Washtower® is a family-run company established in the Netherlands in 2017. What began as an idea to design a cupboard that would mean no more bending while doing the laundry, developed into an innovative modular cupboard system for the complete furnishing of a laundry room, bathroom or utility room. This was clearly a gap in the market because only five years after launching our business, our team of four has grown to 39 colleagues and we now sell our cupboards in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, England, France and Scandinavia. We hope to soon enter the American markets as well. We want our customers to consider it a joy to do the laundry. That is why we prioritise service and quality. We always make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied. To guarantee safety, we have had our cupboards tested extensively by the German TÜV Rheinland. Washtower® sells the first TÜV-certified washing machine cupboard in Europe, which makes us really proud!

Really good quality components
Really good quality components. Easy to build your setup on line. However not typical U.K. units as they come from Netherlands. So the base is very low and no option to have a plinth at base. Back panels are really low so any skirting boards will need to be cut or units won’t sit flush against wall. Also on when designing on line you get the impression that all units will be at the same height but they are not so won’t have level height. Units above the sink are too long so very little gap above sink. Had to have a small tap to make it fit.

Because the cabinets should be the same hight. One tip I could give you already: the cabinets should line up on top, and not on the bottom. That might fix the issue! 1/ Quality only satisfactory, especially veneers which easily scratch
2/ washing machine will not function off the floor due to lack of water pressure which undermines the whole raison d’etre. Hoping a plumber can help as water pressure in our house is generally excellent.
3/ Tall units unstable and during assembly.
Would I purchase again ‘No’. What started as a space saving exercise has backfired on us. We currently have a chest freezer housed where the machine was supposed to be, which was hardly the plan.
We also had initial delivery issues which took eight days to resolve.
Overall I am very disappointed.

Just finished installing the Washtower tumble dryer/washing machine combo unit. Very clear and easy to follow instructions for putting together. Once built it is very sturdy. From ordering to delivery was very smooth and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this company.
