My boy struggled with his confidence and after only 3 sessions and the support of the amazing coaches he is really enjoying his time here! He’s already improving and his confidence has grown! Player of the team this week gave him a huge boost and I’ll love watching him Saturday mornings! October half term book up too!

My son loves his weekly coaching classes. The coaches are so enthusiastic and full of energy! I love how they are with the kids and how they teach skills. Highly recommend this club to other parents.
Also great for holiday camps - my son comes back happy and exhausted, which is just perfect!

My son joined we make footballers just over a month now, and is absolutely loving it. He cannot wait for his Tuesday sessions. All the coaches are amazing and supportive to help them develop new skills. We are very happy with how my son is coming along. Thank you.

My two boys have just started with ‘we make footballers’ and I have to say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made.
The coaches are so kind, thoughful, caring and fun!
The free trials were super helpful to figure out what program was best for them & just a final note- massive shout out to coach James who goes above and beyond the extra mile. Thank you all so much!

We went today & throughly disappointed.

My son plays football at a pretty high level for his age currently training 2/3 days a week & games on 1. He wanted to have an extra day in and we wanted to find a someone or a company who will be more 1-1 or at least 3/4-1.
For this reason we choose these guys as on the site it states very clearly

They will make a 1-1 plan for your child and find the things he needs to work on for his position. Looking forward to the session all week but after turning up we instantly knew it was not what was advertised.

If you are a novice player who just wants to get into the game, this place would be brilliant. At the level of JPL & above this is really not a good place.

Advertising 1-1 and personal plans is purely just a trick to get clueless parents through the door.

At least 8 players but I’m thinking it was more like 10-12 to 1 coach. It was inside a hall and the fact so many kids of different age groups were shouting it would be impossible to coach any child properly or technically.

It’s okay to show a drill and then guide it, but not as a company who claims to be “1-1” & personal.

The Taunton branch of this company is good for average players.

If you’re trying to push your son higher by getting extra training on a 1-1 basis or small groups this is not the one.

Exeter city development centres are the by far the best I have seen. Tried a few different ones as extra training & just going to switch to a proper 1-1 coach. Was just a shame as we thought this was going to compare to his other training. But we were massively disappointed.

Rasheed has a great time at training not just learning about the game but also having fun and making friends.
Since the beginning of start of training with we make footballers I see Rasheed getting better with skills and discipline for the game. As a parent i love to see my son excelling at a sport that he enjoys.
The coaches have always been supportive and helpful in growing Rasheeds confidence and learning all aspects of football. We are very happy with the coaching and level of service we receive. I would recommend we make footballers 100%

Absolutely brilliant football club for little ones in Aberdeen ⚽️❤️ My 4-year-old absolutely loves going and can’t wait for it every week.

It’s so well organised, the staff are lovely, friendly and great with the kids. Such a fun and welcoming environment for them to learn, play football and build their confidence.

Brody has been coming now for a year and the difference in not only his ability but confidence is amazing to witness. Brody was very anxious to begin with and now he is totally up for anything. He loves to meet new players and yap the ears of the coaches. I can’t thank you enough for the patience the coaches have with him (Sam in particular) who constantly reassure him to keep going when doing tricky drills. Would recommend anyone to join as we look forward to it every week.

Honestly can't rate WeMakeFootballers high enough. My son goes to Aberdeen on Fridays. He is very very shy but the coaches are incredibly supportive of him, encouraging him and on his first day even got him out his shell to kick a ball. By week 2 he was a completely different kid, getting stuck in. The staff all calling him by name really made him feel welcome.
The actual set up is brilliantly organised, really fun and engaging for the kids. Not too busy, noisy or chaotic. Great way for the kids to learn, getting new skills learnt in a fun way.
Honestly can't rate this place enough. Great price for what your getting.

My son had a 9th Birthday with 2 coaches - It was amazing the drills, the competitiveness, everything. I paid extra for medals which was the bonus for the kids at the end....

Lovely staff

On the “lesson to try” my son didn’t know how to shoot the ball. He was jumping instead, to show his happiness because he got the ball. After the 2 weeks of summer camp, is different story. He loves to give goals 😃! He got the 3rd place on goals

Great group to welcome kids to football, Josh and the team did great. There was one black guys name also who I want to give a shoutout too but I’ve forgot his details. Highly recommend these sessions.

son has really enjoyed attending football coaching here. The coaches are friendly, patient and encouraging, and they make the sessions fun while helping the children develop their football skills and confidence. The sessions are well organised, and there is a positive, welcoming atmosphere. I would happily recommend this place to other parents looking for enjoyable and supportive football coaching for their children.

When I saw the promotion vids, I thought this looks like the place where my 6y old gets taught the basics to get ready for grassroots. The main coaches were nice and vocal, the other coaches felt to me like they were just going through the motions and clock watching.

It’s fun and welcoming which of course is a part of football, but at the end of the day, you want to see progress & engagement & sadly, my lad never learnt anything. Same drills every week not structured to match abilities. I know it’s difficult with kids but that’s just my feeling about it.

Well Managed and designed Camp for kids.

Friendly hosts and staff, very engaging and gives updates about almost everything. My Kid loves it here and can't wait to develop into a Pro. I recommend this organization to parents far and wide.

My son Arian has really enjoyed his football classes in Feltham . The coaches are friendly, patient, and great with young children. They create a fun and encouraging environment where the kids can learn new skills while building confidence. We’ve seen a big improvement in Arian’s enthusiasm and teamwork. Highly recommend this football class to any parent looking for a positive and well-organised programme for their child!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience with We Make Footballers.

My six-year-old attended the Friday evening Hammersmith sessions and also took part in their recent Skills Festival in Acton. We've tried several other football programmes and, compared with those, the coaching at We Make Footballers felt less engaged. The overall standard wasn't as high as we'd expected, particularly given the cost and the longer-term commitment required.

We were particularly unsatisfied with the Skills Festival. After a brief 10-minute warm-up, the children spent most of the session playing repeated 1v1s and 2v2s against the same one or two children. There was very little intervention, no meaningful progression throughout the session, and no real attempt to adapt the event to individual abilities.

In contrast, we've had an excellent experience with the Saturday morning sessions at Westway. The coaching is more engaging and structured, the standard of players is higher, there's no long-term commitment, and overall we've found it to be much better value.

Update: Following this review, We Make Footballers contacted me to offer a refund for the Skills Festival, which I appreciated. It was also helpful to have an open conversation about our experience, explain what we felt could have been done better, and hear their rationale for running the event in the way they do. While our original view of the event hasn't changed, I was impressed by how seriously they took the feedback and how receptive they were to hearing a parent's perspective.
