I purchased a Honda Jazz Crosstar from Vertu Motors Huddersfield. I live 100 miles away and didn’t want to travel that far but luckily Vertu do a delivery service. I dealt with Cristian who was always polite and patient. I was rather concerned as this was the first car I had bought without physically seeing it. I think I got a good deal with my part exchange and when the car was deliver by a very pleasant gentleman I quickly realised I needn’t have worried. I love the car and highly recommend Vertu Motors Huddersfield.

The one aspect of a business is how they deal with you when things go wrong... Its alright selling you a nice shiny car and offering you the world, but what happens after 4 years when the warranty runs out and a major expensive problem with your honda occurs?
Well, i have to say, we are beyond happy with the experience we received from Vertu Honda Huddersfield. We found a problem with the brakes and having spent a whole Sunday researching this problem, it appeared that over 90% of the Honda dealerships UK wide refused to accept any responsibility or offer a full repair. The fault was diagnosed and Honda informed us that they would contact HQ for a replacement and that it would be delivered ASAP. When the part arrived, we were top of the list for repair and the car was repaired within days of the spare part arriving. Many thanks to service manager Mr Paul Walsh and to the fabulous reception staff and the mechanics (whoever you are) We intend to replace our CRV as and when the time is right and since the repair " HondaBoy" is running and driving better than the day we purchased him...!

Having previously bought two cars here over the last few years I recommended my daughter go there, no pushy sales techniques and we had been happy in the past with Vertu Huddersfield. In January this year my daughter bought a Honda Jazz from here, but unfortunately someone ran into the back of her in June and wrote it off! As we had been happy with previous purchases we went back to this dealer, that is a recommendation in itself for the dealership. The Salesmen Andrew and Habib were both very helpful, understanding my daughter was still upset over the accident and not really ready to decide on another car, but she needed one to commute. She did decide on one but later changed her mind, so went back again with a friend and looked at another when I was on holiday. Bearing in mind my daughter was not used to choosing a car on her own without advice from family, even though she had paid a deposit she asked me to check if I thought the second car she had decided on was suitable. Andrew was very patient and very professional and when I looked at the car there was a rip in the seat (fair enough they said it could be repaired) and the boot lining was very worn and scruffy, a few paint scuffs too, plus it had two previous owners in four years. It had obviously not been well looked after, alarm bells rang so I advised her not to get that one. We asked if there were any alternatives, Andrew went to check and then the Manager came to speak to us. He was very confrontational and said he would refund her deposit but he wasn’t going to have another car brought to the dealership as it would lose him money! In other words, he didn’t want our custom, in effect he might as well have said go away, we don’t want to sell to you. His attitude was disgusting! I understand he may have felt annoyed by my daughter being indecisive, but buying a car is rather more than just buying a new dress! Especially for a young woman who had already lost money on the car that had been written off after only a few months! He was so rude it was quite unbelievable the way he spoke to us. That manager is a disgrace to Vertu being so objectionable to customers, even more so when he knew we had gone there specifically because we had been happy with previous purchases. If this is the way he treats his customers then he really needs to receive some retraining in customer service and compare his arrogance with the professionalism of his salesmen. Not only has he lost my daughter’s custom, only two days earlier I had recommended them to a friend who was looking to buy a brand new Honda, after I was extolling how good the salesmen were. I am only sorry the lack of these possible sales have lost commission for Andrew and Habib, because of the attitude of the rude, ignorant Manager. I hope his Head Office read this review and I intend to e mail them as well.

My wife took her Skoda Fabia here for a full service and MOT.
They cleaned the outside and valeted the inside of the car, and were really competitive on price.
We will certainly use them again for servicing/MOT

this is my second Honda H R V, purchased from vertu,
when i decided to update to the 25 model, i spoke to Lyndsey, advised model i wanted ,we arranged appointment for next day, but,, what surprised ,sent me a video of the vehicle which was excellent, I met Lyndsey to look at the vehicle, who took me through the vehicle in detail again, from then, just a case of setting up payment and delivery ,which i received 17June,the hand over was good, i find Vertu a excellent company to work with ,from sales, to aftercare .no need to look at elsewhere for Honda.
