Error in order

First order to longet to arrive than stated. Second order chased 5 days after being placed to be told there was an IT error and my order had been cancelled (payment taken). Told I could cook my dog some food from fresh and a new order had been generated would take 3 days. Too late had ran out. Explained I was disapointed they refunded me 10% (a whole £1.54 which I don't understand
the logic of). It needs to be a reliable service with better customer service.

Don’t buy the sample

Don’t buy the sample £2.99 and you get 64g worth so you can’t make your mind up if it’s any good and that’s awfully expensive that was a postage cost

We are really sorry you feel that way, we offer the sample service especially for dog owners who have fussy dogs and lots of bags of food in their cupboards with only a little bit eaten. It is an excellent way to taste test without buying a whole bag. Thanks for trying anyway:-)

So far so good

I originally purchased 2 sample (60g) packs for my dog to check if he likes it and he loves the food. I have purchased a 1.5kg bag. It's expensive compared to other brands but seems worth it. Have another 2 bags scheduled for delivery.Delivery is tracked and fast.

Excellent company to deal with.
Went above and beyond when we had an issue with a delivery via DPD.
Our dog can't digest large kibble but she's never had a problem with Wolfworthy and she's now 7yrs old.

I'm a new dog owner to a 10 week old…

I'm a new dog owner to a 10 week old puppy. Before picking up my baby I spent hours every evening researching the best kibble for my pup and I thought this was it.

Unfortunately it wasn't suitable and our puppy lost weight and started having seizures because he was not being fed enough 😢 I followed the daily recommended amount, weighed it out and split it between 3 meals but it wasn't enough and my puppy was starving! He was losing weight and his blood sugar levels were so low it caused him to have seizures.

I am absolutely riddled with guilt and I feel like heartbroken for putting him through this. The suggested portion sizes are unbelievably low and definitely not enough to feed puppies.

My boy is now on a raw food diet and is putting his weight back on. He's much happier and healthier.

Sadly I don't recommend this food. Something isn't quite right with the suggested portions and it's a different amount written on the bag to what it says online.

A 10 week puppy should still have 4 meals a day until they are 4 months and only then should it be reduced to 3 per day. The Kennel Club have more on this: www.thekennelclub.org.uk.

With Wolfworthy the feeding amount on the bag is the Adult feeding amount, this is clearly stated, so you should have used our website to find out what your puppy needed. As your puppy grows the amount of food will increase so you need to keep increasing this in line with their growth. We have lots of help on this.

Wolfworthy Dog Food

I cannot praise this company enough as they go above and beyond in caring for their customers. My boxer dog has been having their food for quite a while now which he loves, his motions are brilliant (sorry folks but it needs to be said)! A couple of times I've nearly run out of his food, I've emailed Holly & Diane and within a couple of days his food has been delivered by DPD (another fantastic service provider) so get your orders in doggie owners...you won't be disappointed and I'm sure neither will your doggies 🐶🐕

What a fantastic dog food

What a fantastic dog food! Our cockapoo loves it. We did try other brands prior to becoming a wolfworthy customer but he wouldn’t eat it whereas he has loved wolfworthy from the get go! He eats the food as soon as we put the bowl down. Our dog is thriving and has a lovely golden shinny coat which I think it’s all down to the high quality ingredients/raw feeding approach. My husband even jokes “the dog eats better than I do”! Ha! The deliveries are super fast and we have always received great customer service. So would definitely recommend to other dog owners.

Feel like I’ve been tricked!

I ordered a large bag for my dogs. They ate it to begin with but then stopped eating it after a few days. A few weeks later I get an email to say my next bag is on its way! I go to my account and it says I subscribed however, I did not! Why would I subscribe to something I don’t know whether they will like or not? They have taken £56 payment from my account so have emailed customer services. Will see how customer focused they are when I get a reply! Feel like I’ve been tricked into a subscription. I will be disputing with my bank if they don’t refund so please think twice before giving your customer to Wolfworthy.
Update re feedback below, it wasn’t clear and never received an email three days before giving me option to cancel

Hey Bee, we are sorry you feel this way. You made use of the reduced price when you signed up for a subscription so received 10% off the full price. We also sent a reminder email to you three days before renewal to allow you to cancel before any payment was taken. We also recalled the order after it was dispatched and refunded you. It is not possible to subscribe without selecting the reduced price and confirming you understand it is a subscription. This said, we thank you for trying Wolfworthy and appreciate the feedback:-)

Great food my dogs love to eat

My dogs love this food and one of them is extremely fussy. It is a great quality food and they have no problems with their digestion like some other foods. Very fast delivery too. Thank you!

Well what can I say

Well what can I say, today the sample I ordered was delivered I can only guess that my gsd loved it because it arrived when I was at work and he got the package off the floor, chewed open the cardboard, made a hole in the package and ate the whole lot before I came home. Not a piece left just the empty wrapper. So.ive just ordered a bag and set up a subscription!!

