My order was acknowledged immediately and it was confirmed by email that the item was, as advertised, out of stock but that I would receive it in a couple of weeks. I was contacted again by Teresa (a gem, i think) as soon as it arrived to say it was being dispatched 1st class post that day. It arrived the next. Excellent product, excellent service.

ex-seeded expectation
I'd been looking for ages for wild flower seeds but couldn't find what I wanted. Found this website and there on the first page was exactly what I wanted, in fact more than, I had the dilemma then of choosing just what I wanted. So much available and in so many "packs". I ordered and sat back to wait delivery, not expecting anything very quickly, 2 days later an email "we will despatch tomorrow". 2 days after that the seeds were there, very very impressed. Also a free packet of Columbine seeds which co-incidently was the other choice I was humming and hahing about. Will definarely use again

Hello Mr Baugh, Thank you for reviewing. However, that's not quite the case. The Gromats were advertised on our site with a note in bold letters saying that we were temporarily out of stock and that if you ordered, to please bear in mind the delay. When stock arrived the manufacturer had not sent the full amount we ordered so I then emailed waiting customers of that fact and that more were due in some time in May. The small amount of Gromats we were sent were despatched to customers in order of receipt of order until we ran out.
Customers still waiting, like yourself, were then sent another email apologising for a further delay, which was out of our control.
Therefore, we can supply what was advertised, there is just a bit of a wait - which is exactly what our website advised. We try to get all orders out asap - usually within a week. When we are dependent on suppliers this sometimes (rarely) is not possible - but we do advise if there is a wait and do not put products on the website that we can't supply. We have now taken the Gromats off the website until we have a clear delivery date from the manufacturer. Teresa

HI Delia, The Trustpilot emails are automatically sent 7 days after the order is placed, by which time orders have been despatched to customers. This time the Gromat situation has put paid to that! The manufacturer tells me we should have a delivery of some of the new stock this week so fingers crossed I will be able to email you soon with a delivery date! Teresa

Quality plants and service
Plants turned up speedily. The packaging was sturdy and the plants were a good size and in good healthy condition. Will be buying from English Cottage Garden Nursery again

Very good service
You are nicely efficient, you told me when my seeds would be sent & I received them the next day.
I am about to plant these mixed seeds to encourage insects in my garden & you also gave me another pack of wild colombine which I hope will have the same effect.

I am 100% happy with my purchase, very fast shipping plus a whole page attached to every packet of seed purchased containing detailed information about the particular plant, that is very helpful! Also I found a free packet of seed. I would highly recommend English Cottage Garden to everyone!!!!

Good Plants, just what we wanted for our school wildlife area
We wanted some plants to brighten up our school wildlife pond, and found the English Cottage Garden Nursery on the internet - they had just the types of plants we needed, they arrived well packaged and quickly, and with great information sheets for each of the plants

What a super experience!
My order arrived on time, well packaged and with clear instructions that even the most amateur gardner would find easy to follow and informative. I loved the historical info about my plants and how to deal with them in all circumstances. Luckily I was able to plant my bluebells straight away so am now sitting back and waiting for them to appear!

I had been searchind for a meadow mat as a present for a friend.I ordered it,but was told there would be a delay as they were out of stock but would be delivered in april. The wait was very short and I was emailed to let me know when the product would be sent. I am likely to buy from this company again-I like the fact they keep you informed and are realistic about delays

the personal service and friendliness is second to none! A big plus is a friendly Facebook page that keeps you up to date with all the latest news, with helpful advice if needed. this has got to be THE place to go, for all wildflower & wildlife lovers!

Great service!
The seeds arrived very quickly and with additional information sheets on how to plant them. Superb customer service and the free mini sachet of seeds was a nice suprise too. I would certainly use English Cottage Garden again and have already recommended them to friends. :)
