Very odd descriptions for some jackets and when you contact them to clarify... nothing!
Oh well, just as well they have PLENTY of competition!

I ordered a coat, and they sent be the wrong size. He finally sent a label for shipping, and it had been about a week to arrange this with the slow response time. I am so disappointed. The person to contact me was "Saifur". I will NEVER order from them again. The customer service is terrible.

This seller cancelled my order right after I purchased it, then raised the price and relisted the exact same item. When I contacted them, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. The whole experience makes me doubt whether the product is even genuine. They also operate on Amazon, which is where this happened, and the behaviour was the same — sudden cancellation, price hike, and poor communication. I’ll be buying directly from the official Harris Tweed website rather than dealing with sellers who play pricing games and act like scammers.

I just received a pair of polarised sun glasses from these scammers, I waited 3 weeks and wasted £20.
They are not polarised and would not should my eyes from normal light let alone sun light.
I should have read the TP reviews but instead read the ones onW&H site. All lies!

I purchased the Men’s Explorer Waxed Jacket after seeing it for awhile and me doing some research as this would be my first waxed cotton jacket and I wanted to understand how to wear and care for it. After looking at Barbour and finding a similar jacket, the International Motorcycle Jacket, to be like 3 times the price I decided to give this one a serious look.

I’m a guy who’s losing weight(165lbs since 2019) and while I still have about 70lbs to go- I wanted a jacket but was not going to spend so much if next year it wouldn’t fit. I have a YouTube channel dedicated to my own Sartorial Journey, where I review clothing, shoes, watches, jackets and more for men who are like myself and who want to dress intentionally and with classic style for a budget. I will definitely be reviewing this jacket as I just got it today and right out of the bag it’s a very quality garment. My initial thoughts are that it’s comparable to the Barbour as I’ve seen one in a store and tried it on.

Walker & Hawkes were responsive as I did have questions, my jacket arrived in New York in about 5 days and the price was fantastic for the quality of jacket I recieved. I will be reviewing this with a week or two so check it out @stevesartorialjournal on YouTube.com

I’m yet to receive my refund and I’m now being completely ignored by customer services!!!

Dont buy from this absolute con site, unless you want overpriced wholesale rubbish of the poorest quality that can't even get their sizing right. Then send you half dozen emails offering you discounts on what youve bought when you look to return. Then 2 weeks later no refund and no response to your emails there a complete con outfit you will be robbed! Avoid at all costs!

Wanted tweed Gillet with matching Cap, looked across a few companies but was spoilt for choice at Walker and Hawkes. Great range of colours and matching accessories.
Cant fault the transaction from start to finish - will definitely use again.

Bought a jacket on 01/01/2026 two weeks later I still have no jacket, no contact from the company at all and only an automated delivery update. I've had to do a charge back on my credit card, absolutely horrendous company to deal with.

I've had my coat for maybe a year and only wear it in the winter months ( Dec -March were i live in the US.) The zipper broke last year and I had to have it fixed and now one of the buttons has one off.

Bought a women’s gilet, loved it! I have since ordered another coat directly from their website.
Only comment is the packing, would be great if it came without the plastic and maybe in a box.
But aside from that it’s great quality and I love wearing it.

If you want to buy a decent wax cotton jacket, then don’t buy one from this company! They are absolute rip-off merchants. I paid £90 for a cotton wax jacket and when it arrived the quality was disappointing. The fit is also absolutely appalling, with baggy sleeves and the length being quite short. It made me feel like the Michelin man wearing it. I think that a bin bag would be a better fit than anything that this sorry excuse for a company manufactures, and it would be cheaper! Seriously, £90 for such an abomination is an absolute crime and the owner of this company should apologise to the British clothing industry for being so hopeless at fulfilling the very purpose that it claims to serve. Walker and Hawkes should stop referring to themselves as an authentic British clothing company when they fail miserably at creating decent clothes that are obscenely overpriced. It is an insult to any trademark British clothing company out there. The belt buckle on the jacket already broke after a few wears and the overall jacket just feels cheaply made. When I raised this with them they only offered to resend another jacket, but I would rather have my money back as the quality is absolutely abhorrent. Avoid this place at all costs!

I have purchased another wax cotton via Amazon from this company and honestly feel that they must send seconds to the Amazon warehouse for distribution, as I have had three coats in succession from this company, and all have but one been returned due to a fault with the zip, as they keep jamming. The last jacket I bought, I had to literally peel myself out of it when the zipper got stuck yet again. Inferior and not what I expected from an Established English outlet. Poor quality and rubbish customer service as they didn't even offer to repair the zipper. Unless you can afford to waste your money I'd buy from another supplier.

I have just received my second mens hawthorn wax jacket. I have had one in brown for a while now, and love it. I have now got one in black, they are British made and of excellent quality. I cannot rate them too highly, speedy delivery, excellent quality and keenly priced. Keep the wax coating in good condition and they will last for years.

I ordered a ladies waxed hat from this company. It arrived two days later. Very well packaged with a lovely personalised note thanking me for my order. The hat fits perfectly & is very good quality. Happy to recommend them & will order from them again. Thank you.

Purchased Jan 2025 Jack Murphy Erin Long Waterproof Riding Coat.
Whilst the quality of the coat is excellent the zip however is not. I have worn daily since I received it, sadly the zip is not 'up to the job' now takes many attempts to 'do it up' extremely frustrating!!!
The pockets need a 2nd diagonal 'easy access' pocket.

Habe mir die Benson Wachsjacke bestellt und dies war ein großer Fehler. Die Ja je hat sich zuerst zwar gut angefühlt und getragen, jedoch sind bereits nach einem Tag die Nähte in den Taschen aufgegangen. Zudem besteht die Jacke anders als auf der Website und bei Amazon beschrieben nicht aus 100% Baumwolle sondern hat ein Futter aus Polyester und Taschen die sich von innen Anfühlen wie Plastik.

I’ve had 2 mens waxed gilets and worn them every day for about 3 years, been excellent.

An packaging error meant that the wrong size waistcoat was delivered, this was returned at W and H's cost. The correct item was sent after the original one was returned at W and H's cost. They have a returns centre here in France which made the process simple. Also worth noting that items delivered to France are free of post-brexit import charges and delivery is within days. There was a communications glitch but the matter is resolved. Cannot fault the quality of the garments that I (and my wife) have purchased from them.
