Willow and Hall Avis 

I took a bit of a gamble by ordering a new sofabed online but I am absolutely thrilled with my new sofabed. The firmer seat cushions on the sofa are so comfortable, and the vintage mustard velvet is exquisite.

Comms with both Willow & Hall and Route 1 delivery were responsive and effective.

The sofa bed was delivered without the bed, mattress or cushions. Nobody from Willow & Hall called us. Turns out the missing parts were thrown away.

No refund until everything returned, which is painful given they threw half of the order away.

Offered us 10% off, the same as their current sale discount, which shows a high degree of disdain.

A good range of sofabeds in a vast range of fabrics. Fabric samples are readily available so it was easy to find a sofabed that suited my needs. Delivery was made by Route 1 on a day of my choice by two very amenable delivery men one of whom gave a demonstration on how to open and close the sofabed. All in all a great experience and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Extremely pleased with my 2 sofas and chair. Ordering very easy - good selection of lovely designs and sizes. Large choice of fabrics available. The designs I choice look very stylish in the room and are very comfortable. You can see that they are quality pieces of furniture - would buy again from this company.

Bought two Amesbury sofas nine years apart. The optional side cushions on the original were excellent - cut to fit and substantial. The new ones are woeful - they are lightweight and stick out. They generally therefore end up on the floor. The only option suggested was a refund with postage at my expense. This was very disappointing on a £1500 order. I would have thought twice about the sofa, had I known the side cushions performed so badly. It wasn't worth the hassle of returning the sofa, but I remain disappointed and will not be buying from Willow and Hall again

I've been planning to get a Willow & Hall sofa for nearly a whole year, my brother has one and I really liked the style and colours but was on the fence because of the lack of showroom. In the end, I took the plunge and I am so thrilled with the sofa so far. I got the Alderton Chaise sofabed in house velvet burgundy with the middle soft pillow options. It's comfortable yet firm and such a stunning colour! I've had the sofa a few weeks now and it's revolutionised my room.

Also, the delivery process was INCREDIBLE! I was worried because of some of the reviews but it was so smooth and I'd paid to have my old sofa taken away which just made the whole progress really positive.

The selection (a fantastic range of fabrics and colours to chose from), ordering and delivery of my sofa bed was very straightforward. The bed hasn't been slept on yet but the mattress looks very comfortable and the mechanism for opening out the bed and closing it is very smooth. I was very happy with the whole process of buying this product from Willow and Hall.

Sorry it has taken some time for me to write my review for Willow & Hall, external circumstances caused my delay but this in no way takes from my total satisfaction with the products from this company. My two sofa beds are of such a high quality & so comfortable. The colour choices available are equally pleasing to the eye. The sales team were excellent, helpful & supportive & the deliver team were equally so. All in all a great experience from a very quality oriented company. A company I will be very happy to recommend ongoing. Indeed I have already done so. Thank you.

We sat on our new sofa for the first time, very comfortable. Then we pulled out the bed…very large and just as we had ordered, with memory foam. Made in the UK, which is what we wanted!

I never received an order confirmation and I had to email to request that it actually went through. Then I was told my order would be sent to the delivery company on 25 April and I’d be contacted by them. I reached out on that day and was told that was the wrong date and it was actually due to be sent to the delivery company on 28 April. The same thing happened on this date and I was told it would be with them on 2 May. On 2 May I emailed again, and was told there was a quality control issue with the fabric so my order couldn’t be sent, and it would be another two weeks minimum. I asked for proof of the issue as the timing is extremely convenient and still haven’t received a response. It’s been delayed three times (now indefinitely) and I had to initiate communications every time.

In response to Willow and Hall’s comment - the first delivery attempt was with drivers who were uninformed there is no lift in my building despite the fact I left this in the comments. they refused to deliver and I had to rebook for a few working days later. When the next set of delivery drivers came, they also hadn’t been informed of this and they almost didn’t deliver. I had to plead with them to please deliver the sofa as it had been weeks since thr first delay. Fortunately, they agreed. The sofa itself is fine although not worth the price in my opinion. I also note that I’m still waiting for Willow and Hall to provide evidence that the sofa was ever damaged in the first place. I will never purchase from them again.

Beautifully made lovely piece of furniture, love the colour and also the fabric. As for the delivery, all the information on the website, like the necessary door width is very useful, however it doesn't take the packaging into consideration.

Placed order by telephone because I wanted to discuss various options. This was not a problem and the staff was polite and helpful. Rapid confirmation of order received by by email.

The sofa is very comfortable and exactly as shown on the website. The time taken was roughly as predicted. Delivery was efficient and neat. The only point that could have been improved upon was communication. Once we had ordered nothing happened for a while, so that eventually I telephoned to find out if things were indeed happening. A short note keeping us up to date with progress on the way through would have been welcomed.

Company went to deliver a sofa bed on 3rd April 25 but before it came off van it was damaged so they took it away. Since then heard absolutely nothing from anyone. No idea what is going on. I did try calling customer services who told me it was being looked at and if i wasnt happy i could have my money back, not really interested at all and quite rude. Disappointed as this company came with very good recommendations.

A wonderful British made sofa bed at a superb price. We have been so happy with our Appley that we’re about to order another one. Excellent craftsmanship (and information about lead times and delivery too).

Sadly seems to be a bit disorganised. I placed an order online but received no confirmation and had to telephone to check the order had been received. The delivery company driver and colleague arrived and the colleague was very rude. No overshoes were worn and black trainer marks were left all over the floor. They seemed to have no idea of how to assemble the sofa correctly and left me and my husband to tighten up the feet. A scatter cushion was missing. When I discussed this it felt as though I was making it up. When the replacement scatter cushion arrived it had no piping, so another one had to be provided which was the wrong size. Finally the correct scatter cushion was received.
I love the colour of the sofa and style. However, I absolutely hate the seat cushions which I have voiced with Willow and Hall. I purchased seat cushions that are supposed to be easy to maintain, no fluffing or rearranging. Nothing further from the truth. The sofa looks scruffy and requires rearranging after every sitting. I have been told I can purchase replacements but obviously at a cost. Having said all of the above it is very comfortable to sit on. All in all very dissatisfied.

I was looking for a sofa bed which had a Californian beach vibe with no arms. Found the perfect one at Willow and Hall, very classy and gorgeous linen fabric. The ordering process was great. Slight problem when sofa arrived as fabric sample and sofa fabric didn’t match as new fabric batch was slightly different. Contacted customer service and sofa collected promptly and alternative fabric selected. Only negative thing I would say is that for the quality of the item they sell, they do not use a proper sofa delivery company.
