Weather Spares after sales service is excellent
I bought an Ecowitt Weather Station in Jan 2025 and all went well. In June 2026 the rain meter started wildly over-reading. I posted a question on the EcoWitt Facebook group asking for advice. I received a few responses from other users, but also one from Weatherspares letting me know that they had sent me an email regarding this. As it had a two-year guarantee they offered me to send the unit back to them to have the sensor replaced and the software updated, or they could send me a new sensor for me to change. I chose the latter as the instructions were very straightforward. The next day I received the new sensor, and after waiting for a dry spell, the sensor was changed, the software updated and back in situ, working well.

Very speedy resolution of my problem
Very speedy resolution of my problem, after initial communication difficulties.
My failed Davis fan was speedily replaced, and my station is working once again.

Helpful advice, good service -- up to a point
I have had good experiences with this company - helpful and knowledgeable. I bought a reasonable amount of very good Ecowitt weather equipment from then and it has been accurate and reliable -- with one exception. They sold me a duff rain gauge which ate batteries because there was a fault. It was known that there was a faulty batch -- and my rain gauge was among them. Instead of offering a replacement for the faulty item, which was out of guarantee, they offered me a replacement at reduced cost. It really spoiled things for me to be honest. I'm still smarting!
