I am appalled at how you cannot talk to anyone on the telephone, their message tells you that you have to email stating personnel details. A Will is a very personal and important document, l have requested a call back giving 3 different times and days they are able to contact me. I have received an email to say they are unavailable to contact me on any of the days or the times.(the times i have requested are during working office hours 9-5pm) l have now requested anyone to ring me and will await the next email to say they are unavailable !

Left 3 voicemail messages to request my mother’s will. No one ever answers or gets back to you!
It’s very upsetting and frustrating given the situation and circumstances.

I have dealt with a lady called Sam today regarding updatements on my will, she was the best person I could have spoken to, kind, professional, sympathetic and really put an end to my fears and worrys, as a sufferer of bad mental health, I cannot recommend her highly enough,

I needed to update my Will after being with Welcare Guardian for a couple of years. The process took quite some time but the Will is now updated. Sam at Welcare Guardian is patient and understanding and helped me to understand the timelines more clearly, which I appreciated. Sam is a credit to Welcare Guardian. Recommended as a Will provider and storage resource. Thank you

Utter disgrace.
People on the phone are rude. The staff ring you from mobile phones and then wonder why people don’t answer their calls.
They came to house to write a will and now said it’s void.
It seems the guy who completed the will with us at the house, didn’t know what he was doing. They told me to get legal advice and hung the phone up on me.

THIS COMPANY ROBS PEOPLE Wtf taking money out of my account for years and didn't know

5 years on and this company are STILL taking standing orders from my bank account. These standing orders are not listed on my account, I am unable to remove them. I have contacted my bank AGAIN to investigate. Spoken to the legal firm storing my will, who took over from another legal firm who went under during lockdown. They have nothing to do with Welcare Guardian Assist and have said no payment is linked to them. Do NOT use this company.

Many years ago my Father in Law wrote his will using Welcare Guardian. He stored it with them and gave me the copy. When he sadly passed in February I , as the executor was left with the task of retrieving documents. My first call was to the bank to get the deeds to his property. Actually getting to speak to a person was the first challenge and to be honest it’s been a very traumatic process culminating in them saying they are not sure they can even find them! At this point I held out little hope of ever finding the will. I phoned the lady who had visited Dad at home and all these years later she answered the phone and was still working for the company. She gave me the client care line number . It was an answering machine, I thought here we go again! There was a promise to call me back within 48 hours, and yes they did. I had to prove I was the executor. I was then talked through the very simple process of retrieval and assured they had the will. Once they received my letter and proof of identity the will was sent to me by recorded delivery. What a relief it was to have the will and be able to start the probate process. As I’m always the first to complain when things go wrong I feel you should also give praise when it’s due. The bank I’m afraid don’t come off so well!

Extremely professional friendly helpful and knowledgeable. My will was sorted in a matter of weeks. I had to make contact to correct one small error and this was done in days. Issues with payment created by my bank not welcare guardian who have worked with me to resolve the the issue in a a very timely manor. I have the peace of mind My will is now sorted and is being sorted safely. I have been kept up todate the whole way through throughly recommend

These dishonest folk kept taking my money for 2 years despite the law firm holding my will was closed down for dishonest practice. Only found out today so not happy. Have cancelled the DD & emailed the scammers. Also have a number to call to retrieve my will.
NO ONE INFORMED ME OF THE CLOSURE.
Welcare guardian nothing but SCAMMERS.
I got a form from them with the words "if we can find your will" on it. Says a lot. David Meakin is a director of Welcare Guardian. I have sent a few choice emails but I hold zero hope in these clowns.

Be aware they're SCAMERS.
I had will testament with them, we're I paid by standing order £28.98.
Once I call them to discuss my will, but refuse to respond.

So lucky I have seen this recently.
I have left feedback to Macmillan Cancer Support today as this needs to be addressed.
I have asked them to look into the reviews on here regarding Welcare Guardian.

Let’s hope they actually take notice of exactly who they are using as clearly there are some shocking experiences here.

