From start to finish, the whole experience has been fantastic. Julia in Sales was brilliant at answering all my questions promptly, while Gordon, who carried out the site survey, was extremely knowledgeable, offered great recommendations, and was an all-round sound fella!

A special mention to the scheduling team, who managed to arrange our installation within just a week of receiving the all-clear from the asbestos test. The fact that Wizer included this test at no extra charge was another huge plus, especially when Bord Gáis wanted €500 for the same thing!

The roofers and electricians who carried out the installation were absolutely top class. Their workmanship was excellent, everything was left clean and tidy, and they kept me informed throughout the entire process.

We’re delighted with the finished system and are already seeing the benefits!

Problems from the start, very poor aftercare

Wizer installed my solar system in August 2022. They initially fitted the wrong solar panels and had to replace them. That was the first issue.

Around four years later, the myenergi eddi they supplied and installed failed, with visible heat discolouration around a connection on the rocker switch.

I was left without hot water for two weeks. Wizer offered to send out someone to take a look in 2 weeks for a cost of €70, then withdrew that offer, stating they don't offer repairs. I eventually paid my own electrician €150 to restore it using a standard timer. The immersion now works, but I've lost the solar diversion functionality I originally paid for.

Wizer refused a free repair or replacement, or anything in between. They said they were willing to inspect the unit, so I supplied the requested photos, serial number, electrician's invoice and details of what happened. I kept the failed unit available for them to inspect.

Since then, silence. No inspection arranged, no solution and no response to follow-up emails or my formal final notice. This has dragged on for months.

Things go wrong. I judge a company by whether they help sort them out. When the eddi failed, the after-sales support was hostile and effectively nonexistent.

Based on my experience, they seem more interested in taking the money than maintaining relationships with customers and supporting them when something goes wrong.

I wouldn't use Wizer again.

Very easy to deal with. A quote over the phone gave me a ballpark figure… then the surveyor called and after that I had a firm figure less the grant. Once we ordered and paid a reasonable deposit every thing went smoothly, lead time was 6 weeks and they delivered on time.. the installation team were so friendly from the roofers to the electricians. After sales was like the rest of the process, they even configured the APP. If you are looking at Solar Panels, do consider Wizer, I did and do not regret it

Excellent communication from the office, and teams on the ground were brilliant. Pre-installation survey was very thorough and gave me a clear view of all the options available to me.

From the very start each person we dealt with was brilliant. They provided every piece of information and replied to any queries very promptly. The lads surveying and fitting the system were fantastic. Nice guys, professional and left no mess behind. I would and have recommend Wizer Energy for their service and product.

Thank you so much for getting the two electricians around to us so quickly. They were very knowledgeable, isolated the issue and resolved in a very quick space of time. They were extremely polite and mannerly to go along with it. Very impressed with the customer service. Stuff can and always will break however I'm always more interested in responsiveness and time to resolution. Super job and thanks again.

Absolutely delighted with the service and professionalism.
Shauna was my main point of contact, she explained the system to me and was always on hand to answer any questions or queries that I had. She has a lovely attitude and is very knowledgeable. There was no hard sell and fee's and extras were explained very clearly. We were getting this done in February which was going to have problems when the lads are on the roof, but the turned up when the said and they worked very quickly and no mess. The electricians followed and again very good, everyone was very polite and cleaned up after themselves.
Not being the best with technology again I had to rely on Shauna to get me on the right plan and she arranged for the lads to set my battery charging and set the system up for me.
Excellent service from start to finish

From start to finish they were amazing. I had researched solar panels for a good few years before taking the leap.i knew what questions to ask and they were able to answer them all. They are quick,efficient and clean. The workers were so lovely I'd have them back any time. I'm only sorry I didn't get panels in sooner. They told me to ring anytime if I have any issues. But other then needing help with the app which they sorted for me. I can't find a reason to get them back out.

A punctual, efficient installation was completed within two days, with minimal disruption. I can't thank the Wizer team highly enough. The panel installers, the electricians and the office staff have been so courteous, efficient & informative. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
