Stephen made sure all of us were comfortable on the trek and arranged for one of us to be escorted out of the canyon when she suffered from the heat. The meals were good for backpacking and he was able to make changes on the fly in our itinerary when needed.

This was my fifth trip with Wildland. None of my friends or family find backpacking fun so I go with this company and make new friends every time. The guides are amazing! The food is delicious. The routes are breathtaking. The difficulty ratings are spot on and specific so the challenge has felt "just right" every time. I'm already signed up to do my next trip with Wildland.

The food and accommodations were far better than expected. The guides were outstanding. I was a little slower than the rest of my group but never felt like I was on my own in the mountains. The ratings on difficulty and solitude of this trek were correct. I'm glad I went.

I did the Bright Angle/Hermit loop in the Grand Canyon in 1974 with friends and repeated it this year with Wildland Trekking. The company and the experienced and personable guide handled permits, transportation, logistics, extra equipment, food, water purification and dishes. The result was a low-stress trip with plenty of time to enjoy the canyon. Best taken mid-October to mid-May and be aware there's a 3700' climb out with packs and water at the end.

The guide spend time everyday giving me and each one of my kids personal attention and tried to make sure he would point out things they liked. He was beyond professional and encouraging and supportive but very knowledgeable and accommodating. This was our first family trip in years and everything from start to finish went smooth and perfect.

Our guide Drew was knowledgeable, helpful & a great cook. My wife and I were concerned about the difficulty of the trails but he had the experience to put us at ease. Even our reservations about the poop bags were soon overcome with their simplicity.
