At ease with my appointment

Had the pleasure of meeting Isabel at a recent ladies treatment. Isabel explained fully how it work each step of the way and reassured me throughout. Explained after care very well and I’ve booked in again for a follow up treatment as I felt so at ease.

Initial Thoughts – Plasma Fibroblast (Upper & Lower Eyelids)

Booking & Arrival:
The appointment was easy to book via Fresha, which confirmed that my treatment would be with Rayanne. However, when I arrived at the studio, there was no receptionist or anyone to greet clients — just a small waiting area downstairs from the hair salon. This felt a little disorganised and unprofessional. I was also surprised to learn that I would be treated by someone else (Diana), without prior notice. A heads-up about this change would have been appreciated.

Practitioner Experience:
Diana was friendly and personable, and she did help put me at ease before the treatment. She explained that although a free HIFU Upper Lift and Chin Reduction were advertised with the treatment, she had already decided not to perform the HIFU due to overlap with the fibroblast area. I wasn’t too bothered by this, as I didn’t feel I needed it, and she also advised against chin reduction due to having HarmonyCA 8 months ago in the jawline — which I appreciated. That said, it would’ve been better to be informed ahead of time if parts of the treatment were going to be declined, so expectations could be managed — or at least offered an alternative.

Upselling & Aftercare:
Before starting, Diana tried to upsell their C-Tox serum as aftercare, which was not included in the price. If this serum is essential, it should be part of the treatment package — I found the sales pitch off-putting, especially at the start of the appointment. I came for a specific treatment and would have preferred a focus on that rather than add-ons.

Treatment Experience:
Numbing cream was applied properly, and I felt it working quickly. The 30-minute wait was fine, and I was relaxed. The fibroblast treatment itself was generally okay — though I noticed that the “spectacle-style” dot pattern she used wasn’t what I had seen during my research. She said it was tailored to my specific needs, which I understand, but the pattern was also slightly uneven between both eyes, even though my eyes were fairly symmetrical to begin with.

Additionally, there was no pre-marking or mapping of the area — it seemed to be done by eye in the moment. I believe marking the treatment zones more precisely beforehand would improve accuracy and boost client confidence. Two issues I wasn’t pleased about: some of my eyelashes were singed by the plasma pen — this really shouldn’t happen and shows a lack of care in protecting delicate areas. Also, the plasma pen cut out a few times, which disrupted the flow of treatment — equipment should be in perfect working condition.

Overall Impression:
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t great either. I appreciated Diana’s cautious approach and her friendly manner, but communication could be improved, as well as precision in treatment technique and setup. I’m holding off on judging results until I’ve fully healed — I’ll post a follow-up in a few weeks with how the outcome looks.

Regarding your arrival at the studio, please note that we do not have a staffed reception area upstairs, as this space is separate from the downstairs where our aesthetic consultants are based. However, we send detailed instructions linked to your confirmation emails, as well as via WhatsApp and email the evening before your appointment. These stare, "when you arrive, please proceed downstairs, take a seat in the waiting area, and you will be collected at your appointment time."

In relation to staff changes, we typically only make adjustments due to sickness, annual leave, or specific leave requests. We always aim to assign a like-for-like consultant to ensure consistency in your care.

Concerning the treatment you received, I understand why your consultant chose not to proceed with the HIFU and chin reduction. This decision was likely influenced by your previous treatments and the plasma area, which can affect treatment options in that region. While alternative treatments are considered when possible, certain procedures like plasma treatments can be challenging to modify due to their nature.

To address the concerns about the HIFU and to support your aesthetic goals, I am happy to book you in for a radio frequency facial treatment to offset the HIFU and chin treatment you did not have. You can contact us via WhatsApp Business—our conversation has already begun, and I will assist in arranging this.

Regarding aftercare, we clearly outline that after-care is an essential component of all non-surgical treatments on our website. Our clinic team emphasises the importance of following after-care instructions, not only for optimal results but also to support the scientific benefits of the products used, such as hyaluronic acid and matrixyl components. While we strongly recommend adhering to these protocols, the decision ultimately lies with the individual.

