My worst ever experience with Voltas AC – a total failure even during warranty! 😡❄️

I bought a Voltas AC trusting their brand and warranty period. But guess what? Within 1-2 years, the AC stopped working properly.

I immediately raised a complaint under warranty. The Voltas team came, looked at it… but NEVER fixed the issue. Multiple visits, no resolution.

And now? They are asking for MORE MONEY for a replacement! 😠

If your AC’s actual life is just 1-2 years, why do you even give a longer warranty? Just to fool customers?

Shame on you, Voltas!

Voltas service is worst in the world . There is no value of customers to them . I prefer you all not to buy any voltas product . Service and product both are rotten egg .

pathetic service of voltas air condition and unprofessional technician was sent for installtion, also asked for extra money for his work and 4core wire was also stolen by him and used some loose wires for indoor and outdoor connection.

Please select technicians with proper qualification and experience. They even don't know what the real problem or how to solve it.
Customer care staffs are too busy, so that they can't have the time to pick up the calls from the customers.
I registered a complaint on 19 June 2025, till now there is no progress from the company side. We call the customer care... No one take the calls. If any one attend call the don't have any proper answers. Always making useless excuses. Please don't buy any products from voltas. All you get easily from voltas is insult.

This is to inform you that,I purchased a Voltas 183V Elite Marvel A/C from Croma on 31 Many 2025. They gave me an old outdoor unit, and additionally, upon installation, I discovered that an old version model was provided to me (outdoor & indoor unit). I informed Voltas and Croma about this, but neither of them resolved the issue (I had to make repeated calls; they were not attending my calls), and I didn't get it exchange from Ghobunder Kailash Nagar, 400607. Croma service managers don't even know how to talk with customers;she is a very downmarket girls & unprofessional (Riya Shinde, service manager, and Sachin More employee, Ghobunder Croma location), and other employees are very unprofessional.My registered mobile no.9920796479 and my order ID : SOA175371117012

Avoid buying from Voltas website! I ordered a product via Voltas.com (Order #14877) and received it in a damaged condition, which was confirmed by their service engineer. Despite raising a complaint on 15th May, I’m still waiting for a resolution — it’s now been over 18 days.

Customer support gave false promises of a reverse pickup and refund, but nothing has been done. I even wrote to their COO’s official email, which went completely unanswered. It’s shocking how a brand like Voltas can ignore customers so blatantly.

This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I will never recommend buying from Voltas online. Their system is broken, and customer emails are clearly not taken seriously.

Think twice before placing an order on Voltas.com.

Poorest of the poor. The service person for installment was rude, irresponsible and horrible. Left the installation incomplete and promised to come next day to complete it. But did not turn up. Called multiple time but the reply from him was extremely frustrating. He said he will come only if he had work in the area or we have to wait for days till he comes to our area. With no options left we hired local technician to complete the installation.

Note: we purchased voltas ac 1.5 ton from Darling outlet in kalpakam. They were also irresponsible and were not committed to solve our problem.

Voltas service was a total waste. Never purchase voltas. Else u will suffer with poorest customer service.

We bought Voltas inverter A/c 4 months before from saravana store, chennai (May 2024). From the first week itself it is not working properly. we have raised complaint 4 times in 3 times. Till now they have not solved the problem. even now the AC is not in a working condition. The service they provide is very very bad. The service people are not worth to give service instead very rude and not fixing the problem. In this 4 months more than 2 months the AC has not worked. Please don't buy this brand AC. Not at all worth. Total waste of money.

I can at best term the quality of service of their products as PATHETIC. This is a very mild term as inspite of writing / attempting to contact their service center as well as service manager in Hyderabad we get acknowledge but not service nor response. Try to escalate and the senior management's is not available. Even GOD cannot save customers of Voltas AC. BEWARE POTENTIAL BUYERS STAY AWAY EVEN IF THEIR PRODUCT GET OFFERED FREE. Hello Sir Voltas Ac 1.5 Not Good Product. I am writing to report an issue with my Voltas air conditioner, specifically related to the swing mechanism. The unit has been producing an unusual noise during operation, which seems to be coming from the swing mechanism.

I am extremely disappointed with Tata Voltas. We purchased an AC last year, and just after one year, it started malfunctioning. For the past 22 days, we have been suffering without a solution. The so-called customer support team is a joke. They just copy-paste the same format in their responses, offering no real support or resolution.

As a Library, Our students’s studies are being severely impacted, and this disruption has also affected our business. We trusted Tata Voltas, believing in the nationalism and to choose "Made in India" products, but this "vocal for local" idea was a mistake.

The product is cheaply made and unreliable. Our trust in Tata Voltas has been shattered. I regret not choosing a more reliable brand like Samsung. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
