I purchased 2 sweaters from Viola and Vera Vancouver….they arrived 3 weeks later from China the 3x sweater was smaller than the medium and looks nothing like the picture… and as for Customer Service, I have emailed them for about two weeks and have not had one response. Now that the sweaters have arrived I’ve sent another email asking for a refund and I am not holding my breath.

Overall do not ever buy from a company like this it is a complete waste of money and scam.

I too was scammed. Minutes after ordering, I came on this site and read reviews and then immediately tried to cancel the order. Was told it was too late (yeah right!) When the item came it was nothing like the pic on the site. Wish it was still up so I could compare the two. Went to the sizing chart and it was over 10 cms shorter than the size guide said. Would not give me a refund and I pd $60. Cleveresty and another company with Toronto in the name are all the same scam. Might even be the same people!

Garbage company with garbage product. Ordered two thick winter sweaters. They look nothing like advertised. Very thin see through fabric, colour is not the same and sized for Chinese people. Return policy is a joke. Items do not go to Vancouver but CHINA at my expense. Totally scammed.

This scam is genius. Trick you into believing you are buying from a local store, great reviews, good looking website. The worst clothing you could imagine. Nothing like what is online.

Then to make it worse, they lie about the return policy. Can't return it. Offer a 30% discount on junk you don't want.

Echoing the comments below, I regret ordering online from this company. The two items I EVENTUALLY received came from China and were poor quality. They looked nothing like the products pictured. Do not order from them.

ONE ADVICE ONLY: DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
In fact this "company" does not deserve even one star.
Even though they delivered two products I ordered, both paid $150, which is not cheap or discounted, I would clearly say this company is a SCAM. The sweater was paid $70 and is below any standards or expectations, nothing line the picture shown on the website. No tags at all, it looked like somebody knited is by hand and stiched it together in a hurry. The second product was a pair of winter waterproof boots...OMG, when it came the lining inside had such a bad smell, they were so light like they were made of cheap fabric or paper. These two products don't deserve to be in any second-hand shop!

Ordered an XL winter jacket on October 24th.
Finally arrived today, Dec 11, 24

It fits my wife who is 5'4 and 120 LBS. Basically a small, not XL. After waiting this long, such a disappointment.

Such a scam. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

Bought the boots online. What a shock! Super low-quality materials at a very high price. The picture is so different from the actual product.

This company is a scam - do not buy from them. They state they are a Vancouver company, but everything comes from China. And took forever to get here. I ordered boots, they sent the wrong style of boots. When I asked to return the wrong item for a full refund - i was offered a 10% refund, and no return. This is unacceptable since they sent me the wrong boots, it is clearly their mistake and they refuse to rectify the situation by either sending me the boots I ordered, or giving me a refund for the boots I did not order. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY.

If I could give them 0 I would, I ordered a couple sweaters from them, which took forever to arrive. First off it stated Vancouver, well the shipment came from China and turned out to be junk as expected. One of the sweaters was completely stretched looking and like a crop top and was supposed to be cashmere-it is def not cashmere. I sent an email asking about the return policy, this was my response:
We regret to inform you that the store has been permanently closed. As a result, we are unable to process any returns, refunds, or exchanges.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

What a complete scam

Poor quality,I have been scammed! I will from now on to take the time to check out company. I have boots that are poorly made and way too small. I bought a sweater and a man’s jacket that does not look like the picture. I hope my info with PayPal is safe?

this compagny is not canadian and dont return question. they do what they want as soon they got your money.
all item are in sale and item in sale cant be replace or return even if description is not what you received.

This company is a scam, we ordered over $200.00 worth of sweaters and they did not deliver. No phone number and turns out they are not from Vancouver , from China
They would do nothing for us, so now I have to deal with our credit card company. Consumers be aware

Ordered 2 jackets from them that appeared very nice in the ad and arrived substandard quality. When I tried to return them I was told I had to ship them to China and not the warehouse in Ontario that they came from which makes it totally uneconomical to get your money back. What really burnt was PayPal sided with them who I have used in the past to help prevent getting ripped off. Total scammers all around!

Scam. From China and will not refund. The vest was way too small and now they won’t exchange or refund.

Like everyone else who has posted, I got taken by this company fronting as a store closing in Vancouver. Didn't realize was shipped from China until it was too late. Contacted them before my order arrived about being scammers and they assured me they would "make it right" when my order arrived. Few days later, order arrived and, as expected, it was absolute garbage! Contacted again and told they can't do refunds right now because the store has closed. However, they continue to sell to unsuspecting gullible folks like me.

Absolute garbage. This is not a reputable site. I ordered a pair of boots which I thought were going to be high quality and they were the lightest cheapest pair of boots ever. I sent them an email saying I want my money back which took them a week to reply saying they closed down and can’t do a refund.

STAY AWAY!!! I never write bad reviews but after being duped by this company I am angry. Bought a couple of pairs of boots which I thought were coming from a sale from a reputable Vancouver store, reviews were good. I think the ad was 30% off, hand crafted boots, closing down business. I rechecked the online info, reviews etc. and ordered. After a few hours I received a social media notification for the very same ad for a Calgary location. It seemed suspicious. I felt uneasy and tried to cancel the order through paypal. That didn't work. I called paypal and was told I had to wait to see if it was being delivered. I wanted to cancel the order before it was processed but that wasn't an option. I went to the vendors website and there was no contact number. I called my credit card company and they couldn't do anything, too early in the transaction. I was told I had to wait 10 days. By the way stay away from using paypal for online purchases, lots if security breaches with personal info. The boots took a long time to come from what I thought was a store closing in Vancouver. Nope, delivery was direct from China and complete garbage. The "waterproof leather" boots are lighter in weight than my slippers and the smell from the synthetic material was overwhelming. I want to return them I can pay for shipping back to China. Temu, Alibaba or Shein are better bets if you are looking for throw away fashion. I was not looking for this and thought I was ordering from a legit business. The Veloura store is a front. I paid $165.00 sale price for 2 boots. Both can be bought on Amazon for under $20. Not a lot of money lost in the big scheme of things but I imagine this has been quite a profitable scam.
