I'm writing this review in the hope that it opens us some communication with this company, no one ever answers the phone, calls you back if you leave a message or replies to your emails. I paid a £500 deposit for hazel fencing work back on 23 March and was told someone would come and do the job in the second week of April, no one ever came and I have been chasing the job since then, a few times they have promised to come but no one ever turns up. They have blamed lack of materials as an excuse. I couldn't recommend this company, its been terrible and my last email to them a week ago asked for my £500 deposit back, but they have ignored me. Rob at Wild Edge Fencing built a new picket fence and 2 x gates together with replacing fencing at the back of the garden. The work was carried out on time and within the timeline quoted with Rob and 2 of his team. The gates were expertly hand built by Rob and look very impressive. We are delighted with the end result. The frontage of our house now looks stunning thanks to Wild Edge Fencing. Would highly recommend the company as we had such a positive experience. Thanks again Rob!

Job: 10x 6ft Panel fencing, back garden.
Positive: The fence was put up in a timely manner in a difficult setting. Rob appeared pleasant to deal with.
Negative: Job was not completed to specificiation. Bizzarely the gate was moved next to a downpipe restricting access and the lock put on the neighbours side of the fence. Garden plants damaged (e.g. mature fig tree snapped at the base). Left a large amount of rubbish. Very agressive pursuit of payment - I had already paid half the costs and he wouldn't let me check the job before paying the full amount. I paid this on the day it was completed as he threatened his insurance was not valid without this. I wish I hadn't paid as the job was unsatisfactory and incomplete. Also promised to return to complete snagging list if I paid straight away. However, went quiet after money was received - I hope everything is okay...

REFUSED TO RETURN WHEN WORK DISINTEGRATED, NOW GOING TO COURT
Rob Bond did a fencing job for us which despite going over on time and cost we were happy with and led to a householder group road project. He won this by verbal assurances as to maintenance, it disintegrated after FOUR WEEKS +THREE DAYS, it cost five figures and he would not even return to site. He has now issued me a warning for writing negative reviews, contacted sites to have them removed as false. When I wrote a positive after the fence he did not. Seems the review system is not all we consumers need it to be if negative reviews can be removed. They are claimed as false when completely true, who would go take a case to court otherwise.

Wild Edge, and Rob in particular, have just completed a scratch built Post and Rail Fence with Feather Edge Boards in Oak.
I have no hesitation in recommending Wild Edge for your fencing needs. A superb job in all respects.
