VILLATEL Avis 

Our stay at Villatel Resort was a mix of highs and lows. The resort itself is beautiful, with clean homes that have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The private pool was a fantastic bonus, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the endless hot water, which was perfect for six people showering daily.

Despite these positives, our first impression was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, the gate guard was rude and unhelpful, making us feel like we were bothering him by arriving. He didn't greet us or offer any directions to our villa, which left us feeling unwelcome and confused.

Another downside was the inconsistency in the amenities provided. On Wednesday, we rented a cabana by the pool and were pleasantly surprised to find bottles of water and ice in the cooler. However, when we returned on Saturday, the cooler was empty, and we were informed that management had discontinued the bottled water service. This was disappointing, especially considering the cost of our stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our time at Villatel Resort, particularly the villa with its themed room. However, for the price we paid, we expected more consistent service and perks. Thank you.

My family enjoyed Villatel and we are already talking about our next vacation there. This is the first time we’ve done a trip of this nature and staying at Villatel made it easy for 3 families to come together, enjoy themselves and have their on privacy.

All Good!! From the gate to the villa all was as expected. My family and I had a wonderful time.

Our family loved this great property. The accommodations were excellent and we had everything we ever needed. The play area and the waterpark were very clean and were very much enjoyed by our family (especially the young children)
Will definitely stay there again if we get back to Orlando

The arrival was flawless, all pertinent information was sent before we arrived. The stay was enjoyable with a few minor inconveniences. The grill had not been cleaned and went on fire ruining our $100 steak dinner. They sent someone to clean the grill but was offered no credit for the inconvenience or wasted food. (We had to pay $150 to rent the grill) The laundry room door handle fell off when the door was opened, again a minor inconvenience but they sent someone to come fix. The amenities were amazing and the main reason for us choosing Villatel for our stay. I would suggest adding a dish drainer to the villa as there was no where to put washed dishes to dry. The gate going into the pool area from the playground was inconvenient as you can only go back in if you walk all the way around the front of the building to return to the pool area. The property was clean and enjoyable otherwise. The kids loved the pirate themed bunk beds with the slide and arcade game in their room.

My family LOVED this property, from the time we arrived thru the time we departed. We had no complaints, they are conveniently located where you can walk to mostly anywhere, movies, shopping, a fun park, food just EVERYTHING. We are definitely planning another trip with more family.

We had an amazing stay in a 4 bedroom villa. The units are new, clean, and have everything you would have in your own home! We enjoyed both the private pool in our villa as well as the large resort pool/lazy river/water slides when we weren't at the parks.

If I had to find any negatives, it would be the lack of water pressure in the showers, but everything else was great!

Had a great time at Villatel. What a great idea this place is. There was so much to do in the house, the pool, and the waterpark on the property. The waterpark area was great since it was not very packed but the water on the slides and lazy river was cold. Main pool was heated to a pleasant temperature.

Suggestion for Villatel - Put a vacuum and mop in the homes, people will use them (kids make a mess!). As other reviews mention, the dryers don't really work. Your vents are clogged, not a dryer problem.

Our family had an amazing spring break at Villatel in Orlando! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The unit was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed — fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and all the little touches that made it feel like home.

The outdoor amenities were a huge hit with our whole family. We loved spending our days by the pool, floating through the lazy river, and enjoying the on-site water park. The amenity options are great including a playground for the kids, basketball court, tennis court, and gym area.

One of the biggest perks was how close Villatel is to both Disney and Universal. It made getting to and from the parks so easy, and we loved being able to come back and relax in such a peaceful, beautiful setting.

Highly recommend Villatel for families looking for comfort, fun, and convenience in Orlando. We’ll definitely be back!

Our car rental pickup disaster at MCO terminal C delayed our arrival to the property to 12:30am, fortunately checking in at the security gate was super easy and we were given our parking placard, and went right to the 4BR house.
The house was clean and looked amazing. The kids room had an arcade machine with multiple games available on the system and an Xbox One S mounted to the wall with two controllers! There is also a (very fast) slide from one of the top bunks - there are two bunk beds in the room. All the beds are on the softer side, but still comfy and more importantly, clean! Each bed room and the living room has a TV with a FireTV device (that allowed loading additional apps) so you can watch almost anything online.
Wireless internet was provided and a speed test from the dining room and one of the upstairs bedrooms showed 270Mbps download and 247Mbps upload!
All three bathrooms had toiletries (bar soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) on the counter, and three different sized towels hung, with more towels above the washer&dryer. There were two packets of laundry detergent but we brought our own Tide pods and fabric softener sheets. All the bathrooms had ventilation fans!!
Kitchen was fully stocked with glass and plastic tableware, and utensils. Toaster, coffee maker, hot water boiler, and blender were on the counter and clean. Two bottles of dish soap, one sponge, and one roll of paper towels was also provided. Pots, pans, and sheets for the range & oven were also stocked!

