We love Whistle. We have a very active English Setter - both in daily activity, and in the field. Being a numbers person, it is cool to see the validation of his daily metrics. It is also reassuring that we are providing the best exercise, and that he is within the markers for drinking water, scratching and licking. The GPS is an added security, that we hope we NEVER have to use. Strongly recommend Whistle!

Lost my dog, whistle wasn't working. Thought I needed to update my credit card. Turns out it's discontinued because the device uses 3g. Now, they want me to buy a new one for another $129. Shame on you!!!

According to email received from Whistl, they received my parcel & processed & forwarded it to the courier company but NOT SPECIFIED which one . I did my own research to find out that my parcel will be delivered by Yodel.
1 week later, there is still NO UPDATE on the whereabouts or delivery date of my parcel. I emphasize that this is a parcel sent within the UK and I regularly get items from China which are delivered in 2 weeks max.
I am left worried & fuming as 0 info from both Whistl and Yodel ,the latter's tracking merely states that the parcel "is expected".
There are about a £100 worth of items in this parcel so obviously I am concerned because of the lack of updates /communication from the couriers involved.

This is a great product. We have 3 yellow labs and they each have one. They are all male and occasionally but infrequently each likes to take a "walkabout"and we are spared the grief and worry because we can find them. We are also giving them more exercise because of the activity tracker. Sweet Sam is losing weight and looking great!

I’ve enjoyed our Whistle. I like that it helps me keep track of our pup’s routines and whereabouts.

Amazing device and incredible information. The app helped me notice that my pooch had a rash and was licking excessively. The graphs also showed that the treatment the doctor gave me worked immediately.

As a "person of science" I can't say enough how valuable it is to have objective data at your fingertips for yourself, AND for your vet to see when reviewing an issue (trend, how long it's been happening for, result of treatment, etc)

Finally, having access to a vet IMMEDIATELY when a problem is found is just amazing. My own vet was extremely impressed with the health info as well and it was the network vet here that told me what to look out for and when to take him in if needed.

My dog was hit by a car around 10pm a few hundred feet from home. I never received an alert nor did his Whistle recognize. Had I been alerted in real time, I could have retrieved him. Minutes matter. He had to have his leg amputated.
I am not placing blame whatsoever, However real time is what counts

Been using a whistle with my large dog for almost a year and it's been indispensable! Instantly know how urgently he needs to go out and if/when my kids or dogsitters have been walking him. The step and health tracker provides more useful information than my spouse's fitbit. Most of all, when he escapes off leash we know where to look for him, esp. useful if a neighbor recovers him first and lets him in.

Fantastic product. Whether you use it for tracking, health insight for both it's a must have. It will also motivate you to get out and exercise so your pup reaches their goals, it's a win win.

I track everything and I have the peace of mind knowing where dog is at all time and then the health benefits also.

Wouldn't do anything or use anyone else for my furbaby!

I love this product. The Whistle Go Pro. I raise Goats and Zach, my herd dog helps. With the Whistle app, I know where Zach is at all times. The app. sends me notifications with Zach leaves the Safe Zone, lets me track him and provides daily information about his activity level, calories burned and sleep patterns.
Helps keep him safe and healthy.

We just bought the latest version of the Whistle. We had the older version but needed to replace it. I love all the extra info we're getting like scratching, licking, sleep stats, and of course the regular activity tracker. We can be certain, too, that if our beagle ever gets out of the fence, we will be able to find him

I love that I have peace of mind where Bailey is at all times. Having an eye on his scratching and licking are also super helpful factors that indicate to me his allergies are elevated so I can properly medicate him. He gets allergy shots every month, but occasionally, he'll need them every 3 weeks. I can manage this with all the data Whistle provides as a baseline.

First, I am long term customer, 9 years and various iterations of their trackers. Their Newest iteration of collar has FATAL FLAW. The alert notification of when you pet is 'out' will not sound until the device is outside the range of your wifi signal. No one, well 95% of the users, has a range that is bigger than their wifi range. Even cheap isp provider wifi routers send signals for 1/4 mile in each direction. The 'safe zone" (area where when you pet gets outside it, alert is sent) is smaller than wifi range. I tried to work with their customer service, their solution was to 'turn off your wifi signal', right.. I asked them if they could just disconnect the tracker from wifi, but they said it would not work properly. Their other solution was to wait until they have a fix, for which they have no eta. Whomever in this company was responsible for rolling this out should be, and probably already was, fired. This is likely to cost them their business. I moved on to another brand, tryfi. There are others too, but Whistle is not now an option. Plus, their customer service has always been poor, but now is literally terrible; rude and unhelpful. I am sure the agents are over it, dealing with such a huge eff up.

DO NOT BUY. Our cat left and didn’t return. She likes to wander so I had the gps on her. Bella had a thyroid issue so we suspect she went into the woods and died. She was about 13 and otherwise healthy. A very pretty sweet cat. We loved each other. The accuracy of the gps is sketchy. There were times it would show her location but no track of how she got there. Once it showed her in the middle of the lake. This time it showed her in the woods 600 ft away. No tracking. She must have flown there. I searched 4 times, no luck. The last time I used the proximity meter on the app to hone in using Bluetooth and it didn’t work. I was there and it should have pinged. By this time the battery on the gps was down to 1%. I will never find her and have closure.

I live on a ranch and thegps tracker has saved my black lab from a beating from a pack of wild dogs.

He was seriously injured but without the tracker he may have died.
