Vertu Motors - Vauxhall Carlisle Avis 

Went to look at a car and Chris came straight over with a positive approach and smile on his face which made me feel very at ease, nothing was too much hassle for him he answered all questions I had and was very knowledgeable. He wasn’t a pushy salesmen unlike others I’d dealt with he was pleasant and very helpful. Sat down with me and went through every detail I needed to know for me to purchase the car. Very easy process and Chris made it that all much easier by being amazing!! Would 100% recommend buying a car from these guys. 5* service and 5* for Chris.

This is the second car I have bought in finance from them and all I can say is top quality service. Both Lee and Richard were amazing. Seeking out the best cars for the price range I was looking for. Even when the price was too high they looked at other ways of getting as close to my budget as possible. They also helped my friend when I was there with issues he had with his car which he never got from Bristol street motors Carlisle. Cannot fault their customer service. As for the rest of the team as it’s my second car from there, they are so helpful in all the departments!

Vertu Vauxhall Carlisle, Terrible. I took my vauxhall combo van there recently for a service. firstly, I received the vehicle health check video, they recommended new pads and discs because they "are 60% worn" the van passed with perfect braking efficiency it's mot test the previous week, they recommended replacing 3 tyres as they were below "vertu recommended standard" again passed the MOT with no advisories, the tyres were measured at an independent tyre centre the following day all measuring 3.5 mm plus, they recommended new wiper blades as they were "smearing the screen" this was due to bug splatter not the wiper blades, I had fitted brand new blades only 2 days before the service! If I had followed their advice it would have been nearly £700 more. I went to collect it after the service, pulled the dipstick the oil was as black as coal, the service manager said this was "because it was a diesel" and had "been for a road test" considering the mileage was exactly the same as when I dropped it off I highly doubt this. Following a call to the branch manager he agreed that the oil shouldn't be black immediately following the service. I have tried to get an itemised list of everything that was apparently done to the van but the manager doesn't respond to messages. Terrible place, avoid at all costs.
