Delivery and refund issues
I ordered some decking screws on a Wednesday night for a job I was planning to do that weekend. The company offered a next day delivery service, which I know I had missed by the Wednesday night but I had hoped to have received the screws by Friday, in time for my plan work. But by Saturday evening, I still hadn’t received my order. After contacting the company to complain about this, I was offered my delivery charge, which was £9, back for the inconvenience of not receiving my delivery in the time stated, but I’m still waiting for charge to be refunded, nearly two weeks later.
I won’t be using this company in the future and I would caution anyone else from doing likewise.

We would like to clarify that we dispatched your parcel on the same day you placed your order. Parcelforce has informed us that they attempted delivery on three separate occasions, but unfortunately, you were not available to receive the parcel. We have GPS data from Parcelforce to confirm the driver's presence at your location.
Please note that Parcelforce requires a signature for delivery and may not be able to leave the package with a neighbour if they are not available to sign for it. In the future, if you have specific delivery instructions or anticipate being unavailable during delivery hours, we recommend including notes with your order so we can make arrangements to accommodate your needs.
We understand that the delivery process can be frustrating, but we strive to provide excellent service to our customers. In this instance, it seems that the issue was related to the delivery attempts, which is beyond our control, our team worked diligently to process and dispatch your order promptly.

I ordered to the wrong address and We Supply Fixibgs managed to retrieve my order from the incorrect address and deliver it to the correct one quickly and without bothering me even though it was my mistake. The staff were helpful, efficient and polite. Thank you so much

I liked the statement saying next day…
I liked the statement saying next day delivery. The price was slightly more than elsewhere but having the delivery quick made up for this. Unfortunately parcel force decided to come 4 days later unannounced when we were out. Because I needed the product for a job I was doing on the Monday I had to collect from the Nottingham branch which took 1.5 hrs to do so as they couldn't redeliver until the Tuesday. I suggest you change your statement of next day delivery

Please note that over 99% of our deliveries do go out for next day delivery, and we are committed to providing prompt and reliable service. However, on this occasion, it seems that an unforeseen increase in parcels due to the bank holiday has caused a delay in the courier's delivery schedule. We understand that this was not ideal, especially since you needed the product for a specific job.
The local courier depot to you had the parcel the next day after you ordered (Wed), unfortunately the first time we knew of the delay was when you emailed at 9.54pm on Friday evening - you collected the parcel the next morning. We would have contacted the courier and would have sorted for you prior to your journey there if known.
While we strive to maintain the highest possible standards, there may be occasional circumstances beyond our control that can affect the delivery timeline. We will certainly take your feedback into account and will continue to work closely with our courier partners to ensure a smoother delivery process in the future.
