Perfect product - bad customer service

The product I received is genuine, well-packaged and exactly what I was looking for at a great price. However, the customer service I experienced lacked completely and the shipping information I received was misleading.

Instead of with DHL the shipment arrived with local mail and was dispatched from USA to Germany and then to my country - in total it took 4 weeks to receive it.

Update after making a BBB complaint company responded immediately. Said denied return and provided pictures of a damaged watch. Somehow the watch my 75 year old mom tried in for 20 seconds and reboxed showed pictures of a watch that was worn at a construction site.. If u gamble with this company and think you can retutn be warnednyou will be scammed out your money.. Anything over $100 you are playing high risk poker with this company

No Customer Service; if you receive a lemon good luck.

Never had an issue until they shipped a watch that was missing the bezel ring insert (diver's watch). It wasn't in the packaging and seems to have never been installed. Obvious issue with the watch manufacturer. Should be simple - return for a new one. Will not answer numerous e-mails and calls will tell you to contact customer service via e-mail and hang up on you. Been dealing with this issue for am month, but nothing.

Thanks to this original post, WoW finally sent me an e-mail verifying a replacement was being sent.
Good try Wow, I appreciate the replacement, but it would have been great if it wasn't inoperable. When I received the replacement, the screw down crown was on so tight that I had to cover the crown with a thick rubber to avoid scratches and carefully use plyers to loosen. The watch was not working. So I replaced the battery (Energizer), it worked for a few seconds and the second hand stopped after a little bit and began twitching. Too make sure, I opened a brand new pack of batteries (Renata) and tried one of those, same result. It at least had the bezel inset missing from my first watch, so I simply switched the guts from my working watch to the case of this one and finally had a whole watch. Basically, WoW sent me a parts watch which I was able to use to fix my original watch. I think I got lucky because they didn't ask for the old one back, which I had to use to make a whole working watch. Over the years I had purchased tons of watches (maybe 50-100+) from WoW with no issues, plenty of Seikos, Invictas, Swiss Legends, Redlines and others brands as gifts for family members and friends and would regularly point co-workers to WoW when they wanted to buy watches for themselves or family. Actually had my eye on a Luminox Navy Seal and an Omega Seamaster but wanted to wait until I received five Stuhrlings I had purchased from them ( I received them and they are great). This was the first issue I've had, and it was enough to now have me looking elsewhere to shop for watches. The auto hang-ups from the only phone number available and no reply's from numerous e-mails is a sign of bad customer service, which is something I'm not willing to deal with when I start looking into more expensive time pieces. It took this post to have anything happen and I was sent an inoperable watch as a replacement. This whole ordeal was on a $40-$60 watch I got on sale - I can't imagine if it was a $2,500 Omega Seamaster. I got that Luminox, but from somewhere else I know has a decent return policy and customer service that will answer you.
Goodbye World of Watches, the past 14 years have been great.

Update: 04/01/2024
Decided to give WoW another chance - mainly because of a coupon code I received in an e-mail for a Luminox that was already on sale. Just received it and it is awesome. I think in order to change the rating I'd have to have an interaction with customer service. There was one watch I had received that I wanted to return because it's too small (Stuhrling Men's Aquadiver), because the web site was inaccurate about the case diameter - says it's 46mm but only measures 39mm-40mm making it much too small for me. I think they sent me a women's watch. I'll post another update after this interaction.

Update: I don't even know:
So I sent that Stuhrling Men's Aquadiver back, since it was mis-advertised as a 46mm and measured only 40mm. I wanted either my money back for false advertising or the 46mm model (if it existed). They simply serviced the watch and returned it. Guess they didn't take it back because it magically had scratches on the case back and scratches here and there and for the life of me I can't think of where they came from except storing them with other watches in a bin, I don't know. They told me it was out of the return window and would give me store credit but they returned it instead. However; I did have an issue with another Stuhrling I got in that last batch, the second hand stopped working and just twitched around the 35 second mark. I replaced the battery and it still got stuck around the 35 second mark. Returned it to WOW and they fixed it by reseating the second hand and sent it back. So they reneged on taking back the first Stuhrling but was able to fix the second one. Either way, the The Luminox and batch of Stuhrlings I bought a few months back will be the last I buy from them. I've purchased another 5 Luminox watches since elsewhere, some Citizen Eco-Drives, Seiko autos, Invicta quartz and autos, an Omega, a few off-brands with Seiko and Citizen movements, etc. And to be honest, I've had shipping issues with one, another (automatic) that's not auto winding, an Invicta quartz with the second hand twitch - so not all places are perfect, but it's how they handle the issue that makes them way more pleasant to deal with.

Two (2) delivered, one (1) still missing!

In the past I have always given a four (4) or five (5) Star review. I gave a three (3) this time because I ordered 3 watches from your Valentine's Day sale, but only two were delivered.
I do realize that this may in fact be a postal problem, so I waited 5-6 days before submitting report to Customer Service. Now I'll wait for resolution. Thank You

I purchased a watch

I purchased a watch, and the next day, I realized there was wrong info listed for it. I canceled the order for how to do so on their website. Weeks later, they sent the watch with a follow-up email that cancelations are not a sure thing. Then, they wanted to charge a restocking fee with me paying the return shipping. I contacted PayPal, and they reimbursed my money, with the company paying for the return shipping. Scam
This in reply to their comment. They stated in an email they sent to me on March 1st, after I contacted them about the issue, that their company was closed when I sent the cancellation request. Therefore didn’t read the cancellation email. As I stated to them before, they should have corrected the issue as it was their fault. Again, scam.
