3 Stars – A Difficult Start, but Ultimately Resolved Fairly
My experience with Vision Coding had a challenging beginning, but the company did ultimately handle things in a fair and considerate way, which I appreciate.
I purchased their software to enhance and update my car’s MMI. Unfortunately, the supplied SD card encountered issues during the update, which caused the MMI to crash into a blue screen, leaving the interface temporarily unusable. It wasn’t a safety risk, but it was certainly inconvenient and disrupted normal use of the car.
When the issue occurred, I reached out straight away. Support was provided via email only, and with the QR code for instructions not working and the images I sent initially not viewable on their end, the troubleshooting process took longer than expected.
It took four days — including the weekend — for a replacement SD card to arrive and restore the MMI. Once installed, everything worked correctly again, but those four days were understandably stressful.
After the technical issue was resolved, it took about another week to reach a fair conclusion regarding compensation. The initial discussion was a little tense, but after further conversation, the Director acknowledged the inconvenience and offered an apology and a goodwill refund. This final outcome was fair and appreciated.
In Summary:
• The initial SD card failed during the update.
• The MMI was inaccessible for four days.
• Email-only support made the situation slower and more stressful to resolve.
• A fair and considerate resolution was eventually reached.
To end on a positive note: once everything was up and running, the upgrade itself is excellent, and the price was very competitive. I’m pleased with the final result, even if the path to get there was more complicated than expected.

Great product.
Great product that adds really useful features to the vw Polo infotainment system. Delivery wasn't the fastest but it arrived safely and all worked as it's supposed to.

Terrible unprofessional service
Terrible unprofessional service. Ordered SD from visioncoding.co.uk to activate CarPlay which didn't work. i sent him several messages and he didn't reply at all. I've lost £150. Will not recommend

Every SD card is tested and verified before dispatch, and activation issues are almost always caused by factors specific to the vehicle or update environment. We always invite customers to provide diagnostic photos or videos so that we can assist or confirm eligibility for a replacement or refund — however, we haven’t received these from you so far.

Worked Perfectly!!
Vision coding had an activation code for CarPlay in old Skodas (2015-2020). Worked perfectly and save a wild goose chase searching the internet for it. They checked in with me before completing the sale to see if I had the additional parts required. The ONLY thing they didn’t list, is that I needed a Windows computer for the option to do it myself. But, it works and I am happy 👍🏾

Trash behaviour
Enquired about activating Carplay with them, asked a few questions via WhatsApp, it was over the weekend. Made a few enquiries with other companies also to decide who to go with.
Informed them politely that I'd sorted it elsewhere, and thanked them regardless. Woke up to a message claiming that I wanted free advice and it was "trash behaviour"!
Not a good way to react when someone makes enquiries and decides not to go ahead..
EDIT: Definitely the right company. Interaction took place via WhatsApp on the number linked to via the compatibility section of your website (ending 15999) - screenshots available on request.
