Horrible investments

Had to change their name to stop the bleed from the negative press. If you’re new to their platform, lookup Yieldstreet. I put a small amount of my portfolio with them to test the waters and thank god I did. Pretty much expecting 100% loss at this point with the growth and income REIT which they promised a 11-15% annualized return. Have not received a single dividend payment in years. They still have it listed as - Liquidity “Yes”- on the app. Haven’t been able to pull any money out in years. Horrible investment managers. Use VNQ or any other publicly traded REITs, save yourself the hassle.

everything you year about this company…

everything you year about this company is real. I have a net -2.43% return. Most of my investments were complete losses and the remainders are on watchlist or extended for 18 to 65 months. On top of that, they don't give you your K1's until September. A few days before the extended tax deadline. I have accepted my losses, since I made the decision to invest with them. I do not wish them harm, but they should not get anyone else's money.

Terrible and pathetic fund management

Terrible and pathetic fund management. Had a real estate investment in a DFW Multifamily Equity that has yielded 0 returns and lost 100% capital after 5 years. Kept providing useless updates for 5 years on how they kept investing in renewing the units in the property. They need to be reported for potential ponzi

You've Been Warned

I invested in some real estate deals with Willow Wealth. It's a 100% loss. It's one thing to not make money, or lose some money, they're investments so there is risk involved, but to be completely wiped out is a whole other thing entirely. Diversification doesn't help you when *ALL* of the deals go bad. Their underwriting team is terrible and their offerings are garbage. They renamed their company from Yieldstreet to Willow Wealth to try to outrun their bad track record.

Lost nearly 90% of my capital with this…

Lost nearly 90% of my capital with this unscrupulous company. They did not do their diligence at all and accepted financial statements - all fraudulent / made up - at face value. Check out “Yieldstreet investment losses” on Google if you’re not familiar with their clever little rebrand to try and erase their troubled past.

My money is trapped here

My money is trapped here. When an investment reached end of term, I expected the release of the remainder. Instead, after a one week lull, the investment suddenly had a six month extension added.

When customer service responded to questions via email, they stated that the company could extend the term again. In other words, they are publishing optimistic quarterly updates but they have no intention to honor any timeline. It's very possible that it will not be repaid at all, given the lack of transparent reporting.

The customer service response utilizes a smarmy tone to ward off further questions. He indicated that of course the investment may be delayed at the end of the currently posted timeline, as though this was a foregone conclusion.

A sinking ship.

Do not invest with this company

If it were possible to give a 0, I would. Do not invest with this company. They misrepresent investments and I have money locked up that was meant to be a 5-year investment that now, at 5 years, I am unable to access. The term was doubled, but with no guarantee you can exit then.

I am sitting on over $100k in…

I am sitting on over $100k in unrealized losses and based on the updates I receive from Willow Wealth, the losses will be realized in the next 6 months. The old Yield Street platform touted that you could diversify to protect yourself, but I was very diversified in Yieldstreet (now Willow Wealth) and still lost a lot of money. They are either incompetent or fraudulent, but either way, why risk your money? I would encourage the SEC to investigate them.

Only a fool would invest with these…

Only a fool would invest with these clowns after these warnings. Have lost thousands with them over misrepresenting investments. Cannot believe no one is not in jail. Expect your investment to never close, why because they continue to extend, so they can collect fees! So Willow Wealth is questioning if I am a real investor to prevent me from sharing this information. So WW, would you like to talk about the Pompano Beach Multi-Family Equity or the Houston Multi-Family Equity I? I have many to choose from or I could just post the letter you sent. But hey you marked it "Willow Wealth Confidential. Not for redistribution. "

Scam Company

Willow Wealth is the scam company Yieldstreet evolved into after stealing untold millions of dollars from people like me who needed that money for retirement. Absolute criminals, but since they're white-collar finance bros, they'll never be held accountable for all the money they stole from me and others. Diversification didn't help at all. Real estate, art, shipping: almost all of their offerings were fraudulent.

Investor Beware

I invested $50,000 into each of two multifamily real estate offerings through Yieldstreet (Willow Wealth), one on 10/15/21 and the second on 2/24/22.
Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage prospective investors to exercise extreme caution before investing through this platform.
One of my investments appears likely to result in a total loss of my original equity investment. The second investment has also been placed on the platform’s “Watch List,” which raises additional concerns regarding performance and overall stability. Let’s be clear, you must get a return of your original investment before you can get any return on the investment!
Several aspects of my experience have been particularly disappointing:
• Both investments materially underperformed the expectations presented at the time of investment.
• The investments were highly sensitive to interest rates, financing assumptions, refinance timing, and exit cap rates.
• In hindsight, the use of short-term floating-rate debt created significant exposure in a rapidly rising interest rate environment.
I was also disappointed by the overall investor reporting experience:
• Quarterly reporting and updates often lacked the level of transparency and timeliness I expected.
• Tax reporting has consistently been delayed. In my experience, K-1s and related tax documents were not provided in time for the standard April 15 filing deadline and instead arrived much later in the year, close to extension deadlines.
I noticed that Yieldstreet later began operating under the name Willow Wealth. I personally found the change concerning given the performance issues experienced by many investors into Yieldstreet brokered investments. Companies with a quality reputation who are recognized for strong performance don’t suddenly change their name.
I would encourage investors considering an equity investment with Willow Wealth to look at the track record of the S&P 500 vs investments previously offered by Yieldstreet (Willow Wealth). It will help you to make a better decision with regards to investing your hard-earned cash for both asset preservation and growth vs the decisions I made to ever work with this company.
This review reflects only my personal experience and opinions as an investor.

Extreme disappointment and lost

I have been investing at Willow Wealth for 5 years. While some investments were profitable, the majority were not. I have lost significant capital. The investment timelines have far exceed the initial projects for payout, and I am unable to receive back the capital I invested (it is locked up or has been 'lost'). As an example, one of the investment summaries states "there will be a substantial loss on your investment". I regret ever investing with this company and would not recommend it to anyone.

Definitely stay away

Definitely stay away. Do not trust their advertised return numbers.
At the best, you get positive returns that are less than what they promised; at the worst, you lost all your capital.

Extremely negative returns

As many other reviewers have stated, Willow Wealth (formerly Yieldstreet) has produced very negative returns that don't align with the characterization of the risk advertised. Seemingly every project in their REIT fund is a complete loss or underwater, and it seems very likely that investors in that fund will lose every dollar invested.

Despite their arguments to the contrary, it seems pretty clear that their rebrand as Willow Wealth was an attempt to escape all of the negative attention they received for the money they lost due to poor investments. They are not accepting liquidation requests for their REIT fund, and are granting only partial requests for liquidation of other funds, so it is quite difficult to get invested funds back.

Good app, bad returns. Stay away.

I have been investing with them for many years, and I cannot recommend them.
The UX and app is great.
The short-term notes do have very good returns and are reliable.
All other investments have been a mess. I have a $15k investment on "watchlist" for many years now, which I cannot sell ( I presume means a total loss) but because they won't mark it as "lost" I have to wait for a K1 every year, and cannot mark it as a long-term capital loss.
They recently told me they were moving the alternative income fund to another company, which will be very annoying for me to manage...but when I asked to liquidate they only have me 10% of the value back because they didn't find enough buyers. Really, stay away.

These guys are absolute scam artists

These guys are absolute scam artists. Do not give them your money. My investments with them have all performed poorly and you can only remove funds during “liquidation events” which are only a couple of times a year. When you put in a request to liquidate your shares they only assign 10% or less of your request. I have been trying to get my money back from them for YEARS. Whatever you do, do not give these criminals your money.
