I’ve been using Wollit for a few months…
I’ve been using Wollit for a few months now and it has really helped boost my credit score after I damaged it last year.
Sign-up was super quick and easy. I was initially regularly checking my credit score as I wasn’t sure if it was actually going to help but after I saw it going up I’ve now just left in the background doing its thing and I just check in every now and again.
I love that it reports my rent to Experian but another interesting part of the app is that it highlights the risky spending habits I have - some of which I really wasn’t aware of. What’s also been really positive is that before Wollit I was only being offered credit cards with really rubbish interest rates and low credit limits but now I’m getting much better offers. I don’t plan on getting any credit cards any time soon but it’s good to know I’ve got better options if I do need to.
Overall, I really can’t recommend Wollit enough!

Cowboy outfit - STEAR CLEAR! ... Tried it for the claim that rent payments can build up credit score. But the app is garbage. They don't tell you about all the restrictions for it to operate. It doesn't work. So I asked them to cancel my account and refund me 30 mins later (29th Jan '24). They charged me again! 2 weeks and 13 emails later, I STILL have not got a full refund and they STILL have my details and the account is STILL open. I have read the replies to negative reviews and they lie blatantly!
***Update: now fully refunded, as of 9/feb/2024. My details STILL on their system***

We’re sorry to hear about your experience with our app, we aim for clarity and ease with our app, and we're sorry you don’t feel we provided that for you. We’re also sorry to hear about some of the confusions you ran into, please let us take a minute to clear those up for you.
When you first contacted us, you were talking about getting rent reporting set up for you in the same message as cancellation. We thought you wanted help setting it up before deciding on cancellation. As soon as you made it clear you just wanted to end your plan instead, we ended your plan and refunded your payments.
A second payment was taken at the start of February because you signed up at the end of January and changed your payment date to the start of the month. Our service is monthly, so we take payment monthly. As you asked to cancel within the first 14 days you were fully refunded for both payments as promised.
The issue with your account appearing open was purely a technical glitch, promptly fixed once identified, ensuring your account closure was visible. We closed it as soon as you asked us to.
We stand by our integrity, and we fiercely challenge your claim that we have lied in our replies. This is a completely false accusation.
Although you weren’t happy with our app or our service, we’re glad that we were able to resolve your issues and we wish you the best moving forwards.

How to cancel the plan????
I tried to change the bank account for recording rent payments - I followed the instructions several times and it has not changed. My account states it has recorded my rent payment for January but it couldn't have as I paid from a different account??
I have also tried to cancel the account after the above and even that is impossible!!! I have been on the internet and I am stuck in a loop. I am not really impressed. Can you tell me how to cancel?
I clicked 'Credit Builder Plan' then 'questions about your plan' then clicked 'tap here to cancel your plan' and it just takes me back to the begining.
