Ordered a service, confirmed payment was coming, then refused to pay
Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience working with WAM.
Their representative contacted us regarding a guest post placement on Ranktracker.com. A price of $200 was agreed, they supplied the article and instructed us to publish it and send the invoice.
The article was published as requested.
After we followed up regarding the outstanding invoice, we were told:
“We are working on it. We'll make the payment soon. Thanks for waiting.”
Despite this, they later changed their position and asked us to cancel the invoice and remove the article because their manager had rejected the publication.
From our perspective, this is unacceptable. The work had already been requested, completed and published, and we had even received confirmation that payment was being arranged.
We gave multiple opportunities and extensions for the $200 invoice to be settled.
We are posting this review to warn other publishers and website owners to be extremely careful. Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend requiring 100% payment upfront before publishing any content for WAM.