As for the plasma treatment, I would like to clarify that the treatment involves working along the natural contours of the face. It is not a symmetrical, linear process but tailored to each person's unique anatomy. The placement of plasma dots may appear randomly and uneven initially, as the procedure aims to target fine lines and wrinkles along their natural patterns. During treatment, some areas may require more plasma than others, depending on the need for collagen stimulation and the condition of the skin.

Pre-marking is generally not used for plasma treatments, as the focus is on working along the natural gradient of the fine lines rather than creating perfect symmetry.

We apologise for the issue with some eyelashes being affected; this can occur when working close to the eyes due to heat build up. We are working with our suppliers to find a solution to minimise this risk in future treatments.

Should there be any areas requiring remedial work following the initial treatment, please feel free to reach out on WhatsApp. We are committed to achieving the best results for our clients, and we can schedule follow-up treatments as needed. I recommend contacting us again in approximately 6 to 8 weeks so we can monitor your healing process and address any remaining concerns.

Frustrating and Rushed Experience

The staff were polite, but the overall experience was disappointing. I tried calling several times on different days to reschedule, but no one answered. Only after I said I would leave negative feedback did someone finally call me back.

The website didn’t work for rescheduling either. On the day of treatment, I arrived at 1:00 PM and waited, but the machine wasn’t working until 1:25 PM. Then I was told the session was over at 1:40 — even though it was supposed to last over 30 minutes. It felt rushed and unprofessional.

Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this clinic.

Our support team is available Monday through Saturday, from 9 am to 6 pm, and this channel is primarily used to assist clients with appointment rescheduling, especially since our consultation lines can become quite busy.

Additionally, we work with a professional booking system that allows you to create a profile, making it very easy to modify appointments outside of the 48-hour rescheduling window. We are keen to understand the specific issues you faced, and we are more than happy to discuss this further to determine if there is an aspect of our system that may require improvement.

Regarding the appointment itself, as explained to you, there was an issue with a cartridge required for your treatment. Please rest assured, all our clinics keep backup stock for such situations, and we successfully rectified this issue promptly. Since then, we have made multiple attempts to reach you, including phone calls and a message from our senior manager via WhatsApp Business, to discuss your concerns and offer resolution.

Furthermore, as a gesture of goodwill, we offered to rebook you for your second treatment completely free of charge due to the delay caused by this incident. I went to the Nottingham clinic on…

I went to the Nottingham clinic on collage Street a minute walk from the playhouse . The clinic was very clean . The treatment was done by Heather. I had HIFU treatment on my face, neck, chest , arms , and upper legs . I wanted to wait a few weeks to write this review . I can start to see a difference in my skin already the fine lines look less noticeable on my face , neck and chest. I will go back for a second treatment on my arms and legs because my skin is more saggy on these areas . I can see an improvement on my skin texture . The treatment it self was pain level 4 meaning 1 is not painful and 10 painful . I was always informed when the carriage was changed and might feel the treatment at times . After treatment was given advice on aftercare.. I am pleased with the results I’m seeing so far after a few weeks.

Fabulous Gemma and Excellent customer service

I had my appointment today with Gemma at Portman Square branch in London, I was delayed so I informed their online receptionist who are very accomodating, due to central line not working so I had to travel by bus and another tube line.
When I got to Portman square branch as always Gemma was very polite she give me time to chill and had offer me some water. Gemma was so gentle with all my treatment as she is very familiar that I am very sensentive, she always reassure me and tried to talk to me about the treatment involve.I always enjoyed my treatment with Gemma she is very polite, gentle and accomodating and I have a very good rapport with her. I will never ever go to a Therapist -Gemma you simply the Best. No Gemma no treatment for me. Look after Gemma she is a Gem.

Thank you Vivo, Gemma and reception team for today’s service will be back in 6 month time as I have completed all my treatment to date. Be sure Gemma is their waiting for me.

Isabel was amazing while doing my HIFU…

Isabel was amazing while doing my HIFU facial and neck. She kept me updated at every stage of the process, addressed any concerns and worries, asked each time before increasing the machine and put me at ease. I will be going back for follow up treatment in 6 weeks time.

Had appointment with Isobel for fat freezing treatment .
She was professional and polite and very friendly .
Explained what the treatment was , what to expect.
The clinic was very clean and hygienic .
