ViralSnare Avis 

A video of my horse petting a barn cat with his lip got a lot of views on tiktok last year. ViralSnare reached out about licensing and I agreed. I’ve never done anything like that before. I forget it exists until I get an email from viralsnare every few months telling me I have a payment processing. It makes me a good lil chunk of change which definitely helps pay bills and such. (Man, you know you’re an adult when your viral video royalties go straight to utilities)

After 4 months of waiting on a statement to be paid - finally sorted. No communication from them when contacted though which is a shame… but glad to finally have payment.

I had someone reach out to me on Instagram about a particular video and I accepted for them to own it, and then also used the link on their website to submit many more.

I’ve since been paid around £600 in royalties, this didn’t happen for many many months after submitting and there was little communication but in all honesty, who cares about that? You can still post the video as you please and they post and chase for royalties if others post. Literally effortless money. I have no idea which videos are making the money or where they are doing well but honestly I really don’t mind, I’m super happy with just getting nice surprise statements in my inbox every so often!

When I have dealt with viralsnare they’ve been incredibly friendly and professional.

If you want to know every little detail about where your video is posted, how well it’s doing etc. maybe this isn’t the company for you, but for me personally, sending a video and having to do nothing else and hardly talk to anyone has been absolutely fantastic.

Do your due diligence before you sign up!

This is my experience with this company......Being approached on Instagram by a profile, of a different name, with 1.2mil viewers and promises to share on their page with a tag, only to be directed to an upload page where your content basically becomes Viralsnare's. No initial confirmation email on uploading or any communication, no money, no acknowledgment from this point 6mths on. No paperwork makes it easy to forget who you sent it to and with no way to review your agreement. I have no idea who has used my content or on what platform. Then it appears on Viralsnare youtube with no prior advice, as promised, and again no acknowledgment, as promised. This is when I realised I have no control over my content, regardless of still having the copyrights. Having no recollection of signing this over to this particular company I asked Youtube to remove my content. Upon doing this, I hear from Viralsnare for the first time ever with threats of legal action and escalation within 12 hrs if I do not retract my report. MY footage, that I filmed, and I was being threatened with legal action. And how quick they are to contact you when it comes to wanting something.

They finally tagged me, and sent an intention to post, 4 months after posting and only when I called them out on it.

I will highlight that I did not approach these guys, they approached me, I have little interest in the $, only the awareness of a campaign to help save wildlife. I am, as I told them, thankful for the lesson they taught me. I'm also thankful I did not hand over control of my most precious content, which they originally asked for (via Instagram). Read the fine print!

And know that once you commit you can not retract!

Needless to say, they never shared it on the Instagram account they had suggested in the beginning. They can add any title to your video they want. In my case, their title on my video goes against everything that I fight for in the interest of wildlife.

I'm of the same opinion as the other 1 star reviewers. My review has been verified, so please take that into account. I would not trust the reviews that comment on great communication or service or money! Verified means Viralsnare has disputed the review and reviewers review has been proven true.

My first video was uploaded last September 2021.it received nearly 30k views.i uploaded another one.sad to say i have not been paid for the two video.have emailed them for a couple of times.no feedback at all on what is the basis for monitizing a video.

Easy process great communication . They contact me about a cats video and I submitted after some months I received a payment.

Context: We have had one viral video licensed with ViralSnare for over a year.

Working with ViralSnare has been a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

The company gladly licensed our video for us. Then, we then didn't hear from them for almost a year. Our video racked up millions of views all over the internet, we didn't receive a penny. Finally, a year later, we received a royalty payment notice over email for around $80. This was only for the previous month, and did not account for the previous 10 months before that.

I reached out to ViralSnare over email MANY times, never receiving any response. I reached out to them on all of their social media accounts, never receiving any response. Finally, after writing my initial negative review on TrustPilot, they emailed me back hoping to resolve my issue, specifically referencing my review and asking me what they have to do to get me to remove my review.

They informed me that we should have received a little over $1,000 from the previous 10 months, but "the funds went unallocated", whatever that means. They assured us that they backlog of earnings would be paid to us on our next months earnings statement.

It's now been another 3 months and we've yet to receive another penny from them. They are continuing to give me the cold shoulder over email, and they've basically stolen ALL of our earnings and refuse to pay us for what we're owed.

What ViralSnare is doing to us is outright theft and they don't seem to care at all. Anyone who is looking to license a video, I beg you to please avoid ViralSnare at all costs. This company does not have one bit of respect for themselves, let alone their clients, whose money they keep for themselves.

As always, I'm happy to update this review if anything is to change about my situation. However, I'm doubtful that will ever happen.

ViralSnare, I know you're reading this. You should be ashamed. Please be better. Have some respect for yourself. Pitiful.

Someone from ViralSnare contact me requesting I update my Trustpilot review from negative to positive. Absolutely not! They still have not provided ANY documentation showing the total amount they've made vs what they've paid us and they continue to not respond to any of my emails.

Absolutely awful experience with this company, would never recommend to anyone under any circumstances.

Easy to work with, we got paid. We have no complaints at all!

I have been working with ViralSnare for the past couple of years, and I am 100% satisfied with the outcome. The three clips that I licensed went super-viral on their youtube channel and made me a decent amount. I totally vouch for ViralSnare
