VRAI - Los Angeles Avis 15

I bought a platinum ring from VRAI in early 2020 that recently warped (in 2026). They claimed it was normal wear and tear so I paid out of pocket for a repair in January. I got it back in late February and the ring bent again in the exact same spot within two weeks of normal daily wear. I do not wear it to the gym or do heavy lifting.

When I sent it back they refused to stand by their work. Instead of properly reinforcing the weakened platinum during the first repair they clearly just bent it back into shape. Now customer service wants to charge me another $85 for the exact same temporary fix.

Their lifetime warranty has too many loopholes and their paid repairs are inadequate. Save your money and take your ring to a local jeweler who will actually fix the metal permanently instead of trapping you in a cycle of repair fees.

Working with Elan was an absolute delight! He helped me choose the perfect diamond for my everyday necklace. Highly recommend visiting this LA location as they offer a wide variety of selections in-store.

It seems like based on the reviews here, it heavily depends on the VRAI rep you work with. Christopher Mossman has gone overboard in helping get an engagement ring for my fiancé. He helped so much that I thought he took commission, but he doesn't. He has a lot of passion, and I commend him for that. The diamond I bought was the best quality I've seen compared to many other jewelers that I've shopped around with.

We had the pleasure of working with Paris Jackson-Harris. She was very nice, professional and accommodating. We are on the west coast and she zoomed with us (east coast time) which was very late for her. She picked a diamond for me that I love.

I originally turned to VRAI to shop for an engagement ring for my fiancée. I made the mistake of ordering the ring size based on our rough estimates, and our estimated size turned out to be completely off. I told VRAI that I ordered the wrong size, but I really liked the diamond I picked out, so I asked if there was any way we could re-make the ring with the same diamond. They remade it for me completely free of charge.

Because of that positive experience, I went back to VRAI to purchase wedding bands. We knew the general style we wanted, but we decided to go in person to try on different sizes and thicknesses to see what worked. Elan was incredibly kind and helpful. I knew absolutely nothing about jewelry and had never worn a ring in my life, and Elan answered all my questions and helped me find one that went with the natural shape of my hand. My fiancée was super happy as well and found a wedding band that complimented the engagement ring.
