Just received ours. Nice bed. However, the communication is rubbish and that's me being polite. First we knew it was arriving was a message via whatsapp saying this is the Courier at 8.30pm saying our bed would arrive the next day between 11am - 3pm. This is no good when you work

A very difficult experience where the bed I ordered was not the bed delivered. Lots of differences and poor workmanship. After a lot of email and texting eventually they agreed to collect the bed and refund. This was if I remove the previous review. Personally I would steer well clear!

My honest review of We Make Beds

I’ve been following this company on social media for a couple of years. Over a year ago, I first contacted them via WhatsApp, as this appeared to be their preferred method of communication. At the time, I was looking at a bed and ordered some fabric samples. They were informative, helpful and responded straight away.

Fast forward a year and I decided to order a bed.

I placed my order in mid-July 2026 and paid over £2,000 via PayPal on a 3-instalment payment plan.

Once the order was placed, however, the experience completely changed. My order remained showing as “processing” on the website, with no further information or indication of when I could expect delivery.

I tried contacting the company repeatedly through WhatsApp, their landline, mobile number and email, simply to get an update on my order. I received no response for around three weeks.

At that point, I genuinely became concerned that I had been scammed, so I opened a complaint through PayPal.

A few hours later, at around 10pm on a Saturday night, I received a WhatsApp message asking why I had complained through PayPal and asking me to cancel the complaint. I explained that I had been trying to contact them for three weeks and had received no response.

I was told that people had been away, which was apparently the reason nobody had responded to my messages. I was then told the bed would take another three weeks.

I subsequently received another message, again late at night, saying the bed could be delivered the following week on either the Wednesday or Saturday. I agreed to the Wednesday delivery.

On the Wednesday, I received a message saying the bed would arrive between 8pm and midnight. Later that evening, I was told the delivery van had broken down and the bed would instead arrive the following day between 6pm and midnight.

Thankfully, the bed did actually arrive on the Thursday.

Unfortunately, when it arrived, there was a rip in the fabric on the corner/lid of the TV bed. The delivery men saw the damage and took photographs, and I also immediately sent photographs to We Make Beds via WhatsApp.

I was told that the damaged lid would be replaced straight away.

That was on 26th August.

Today is 3rd October, and I am still waiting.

Since then, I have been given three separate assurances that the replacement would be sent/replaced “straight away”, yet nothing has happened.

This is extremely disappointing, particularly considering I paid over £2,000 for the bed.

I want to be fair and say that the bed itself is actually okay and, apart from the damaged fabric on the end/lid, I have no major issue with the product.

However, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, having to repeatedly chase for updates, the late-night messages, the delivery problems and, most importantly, being promised three times that the damaged part would be replaced when it still hasn’t been done, has completely taken away from what should have been a positive purchase.

I’m sharing this review because this has been my genuine experience. I simply want the damaged part replaced and for the company to do what I was originally promised.

I really hope We Make Beds resolve this, because the actual bed is fine — it’s the customer service and aftercare that have let the whole experience down.

I’m really pleased with my new bed from We Make Beds. From choosing my bed through to receiving it, I’m very happy with my purchase. The bed looks beautiful in my bedroom and feels sturdy, comfortable and well made.

I particularly love the gas-lift storage, which provides a great amount of additional space and makes the bed both stylish and practical. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I’m really happy with the quality for the price.

Overall, I’m very pleased with my experience and would happily recommend We Make Beds to anyone looking for a good-quality, stylish and practical bed and I look forward to purchasing again from these in the furture!👍🏼

Absolutely everything I don't have a single negative to say. Was little dubious when first ordered as not sure of quality etc but was actually blown away by how well made it was & the quality of materials used even down to the packaging. I was absolutely over the moon & highly recommend to anyone looking to buy. Delivered exactly when said they would 👍👍👍

Very good quality bed for a fraction of the price at my local bed shop. The bed was easy to design online and for only £50 extra I had it assembled too, that would have taken me hours 😆. I recommend these guys

Delivery was supposed to be 2/3 weeks but I called up explaining I didn’t have a bed as I was moving to a new house and they delivered the same week! I also forgot to claim the 10% discount this was refunded to me without no hesitation the quality is outstanding exactly how it was pictured would definitely recommend

Bed order took over a month, longer than they expected.
The bed pictures show a normal base height of '40' but then in the options it shows it as '30' of £30 to make it '40' so which is it?
There is no response to phone calls, texts or whatsapp messages even though their website makes it seem like they are easily contactable, poor communication (i.e. none) delivery was a surprise when the guys finally turned up.
The site also has 10% off offer with a countdown timer for when it ends. It never ends though, its a daily offer and goes against advertising standards rules under 'Time-Limited Offers'.