I purchased a 1.5kg bag after reading…

I purchased a 1.5kg bag after reading so many great reviews. I really wanted my dog to love this food as it seems a great alternative to regular kibble.
I received my order in good time. I took a handful out and offered it to my dog and he demolished it.
Next day, following the guidelines to transition him from one food to the other I mixed it with his regular food. He ate his regular food leaving all the wolfworthy. I tried again and again, same thing! Next day I didn't feed him all day until the evening and gave no treats, poor thing was starving. Presented him with a bowl of just wolfworthy, just walked away.
I don't understand, he's not even a fussy eater, he will eat anything. I even played his favourite hide and search game with the food, he would find it but wouldn't eat it.
I contacted wolfworthy on Instagram and received prompt response, they said I could return the food, as it was going to cost me £7 to send it by courier as they suggested I decided there was not really much point. 1.3 kg left as I didn't put rejected food back in the bag.
I'm really disappointed but he just will not eat it.

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us. It is a real shame your dog hasn't moved over easily, like you say he demolished it to start with so this is unusual. However, dogs all have their unique characters; some accept change easily and others don't. I wonder if it may be worth trying again but ditching the bowl, perhaps the new food in the old bowl may have been confusing for your dog. Perhaps try hand feeding for a bit longer or using for recall or training, this is just a suggestion to see if he will change this way. Nevertheless, we do accept returns and I am not sure why it was £7, the return for a large bag would be more like that but you can send 1.5 kg bags by RM 2nd class for around £3. I hope this helps and sorry again it didn't work for your dog but thanks for giving us a try anyway!

Milo is now 3 years in to Wolfworthy…

Milo is now 3 years in to Wolfworthy Kibble, he is a 7yr old f1 cockpoo, and until I discover Wolfworthy was a fussy eater who got bored with his food, it’s great to find a food he is happy to eat all the time, his coat is amazing and his groomer now recommends Wolfworthy to other dog owners, she as had great feedback.

Very happy with this dog food and my 18…

Very happy with this dog food and my 18 month active Vizsla loves it. It’s worth noting that the feeding guide top end of range suggests 270g per day for my dog but he was losing weight on this. He’s since stabilised on approx 380-400g per day. Needing a third more does make a difference to the monthly cost, my 27kg dog costs approx £85 / month. Still a cost saving on Forthglade but not as much as I thought it would be!

Not Suitable For Puppies

I changed my puppy from Royal Canin to Wolfworthy hoping it would help with his soft stools. I ended up with more problems than before. I have a giant breed and he grows rapidly. His growth stopped whilst on Wolfworthy, no matter how much I increased the food. He became very skinny and was constantly hungry. I wouldn’t advise this food for a growing puppy. However, I think the food would be good for a fully grown adult dog.

Hi Emma, it's a shame our food hasn't suited your dog, thanks for the photo's btw he is lovely. All dogs are different and after struggling with sloppy poo in Royal Canin we are also disappointed our food didn't help. Some dogs are more sensitive than others but our food is definitely suitable for puppies, it is made in accordance with fediaf guidlines on nutrition for growing dogs and we have hundreds of dogs thriving on it. Hope you find something suitable soon:-)

Absolutely wonderful for my dog!

My mixed breed rescue from the get go had sloppy horrible frequent poos and awful itching.
Vet visits, medication, discovering dairy and grain intolerance, a couple of food changes, and nothing helped. I considered a raw food diet and so I did some research and stumbled across Wolfworthy on Instagram of all places haha. I read the reviews here and I thought I'd give it a try before going fully raw.
I first purchased a small bag to begin weaning and followed the weaning schedule provided. The first few days saw his poos go between sloppy and decent but by the time I had fully weaned he went from up to 5 large sloppy poos a day to only 2-3 mainly firm and smaller, better coloured poos.
He loves the food, so much so that if I put a little fresh or treat in with it, like a sprat or something, he'll eat the kibble first around it.
It's been around 8 weeks now and his itching for what seemed like nothing has disappeared. He poos twice a day most days and they're firm, small and consistent.
He's very active so I feed him the top end amount for his weight and I've kept an eye on him and his weight has remained the same.
Other very very fussy dogs in the family have immediately scoffed down Wolfworthy when at my home.
I'm on a repeat subscription now and I definitely won't look back. Delivery as expected, no issues.

Decent food, questions over the "recommended amount" calculations.

Our pup has been on wolfworthy for over a year after transitioning (as per any other transition for animal foods). Seems a decent food, never rejected and seems to agree with him creating reasonable stools.
Pup is a 2 year cockerpoo and very active, and the recommended amounts of food per kg of dog led to him initially losing weight but once I found the right amounts for home he's maintaining well. When customer care were asked the responses seemed very generic which for a small company trading on good service I wasn't impressed by.
Overall would well recommend the subscription service.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - Had high hopes for this food, ordered a large bag, tried all 3 dogs on it following feeding guidelines etc. all 3 dogs had absolutely huge sloppy poop, tried to leave an honest review on the Facebook page & got blocked. Also strange that they only publish 4 or 5 star reviews on the website !! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Best Kibble I Have Used So Far

Been using this with our puppy labradoodle for about 3 months now (she gets half her calories from Wolfworthy and half from a raw diet) and she is very fit and well and loves it. As kibble goes, this seems very high quality - smells great (even to a human). I have tried a lot of foods as my previous dog had a lot of stomach problems. Stools are certainly good with this food and that is as good an indicator as you can get. Stick with smaller producers for kibble (or any other dog foods). The big multinationals do not care at all and use horrible fillers that have the nutritional value of cardboard. Even vet prescribed foods can be awful, so do your own research and go with what suits your dog.
