Joe was a pleasure to deal with. We spoke in the morning, lined up the appointment and when I arrived he was pleasant, honest and explained to me the process. I could tell he was thorough in his test and pictures of my car.
We had a little back and forth over the offer but Joe kept me updated on what was happening (emailing dealers I reckon). Everything was very professional. Wrapped up the paperwork. 75-90 minutes tops. 100% recommend.

The process was good and easy
The process was good and easy. I felt like I had to be on my toes for two reasons. First, the car wouldn't start, and it was immediately assumed there was a significant issue, even though it was only a loose wire. If I didn't have mechanical experience, I think they would have taken advantage of me. The initial offer was also 20% of what I walked out with, so again, you need to know the worth of your car. Within reason of course, and do not expect to get the online quote unless the car is in perfect condition. The process also took about 2 hours, which I was not expecting. That may be because it was a newer person. Overall, I would highly recommend We Buy Any Car.

Ridding myself of a tesla
My appt was at 3pm. I had gotten a quote 2 weeks prior and was delighted they still honored that amount with the tesla company tanking. I was back home by 6 with a check in hand. Joe Mancini was nice, respectful, competent, and gave me all he could for the car.

We dealt with Christian Wallace at Kirkwood Hwy branch. He was excellent! Greated us immediately with a smile and made us feel welcome! We got the feeling right away that we chose the right Company. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions and even alerted us as to other helpful items that we hadn’t thought about. He was very knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and very courteous. Not a doubt was left in our minds that we made the right decision to sell because of Mr. Wallace. We will recommend your company to anyone interested in selling their car. We would only hope they could find such a fine manager as Christian Wallace!

Peace of mind
Excellent way to sell your car. The whole process from arriving at their location to having the payment was about an hour. The offer is very reasonable and the paperwork and documents are handled by them.

I had an awful experience with this car…
I had an awful experience with this car buyer. They gave me a very low price for my car and misled me about various codes on it. Unfortunately, since I was moving out of Delaware, I didn’t have time to go elsewhere. I felt taken advantage of and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Stay away from these guys. Be careful and shop around before selling your car!

I see that when you valued the car on our website on 12/5/2024, you were aware that the car had been totaled in an accident and had a salvage title. Because of the problematic history, we gave an estimated valuation of $200. In reality, you walked away with a check for $700 so we'd really like to understand how you were taken advantage of.
There were active engine codes on the Chevy. This is why your check engine light was illuminated. The check engine light was active for 181 miles before our inspection and trouble codes were cleared 314 miles before. You came in with this car in December and we made you aware of these codes then, but to confirm, the car had these active faults when we ran diagnostics on 2/15/2025:
P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1
P2271 O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Rich Bank 1 Sensor 2
Our team is unable to fabricate an OBD2 diagnostic report. This is a standard diagnostic tool used by any mechanic and shows why the check engine light was on. We are happy to provide you with a copy of the report to prove the honesty and integrity of our team.
As you are aware, we operate a zero pressure policy. The decision to sell is always left to the customer. You chose not to accept our offer when you visited us in December. It was a great offer and you will not have had a higher offer elsewhere. We're thankful that you came back to sell the car in February and we'd love to know how our team failed you so we can make it right.