Update: after seeing my review WeMakeBeds provided a replacement part very quickly and asked I remove the review. I wish they had responded through their email/phone first rather than Trustpilot

I was pretty happy until around 6 months after buying the bed the footboard has failed and it has been impossible to speak to this company for a replacement. It is a super heavy ottoman bed and it is unacceptable that such a key piece has failed after such little time. Even more appalling the AI call centre voice and the mobile number always off. I have been trying to speak to them for 2 weeks and will have to involve my bank for fraud. Stay away

We ordered a bed from we make beds after a family member recommended them. From ordering it took a little longer than expected but was worth the wait. Bed was delivered very early and assembled by the delivery drivers. They were very polite and assembled the bed quickly. We are so pleased with the bed it looks stunning. Will definitely be ordering again with this company

I ordered a super king bed with a matching blanket box for £1,500 (€1,773), including an additional fee for delivery and assembly in Ireland.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. While carrying the bed upstairs, the delivery team badly scratched and dirtied our walls, even leaving a large black handprint behind.

They also forgot to deliver the mattress. I notified both the delivery team and WeMakeBeds via WhatsApp. They acknowledged the mistake and apologized, but after that they stopped responding to my messages asking when the mattress would be delivered.

A week later, I contacted them again and was told the mattress would arrive the next day between 6:00 and 10:00 a.m. I also received a confirmation from the delivery driver. I replied to explain that we would both be at work and asked if they could either deliver the following day or before 7:00 a.m. I received no response.

The next day, while I was at work, I got a phone call informing me that they had left the mattress outside my front door. When I reminded them that I had already said I wouldn’t be home, I was told the driver was “just the delivery man” and that if it wasn’t delivered that day, it would be another week before they could try again. I had no real choice but to accept this. I then had to ask a friend to move the mattress inside the house, and later I had to carry it upstairs to the bedroom myself—even though this should have been included as part of the delivery and assembly service.

The mattress arrived wrapped in plastic, but the packaging was torn in several places and the exposed areas of the mattress were dirty.

The bed itself is very nice, but when I compared it with the photos on their website, I noticed it isn’t exactly the same as the one advertised. It’s similar, but the bed and blanket box shown in the photos appear to have more padding and more luxurious detailing.

After all the hassle with the missing mattress, poor communication, and lack of customer service, I didn’t even bother contacting them about the difference between the advertised bed and the one we received.

I’m giving 3 stars because the bed and blanket box are good quality and look nice. However, the customer service, delivery experience, communication, and accuracy of the product description all need significant improvement.

We was struggling to find tv ottoman beds that would fit in our house as we have lower skilings/window seals, After looking online we came across we make beds, we decided to place an order of 5 tv ottoman beds, price was great, communication at the start was great, was left in limbo for a bit as to when the beds would be delivered, I had to pester a bit but we got there in the end we found out a couple days later after about 4 weeks after purchasing that the beds were being delivered, we're really happy with the beds, they look stunning, the men were really helpful who delivered them, we've had them a couple weeks now and all seems good, really easy to put together.
I would have given 5 stars if communication around delivered would have been better but over all I would highly recommend we make beds.

I've been getting my beds from this company for about 10 years or there's about mine my both daughters my granddaughters all beds have been absolutely beautiful even sent my own design and they maid exactly that for my daughter I would only ever get my beds from this company the owner replies to me almost immediately if I'm needing anythink he also makes sure bed is extra strong for my disabled daughter wouldn't shop anywhere else ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️ Joanne from Liverpool

m absolutely delighted with my new cannes bed. The quality is excellent and exactly as shown online. Delivery was quick, and the delivery team were incredibly respectful of both me and my home. I had shoe covers ready, but they even brought their own. They kindly carried the bed upstairs for me, which I really appreciated as I wouldn’t have been able to manage it myself. I would definitely buy from WeMakeBeds again.

Delivery was fast and as expected.
Bed in perfect condition as website described. Delivery men were helpful and pleasant. Service was 10/10