The waterpark has a heated pool and lazy river that were open 10am-8pm during our stay. The splash park and water slides are not heated. The water slides are open 10am-6pm. The heated water was very comfortable and you do not smell any chlorine (unlike the pool at the house), so it must be a salt based system. There were plenty of single and double lazy river floats available and multiple lifeguards patrolling the lazy river course. Only one lifeguard was working the pool. There were either one or two lifeguards working the splash pad and they asked the kids to not run. There were two lifeguards working the water slides.
During our stay, I was able to get an Amazon delivery to the house. So I’m sure you can get Uber eats/doordash or even Walmart delivery there too. I saw security drive around at all hours of the day and night, so that’s reassuring. The Villatel staff working around the property were all friendly and said hi, and offered directions to the waterpark facility.

As part of our 6-night booking, we were given two $50 arcade cards to Dezerland, which is minutes away by car! There wasn’t a lot of variety of arcade games, mostly driving games and claw games (with very loose claws). There are two cart racing tracks there, one for kids and a more complex one for adults. Bowling and a trampoline park, as well as the car museum are available too. The car museum is not free but there are a few cars you can see for free.

Beautiful property, wonderful amenities. We loved the water park area--it was a bit frustrating that gratuity was a non negotiable on the purchases at the bar at the pool (we prefer to tip for service rendered, not a flat amount like the 18.5% charged for us ordering at the bar and getting our drinks there). Our dryer in our villa never worked, they sent someone out to try and repair it, and he even took it out and replaced it with a different dryer, which also didn't work (so I'm assuming there's an error in the actual wiring of the villa) and that was definitely a downside for a one week visit when you have four kids. But overall, the stay was good and the property had a lot to offer. Would definitely consider staying again!

Beautiful well appointed villas, terrific for large families. Playground very close by and wonderful for younger children. Beds extremely comfortable. And our kids loved the resort pool.

Great family stay for spring break! Villa has everything you needed. New, nicely decorated and clean. Pool was small but perfect size for our preschoolers. Amenities was nice. Water slide. Bball courts. Playground. Food at Aqua Bar was decent. Staff was friendly. Only is some parts of the property is still undergoing construction so parking by our villa wasn’t as organized. Neighbors were parking in any spots they wanted when your designated spot is the one right in front of your door so that was a pain to come home our spot being taken. Other than that, great stay!

This was a very nice resort with a fun pool and a great basketball court (my kids spent a couple hours each day at the courts). 4 bedroom villa had a good amount of space and had everything we needed. Only real negative about this place is it felt a little like they were trying to nickle and dime you. $95 to use the grill was probably the most ridiculous thing overall. $200 for the pool was bad enough but to charge for the grill was really overboard.

The house was magnificently decorated! Fully stocked with everything we needed. Great kiddy park just outside the door

Villatel is a great resort with exceptional amenities! First the villa that we stayed in was so nice and perfect size for our family! The design is modern -nice living room, kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking pans which is great for a large group of people. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds with soft pillows, The private pool was a perfect place to unwind after a long day at the parks. The location is perfect, close to Universal and Disney and shopping centers. The waterpark was nice with plenty of activities to enjoy with the family. Will definitely be back! We will also let our friends know about this amazing resort!!!

Very Nice property. Well appointed and felt like home away from home. The grounds are well kept and the amenities (water park, pool, gym, etc) are exceptional. Also a good central location.

Overall the stay was fine. The house was plenty big for our family. There were no dish towels, which seems crazy for a mostly stocked kitchen. Some bowls with lids would be so helpful. There was a major lack of communication when our house was still being cleaned when it was time to check in. We waited almost an hour until we could get into the house. We were refunded for the pool heating, but it never worked. I made a call about it, she said it was on but no one actually came to check. We barely used the pool which was a major disappointment.
The life jackets for kids were amazing! The pool and slides were fun but pretty chilly. To play Basketball it says online that you are to reserve time slots but it was a total free for all.

Access to all that was apart of resort,great staying area that's very spacious,great set up of the Villas that has something for a family. Recommend to anyone that's considering to stay please do, because I know me and my family will be back.
