Superb service as ever
Superb service as ever. Have ordered many times from WW and their customer care has always been exemplary and this instance was no exception. On close inspection, one item in my order appeared faulty. I took photos and emailed the company to request a replacement. My email was answered that same afternoon and the replacement item arrived the following day. Really can't get better service than that! Well done WW. This is why I'm a loyal customer.

Müllentsorgung über deutsche Kunden ist klasse!
Jedesmal, wenn ich bestelle, liegen Unmengen von leeren Plastikhüllen dabei von Wolle, die ich nicht bestellt habe. In meinem letzten Paket waren insgesamt 8 große leeren Hüllen dabei, die ich entsorgen musste. Ich bin keine Müllabfuhr für dieses Unternehmen. Der Zoll ist wahnsinnig hoch, bei vergleichbaren Unternehmen in GB fallen keine Kosten an, habe dies versucht zu klären, es bestand jedoch kein Interesse. Offenbar sind wir Resteuropäer nicht wirklich wichtig...

Aufgrund strenger Größenbeschränkungen für Pakete in einige Länder müssen wir manche Bestellungen in Kartons mit den vorgeschriebenen Abmessungen versenden. Um das Garn während des Transports vor Feuchtigkeit zu schützen, legen unsere Mitarbeiter recycelbare Plastiktüten in die Kartons. Wir verstehen, dass dies auf den ersten Blick umständlich erscheinen mag, aber es war lediglich unser Ziel, Ihr Garn vor Beschädigungen zu schützen und sicherzustellen, dass Ihre Artikel in bestmöglichem Zustand bei Ihnen ankommen. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie die Menge an Plastik als zu viel empfunden haben. Wir werden dies prüfen und unseren Verpackungsprozess optimieren.
Bezüglich der Zollgebühren arbeiten wir an Möglichkeiten, den Prozess für unsere internationalen Kunden zu vereinfachen. Wir hoffen, Ihnen in Zukunft eine Lösung anbieten zu können; einen genauen Zeitrahmen können wir Ihnen jedoch noch nicht nennen.

To protect the yarn from moisture during transit, our staff places recyclable plastic bags inside the boxes. We understand that this may seem inconvenient at first glance, but it was simply our intention to protect your yarn from damage and ensure that your items arrive in the best possible condition. We are sorry that you felt the amount of plastic was excessive. We will look into this and optimize our packaging process.
Regarding customs fees, we are working on ways to simplify the process for our international customers. We hope to offer a solution in the future; however, we cannot yet provide a specific timeframe.

Excellent company, superb customer service
After I received an order with missing items yesterday, I rang the company and spoke to lovely Liz who sorted the problem immediately and the missing items are on their way to me today. I have used Wool Warehouse for a few years now and have always been impressed by the range and quality of the yarns. Ordering is easy, delivery is swift, and now I know customer service is excellent.

Excellant service and speedy delivery.
I haven't done an online review before but wanted to share how impressed I am by the speed of the service provided by wool warehouse. I have ordered multiple times over the last few years and it is the only online shop which consistantly delivers and also has an excellant range.
Credit where credits due in this day and age where good customer service is a rare and beautiful thing.

Love the fabric remnant lucky dips
Love the fabric remnant lucky dips, I was surprised at what a decent size they are. Fantastic way to build a stash at low cost. Quick to dispatch, I only wish there were Royal Mail delivery options available so it would arrive quicker but maybe I’m just impatient 🤣 lovely service, thank you.

What can I say won’t have my custom again
Have had successful yarn orders all delivered reasonable time except the last order 26 Feb 2026
After a few days 3-5 no show gave it a week still no show reached out wait til the 9 th march now 15 th and 2 e mails recieved no customer response why are so many customer services so rubbish. It enrages me

We are sorry for any delays with the delivery of your recent order, it is not the service we aim to provide. Please accept our apologies.
Our Customer Service team is available Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm. As your emails were sent on Sunday evening while the department was closed, we were unable to respond until the next working day.
We originally gave the estimated delivery date of 9th March 2026, we did not receive a response from you until Friday 13th March 2026, which is when the customer service team offered to send you a replacement order or refund you in full.
As you confirmed in your most recent emails that you would prefer a refund, we have now issued a full refund back to your original payment method.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Have ordered several times now and while delivery isn't super super fast, y'all need to learn some patience its days not weeks.
Only slight issue I've had is that recent order of Yarnsmiths cotton aran in Bronze was lighter than on website. Still nice though.
Will not be my last order either

Great website, quick delivery
The website had everything I needed. I had been looking for a particular brand that was out of stock on another site, so I was really pleased to find it here. I think it’s great that you can choose the dye lot.
I chose standard delivery with Evri and considering I ordered late at night and there were 19 balls of wool, it arrived within 5 days. I didn’t hear anything after the order confirmation until it was dispatched two days later but it arrived quickly after that.
Everything was accurate and well packaged. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

fantastic delivery times
and for yarn addicts their filtering function is the best there is: filter by brand, yarn type, weight, colour, type . . ..
If you have a pattern in mind and know what sort of colour you'd like to use it's so satisfying to be able to filter by colour and yarn weight and instantly have all of their options gathered together in front of you!
If you're just browsing and spot yarns you love you can create wishlists so that it's easy to get back to them when you find the perfect pattern to suit.
It must have taken much thought and work to put so much functionality into the website, but it does everything that a customer could possibly want it to do.
I absolutely love Wool Warehouse :o)

Lovely experience with this company
Lovely experience with this company. Chose Royal mail 24 shipping and it arrived fast. Yarn is good quality and as a newbie knitter I really appreciate the recommendation on which needle size to use. The organza bag that my yarn got sent in is super useful for storage of both yarn and knitting project. Will buy from them again.
