catches under the buckles at the back and they make it much quicker to get in and out. The quality is great, lovely leather smell, no marks or defects in the leather and the stitching is strong, tight and tidy. As you can tell, I am very pleased with it. Mike
