Misleading product and unnecessarily difficult refund process
Ordered lights that didn’t match the website and were of noticeably lower quality than expected for the price. A return was arranged and collected by their courier on 13 March.
Before the return, they repeatedly tried to persuade me to keep the items by offering partial refunds or store credit instead of a full refund. I declined, as the items were not of the expected quality and differed materially from the online design.
Despite the return being completed, the refund was then delayed while they claimed items were missing from their warehouse — an internal issue not visible to me. They requested that I provide photos and evidence (which I did), and subsequently confirmed they had sufficient information to process the refund. They also promised a refund by a set date, which then passed without payment.
I have now had to initiate a chargeback to recover the funds.
A simple return, but an unnecessarily difficult refund process.