Why on earth are they using a premium rate number if it’s not to charge the customer much more.

Scary if you can’t get hold of your documents when you need them.

I do hope everyone can get guidance from their banks regarding payments going out and look closely at all wording being signed and also what happens if a company folds.

I had read the Government do a scheme where you can store your will for around £30.

I have recently got power of attorney for my mother. She is elderly and not too good with money. I went on her bank account and in standing orders there was this so called solicitors taking £23.98 out of her account. I rang which cost me £4.80 on their extortionate number about the payments and he said he was on reception and will get the solicitor to ring me back. I am sure the receptionist was a so called solicitor. I have now cancelled the standing order. They are praying on the elderly. WARNING keep away from them. They are not SRA regulated. Use a local solicitor it's safer.

I recently found that this Company had organised a Standing Order on my Bank for £23.98 for 23/1/25. I had no idea about this and did not agree to this as I advised them I was not going to do my Will with them, but chose a local Solicitor over 2 years ago. I advise to stay away from this Company.

WARNING! They charge premium rate number and are very slow in responding. Furthermore, I asked for an amendment to my will having agreed to pay the annual subscription and got charged an additional £30 to make a change - but when it came back the changes had spelling errors, so more delays. If you want aomething done urgently dont bother. Customer experience so far is very bad!

I phoned Welcare Guardian one week ago to ask for someone to phone me about updating my Will. I was told that I would receive a phone call within 48 hours. A week later, I have still had no phone call despite phoning them again request this. During my last call, I was cut off and now (when I use my usual mobile phone) it repeatedly will not call the number for Welcare Guardian... they seem to have blocked my phone number!!!!!!!! These are the people who I trusted to have my Will written!!!!

Positive experience and expert guidance offered throughout the whole process. Welcareguardian came highly recommended and I recommend you use their services.

I recently decided it was time to review my Will. I emailed Welcare Guardian at the email address given on my documentation, which was completed in 2021. My email bounced back, saying the domain could not be found. I then discovered that the solicitors holding my Will (Cheshire Law Associates) had ceased trading. Then I found the bad Trustpilot reviews that precede mine. At first I was horrified and thought I'd been scammed. I then did a bit more research and found that Cheshire Law Associates had been closed by the Solicitors' Regulation Authority and Stephensons Solicitors had been appointed to keep clients' files safe. This is not the fault of Welcare Guardian. I sent an email to Stephensons Solicitors and received a quick reply providing me with contact details for Welcare Guardian. In the meantime, I also found a contact form to contact The Goodwill Partnership, who Welcare Guardian administer for (there was also a non-premium telephone number provided). I submitted the contact form this morning and received a call from Sam at Welcare Guardian around midday. Sam explained to me that they have had a bad time with the closure of Cheshire Law Associates. She confirmed that even if this firm of solicitors began trading again, they would never use them again. She explained that unfortunately the email address I had tried to use was an old one. Finally, she confirmed that my Will is still valid, is now being held by them and they can arrange any updates for me. As I was busy at the time, Sam agreed to send an email about this, which I received shortly afterwards. People have been quick to criticise Welcare Guardian without doing their research. Don't be too quick to dismiss them. My concerns have been allayed and I am happy to continue using their services.

Like other reviewers, I've had the misfortune of being forced to use these muppets after choosing a will through the Goodwill Partnership.

Received a letter saying that they had received our wills and were storing them - I had no idea who this company was and when calling the number to find out had a 15 minute conversation with someone - ONLY to be told they were a messaging service and someone else would try and call back within 48 hours...!

And then discovered I was charged £4.75 as the number was PREMIUM RATE.

Absolutely scandalous.

I would give them 0 stars if I could . Do not have you wills written by these people. My partner had our wills written but after being told that the changes I wanted to my will were not possible and I was told to go elsewhere. I have been trying to get our original wills back but they do not respond or promised phone calls are not made. To add insult to injury they want £30 for the privilege of sending us our badly not fit for purpose wills. There number is a premium number which I found out to my cost of £14.
