The meat appears fine but I am still awaiting a reply regarding my complaint about the bacon. A photograph has been supplied.

Could not fault the taste or quality of a very exceptional joint of beef.

Very good quality and service

I ordered sirloin steak and chicken breasts.
The steak was tasty and quite enjoyed it.
The chicken however was disappointing. I thought I'd read on the homepage that they source their meat from local suppliers, yet the packaging on the chicken said 'Romania'. So that was disappointing I'd prefer to support home grown farmers.
The chicken breasts were huge but found the texture 'not right' compared to other chicken. I just hope I can get used to it, as I have another 22 pieces in the freezer!
I did however think the packaging in the cool bag was well designed.

Very pleased with steak pack but disappointed with the 'use by' date.
Fortunately my intentions were to freeze them but if possible I would like a longer sell by date on any future meat packs I purchase.

This is the 2nd order that had not arrived on time, in fact this one did not turn up at all…..
I did appreciate that at Xmas being so busy and with poor weather conditions delays can happen. For my delivery on the 12th Feb I did not expect any issues.
Having taken a day off work to be in for the meet delivery and also get some other bits done, I was extremely annoyed that nothing turned up, the only email I did get was on the morning to say it was on its way. We were in all day Friday and Saturday.
Most disappointingly, I did not even get the offer of having my order replaced (we are only talking steak here, not some rare commodity).
For a business relying on customer service this is shocking behaviour and makes it impossible to recommend to others let alone use again myself.

Having used WG for a couple of years I must admit I'm not so impressed anymore. I placed an order for delivery between Xmas and New year and it was handled atrociously. Items were missing, packaging sub standard and prime dutch chicken migrated to Lithuania wet slimey and straight in the bin I drained of 200ml of liquid from 2.5kg of chicken. WG made good and didn't charge for the whole order which was good PR they also spoke of big shake ups internally and talks with delivery firms so I thought good on them give them another go and didn't review them to be fair.
So onto this year Feb and ordered another batch of meat, my mistake! Again sub standard packaging, long gone are the foam lined boxes all prettily adorned in the Web site images, what you now get is a bubble wrap package in a box half sealed with not half enough insulation or cool blocks for 72 hr. Mine had 2 fully defrosted ice packs and 1 left which Was half melted and that was under 24hrs. The meat itself well I paid for 28 day matured steaks both hatche and fillet. Neither said when they were buchered both were swimming in what can only be called watery blood, matured steak is not bright red or swimming in blood!! The fillet was ok but nothing great to eat but the hatche were tough and inedible. I also had lamb rump steaks, again inedible. Last not least maple cured bacon, what's this a ticket that states defrosted!!! I didn't pay for frozen defrosted meat. All in all I will never ever recommend these to anyone ever again and I will shop elsewhere myself. Shame as they used to be good.

Delivered on time. Fillet steaks between 6.3 Oz and 8.7 Oz rather than 7 to 8oz. A phone call at 7.15am was not appreciated, especially as it only told me what I already knew, that it would be delivered that day.

Well packed very good tasty meat

My recent order of fillet steak was exceptional and totally delicious. Likewise my order of osso buck veal was fantastic although two pieces of the same size (large) would be preferable, one was on the small side and fell apart during cooking. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the 16 oz sirloin steak. Will be back soon for more.

Westin Gourmet provides an excellent service with quality products and I highly recommend them. I have just one small comment, the telephone call to remind you that the delivery is due on that day always comes between 07.00 - 07.30 which is very early for a couple of retired people! Could it please be scheduled for a little later?

The steaks are excellent, ordering and paying was easy and delivery was swift and exactly as promised. Packaging and quality on receipt was first class.

The ordering was easy, the delivery straight forward and the products look good.

One item was smaller than anticipated and so not as good value as I had thought it would be ...maybe my perception was incorrect.
