Everyone in branch tried to amend mistakes.

The initial salesman messed up getting my new vehicle prepared in a timely manner.
The salesman who handed over the keys and vehicle did so in a professional manner

Customer service was great from viewing…

Customer service was great from viewing my car to driving it away. The salesman in particular was excellent felt as if I had known him for years. He was so friendly and knowledgable. All the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service when buying a used car. Hamza was very professional and informative throughout the whole process and answered any questions I had. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vertu to anyone and I would definitely be a returning customer.

Great garage to buy a car from ..

I recently bought a used ford kuga from this garage a week ago , from the moment I enquired about the vehicle online , the salesman jack Hutchinson was very helpful and attentive to everything I asked, he helped me through the finance and reassured me throught the process of buying the car to the point they actually organised to deliver the car to my house which was a great help , to Jack and all the team thank you for making this experience easy, would definitely recommend people to use them .

Shocking aftersales

Took my car into the Sheffield branch (where purchased) and car was diagnosed with the rear shock absorber torn away from chassis. Told I would need to organise transporter to their Doncaster branch! Told I would need to organise and pay this myself plus they were unable to confirm if this was covered under my warranty!! and would not contact the Doncaster branch to book in, that was also down to me. Absolutely diabolical after sales/customer service.

Great service …. Kurt Thomson went over and above !

Kurt made the transition from purchasing my used Mazda exceptional.The car when I arrived was immaculate and everything we discussed about the car has been completed to a really high standard.It is somewhat refreshing for this sort of service from a car dealership as previously I have experienced difficulties with competitive dealerships .In any event,I would highly recommend Mazda Sheffield and would Finally also like the thank Grant for his input in the smooth process.

Misled and Disappointed - A Bait and Switch Tactic

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with Vertu Mazda Sheffield on September 8th, which has left us feeling misled and our time completely wasted.

The initial contact with Kurt was positive. My wife enquired about a used Mazda CX-5, and he was transparent about it missing one service and even offered a £200 discount with free delivery. Based on this honest information, we decided to make the 100-mile round trip to see the car.

Kurt at the dealership was great—helpful, not pushy, and even offered a fresh MOT and service. After a good test drive, we were happy to put down a deposit.

The problems began when we were handed over to the manager, Steve. The figures and facts we were given changed completely. Steve informed us the car was actually missing three services, not one. The promised discount was withdrawn, and the "fresh MOT" was no longer offered as one had "recently" been done. Most frustratingly, he tried to base the quote on an old, higher price that was no longer on the website, rather than the current listed price.

It felt like a classic "bait and switch." We were given one set of facts to get us in the door, only for the deal to change once we were committed. We even tried to find a solution, asking for a mere £195 reduction to compensate for the misinformation and our significant time and travel, but Steve refused, claiming he was already "losing money."

We left feeling utterly misled. The unprofessional approach and the clear discrepancy between the salesperson's and manager's information is not what you expect from a reputable group like Vertu. We would advise others to get every single promise in writing before making the journey.
