Good customer service during the ordering process. Sent out material sample after order and all for a period you can change your mind on colour selected. Issue with delivery, but their van broke down, however contacted straightaway and kept informed. Sofa bed arrived, great quality, easy to pull out and put back.

It was a surprisingly easy process! The website is really easy to use, it's always a gamble to order a sofa without sitting on it but it's paid off. The fabric samples arrived super quickly, and the sofa (8 seater sofa bed) is perfect. It arrived really quickly, maybe 4 weeks, and it's exactly as we'd hoped, it looks lovely. Haven't used the bed yet but sure it will be fine. Only slight issue is after we'd ordered there was no contact or update on timings of delivery, we just got a message from the courier confirming date of delivery. Delivery was also painless. I love the sofa, it was a great value, and I would use Willow & Hall again.

I purchased a sofa bed which was…
I purchased a sofa bed which was delivered on time last November. Delivery men were great. The order was placed by telephone and the member of staff was very helpful and polite. The item looks great in my lounge, the mattress on the sofa bed is very comfortable, my one slight niggle is that the sofa cushions seem not to be quite as firm in the centre of the sofa as they are towards the arms but this in no way detracts from my satisfaction.

Quality leaves a lot to be desired
Quality leaves a lot to be desired, cushions are far from "firm" as advertised, and sitting on the sofa is now quite uncomfortable. Furthermore, a seam has ripped and part of the sofa bed cover has detached.
When contacting support, they sent someone who looked at the sofa and reported that it was "within spec". Frankly, if the spec is poor to begin with, what's the point. Have been told that it's their "final position" and have not heard a peep since about the split seam on one of the cushions.
Seems like they used to make good quality sofas and are now just ripping people off and sending crap quality that lasts just long enough for them to refuse to accept a return. Avoid.

Great experience all round
The process of ordering online was straightforward, and choosing the model, fabric, colour and cushion filling was simple. When the sofa bed arrived, I was impressed by the quality. It is extremely comfortable both to sit on and to sleep on, looks fantastic, and is clearly very well made.
The delivery service was excellent. The team who brought the sofa bed were polite and careful, unpacked it for us, and took away all the packaging.
I would happily recommend Willow & Hall to friends and family.

I was excited at the prospects of a…
I was excited at the prospects of a lovely Willow and Hall sofa but unfortunately it was disappointing the sofa is very well made and solid but it was not how I had expected it to be. There were no cushions at the back of the seats just a hard sloping back. Which looked incomplete the seats were very deep as there were no cushions to the backing and your legs could not reach the floor when sitting, I rang Willow and Hall and said about the back of the sofa and was informed that they used scatter cushions from John Lewis in the picture on line. I ordered a large quantity of fabric and made my own backing but it does not look anywhere near as nice as I had hoped. Sorry but disappointed.

We are sorry to hear that the Chilmark Sofa was not as you had expected. We are pleased that you found it well made and solid, but we do understand your disappointment that the design and seating position did not feel right for you.
Having reviewed your order, we can see this was delivered on 12/11/2025, and that you contacted us shortly after delivery regarding the option of adding larger cushions. At the time, we confirmed that this was not something we supplied as standard for this model, but you did go on to order additional matching fabric so that cushions could be made separately.
The Chilmark has a curved back design rather than separate fixed back cushions, and some images may include scatter cushions for styling. We are sorry if this was not clear enough when you placed your order.
As the sofa has now been in use for over seven months, we are limited in what we can offer at this stage, but we do appreciate your feedback and will take your comments on board when reviewing how this style is presented online.

I bought a lovely sofa-bed from Willow…
I bought a lovely sofa-bed from Willow and Hall recently and cannot fault the service or product. The quality and mechanism on the sofa-bed is smooth and easy to work, the fabric is plush and the craftsmanship outstanding.
Delivery service was efficient, called an hour before delivery, unwrapped and placed where needed and took packing rubbish away.
Fabulous British founded company, what’s not to love!

Beautiful quality lush sofa bed
We ordered the beautiful quality sofa bed in dark red velvet. The quality of the mattress is perfect and the whole sofa looks lush. We have just ordered the matching 2 seat sofa which we are waiting to be delivered in the coming weeks. All in all we would recommend this company. The sofa bed is so comfortable and is definitely worth the money.

Colour samples sent out
Once order was placed online the company sent out a sample of the colour as I hadn't requested one to make sure I was happy. Emails were sent throughout the process to keep me up to date with the order along the way.
The sofa is of great quality and I would say they gave more choice than other well known brands out there

Great quality product, easy and quick delivery
I ordered a ready-for-delivery (discounted) sofa bed and it was perfect, exactly what I had been looking for with a decent discount, and the delivery was very easy and speedy (less than 1 week). The sofa bed itself is great - fits perfectly, looks nice, and is comfortable. Would definitely purchase from here again!

Don't waste your money!
I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a sofa from Willow & Hall.
We purchased an Allington Sofa Bed for approximately £2,000, selecting the Reflex Foam cushions because they were advertised as being firm, supportive and resilient. Unfortunately, shortly after delivery, the seat cushions lost their shape and became extremely flat. They provided so little support that the wooden frame could be felt beneath them when sitting down.
When I raised this issue with Willow & Hall, they acknowledged my concerns and offered replacement cushions filled with soft fibre instead. However, these replacement cushions have performed no better and have also become flat very quickly.
At the time, I accepted this as the final resolution to my complaint, despite being disappointed with the outcome. However, I have since come across a review from another Willow & Hall customer who experienced the same problem and was offered the opportunity to return the sofa for a full refund. This was particularly frustrating to discover, as a return and refund was the resolution I had hoped for but was never offered.
The sofa is not only uncomfortable but also looks visibly worn and flattened despite its relatively young age. Guests who have sat on it have commented that it feels uncomfortable and appears much cheaper than its price would suggest.
We are not in a position to spend £2,000 lightly, and purchasing this sofa was a significant luxury purchase for our family. It is therefore extremely disappointing to be left with a product that has deteriorated so quickly and does not reflect the quality, comfort or durability that we were led to expect.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Willow & Hall or the Allington Sofa Bed.

We do understand that comfort is very personal, particularly with a significant purchase, and we are sorry that the feel of the sofa has not met your expectations.
Your sofa bed was delivered on 02/09/2025. After concerns were formally raised on 04/11/2025, we arranged an independent technician inspection to assess the seat cushions, sofa bed mechanism and fibre around the back cushion buttons. The inspection found no manufacturing fault, confirmed that the seat cushion interiors were undamaged and to specification, and noted that the mechanism noise was consistent with normal sofa bed mechanism movement. The minor loose fibre around the buttons was also addressed during the visit.
Although the product was confirmed to be within specification, we still offered a replacement set of seat cushions in an alternative filling as a goodwill gesture, without admission of fault, in an effort to help improve the comfort for you. This was accepted and supplied as our final goodwill resolution.
We appreciate that this has not resulted in the outcome you were hoping for, and we are genuinely sorry that you remain unhappy. However, based on the independent inspection and the goodwill resolution already provided, we do consider the complaint to have been fully reviewed and concluded.
