Our guide, Jacob, was attentive thoughtful and full of wisdom. The booking process was seamless. During the trip, the lodge we stayed at was lovely and the meals, incredible! Not to mention the hiking itself was a treat.

BUCKET LIST!
Hiking the Grand Canyon was on my bucket list. I began to research guided hiking trips and found Wildlands website very informative. I chose a 7 night package. I’m 53 and my son who is 23 came along. We are both vegetarian and he’s a type one diabetic. Their guide was incredible. He prepared delicious meals, and always had fruit snacks on hand for a low blood sugar. But the best part was the canyon. Carlos (guide) was a fountain of knowledge about the canyon.
It was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend Wildland.

My experience with Wildland Trekking from booking to the trip’s conclusion was outstanding. The food, hikes, accommodations, and our guide made it a wonderful experience. This was my second trip with Wildland in two years. I will be back for more.

The scheduling for the four days was perfect. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to adapt her approach to the groups' abilities in short order. It was just a great experience all and all. The Canyonlands are magical. Everything you read or hear about the sky viewing do not do nature justice. It was a "light show" like no other.

Fantastic guide, roomy tents, warm sleeping bags and comfortable mats. Lassen Volcanic NP was amazing, best hikes and uncrowded. Was able to hike at our own pace. Fresh and delicious meals.

the combination of - Hiking / very small group / all inclusive - is a winning one.
I will return to Wildland as long as new adventures are on the menu...

Overall great outdoor experience. Great guides, food, scenery. Hike is not too difficult, and three nights base camp in one spot near the Escalante River is ideal.

My only previous trip to the Grand Canyon was over 50 years ago. My husband has always wanted to go so we decided to finally make it happen. The basecamp tour was a "Guides' Choice" tour and I can see why. Our guide, Anna, was multi-talented and knowledgeable and loves what she does. We all agreed that we enjoyed being in the less-populous areas of the park. We appreciated the good advice ahead of time and not having to worry about itinerary and equipment. Anna found unique areas to picnic at lunchtime and cooked dinner for us at the campground every evening when we arrived tired and hungry. It was truly a memorable trip and we would highly recommend Wildland Trekking.

We did a Bryce Canyon and Escalante Inn based tour with Sam. It was one of the best trips we have taken. Sam is an amazing guide- she got to know each person individually and led hikes that challenged us and that I would not have done on my own. I felt the trip was tailored to the group and that everyone’s voice was heard which is not an easy thing to do. The lunches she made on the trail were excellent- felt the love- and the breakfast and dinner places she chose were very good as well. I would be proud to have a daughter just like Sam!

If you want to see the beauty of these parks with a guide that will push you but still keep you safe, request Sam. As a company Wildland seems excellent. We had no issues. Everything as promised.

Wildland Trekking’s guide Rory made our rim to rim hike of the Grand Canyon an absolute pleasure. A majestic hike, especially with the excursions to Ribbon Falls and a sunset on the buff nearby Havasupai Gardens.

We had a great guide and everything about the trip was well organised and smooth. Good communication leading up to the trip, arrangements well made, in all a great experience.

Short Inca trail experience (our 6th Wildland trip) was outstanding and Jose was one of the best guides we have had. The scenery was stunning, Jose provided so much histoy and insight into Inca and Peruvian history. The accommodations were amazing as were the meals. And the highlight, Machu Picchu didn't disappoint. Truly a once in a lifetime!

Our guides were very familiar with the country, allowing us to experience the best of Iceland. We were well prepared to cross rivers, hiking with spectacular views, while also being excellent chefs ! Perfect trip!
