Fantastic workmanship; impressive packaging; awesome customer service.

My husband has long admired the WT Author watch collections so he was absolutely delighted to receive a green 1968 Racer automatic for his birthday.
He loves his watch. It is stunning with its unique styling and details. The beautifully handcrafted leather strap and the very handsome steel alternative strap also ordered, the sound of the mechanism, the packaging and presentation and the fact that his watch is one of a limited edition built by this British company makes for a very special wristwatch.
My husband is over the moon to finally own a WT Author watch but this hasn't stopped him mentioning how much he also likes the grey 1982 Squadron!

I have just received two watches 1973 and 1940 and I am absolutely delighted with build quality and looks of them , but I would add the whole experience of getting the watches was brilliant , I had a chat with Jon for over 30 minutes where we talked about the watches and described what involved before going with the ones I chose, Sarah was great sorting out the invoices and delivery and there is an superb instructions/how to on their web site telling things like how to change the strap , set the time etc.

Having met the WT author gents at a couple of shows I decided to pull the trigger on a 1940 blue Pegasus pilots watch. Whilst the website does a good job of portraying the design (and their Instagram page follows up with reassuring pictures of the team working on aspects of its build) once in the hand the watch has more to tell as the design delights in offering something new to the wearer every time you put it on, be it the chapter ring or the concise mimicry of ww2 pilot watch numeral 'fonts' or perhaps even the lume. The case can be enjoyed at different angles with familiar elements of design echoing cockpit instruments that have been completely reworked for a modern take that fit the brand's image. I absolutely believe it to be an icon for the brand, it's extremely legible and feels very robust and is a charm to wear.

We can't praise WT Author enough, the quality of the watches, the compassion and love they put into each order to make it special! We chose a 1929 automatic in black for my son's 21st Birthday and they were able to deliver the limited edition number 21, to make it an even more special present. Excellent presentation, great attention to detail.
The watch it’s self looks is great quality yet looks robust for everyday encounters.
Detailing is great. The spin bezel sounds quite clunky as it’s rotated which sounds great.
For the price I feel it’s great value for money.
I will definitely look to purchase another watch in the future.

No 1968 Black Racer looks fantastic; love the contrasting colour combination of "Pepsi" bezel, black dial, sub-dial and hands.
Watch with black leather rally strap feels good on the wrist.

These guys are not only talented and know what they are doing, with each piece you buy a unique piece of art. Their concept follows through into the smallest details. A great watch for a small price. 100% trustworthy. Excited to see what they will come up again with their next collection.

Well, What can I say that hasn’t already been praised in their latest reviews. I first met Jon & Sam at Silverstone Classic a few years ago and was completely drawn to the watches on display. After chatting with the two of them for a while about the vision and the work that had gone into launching their company I was 100% ready to buy. Bought one there and then. Came back a year later. Bought another. And as soon as I saw the No.1973 coming out on Kickstarter I knew I had to have it. I’d been telling myself for ages that the next one needed to be an automatic; and it looked fantastic. The guys are brilliant at explaining the process behind it all, the attention to detail is phenomenal. They genuinely feel like generational pieces that you want to hold onto and then pass down to your kids later on. I love them. Even the packaging is next level. Honestly, if you buy one you won’t be disappointed. And if you don’t. You will be. There’s always a limited amount which makes them so much more special and personal to yourself. Looking forward to seeing what else they can come up with!!

My husband has 3 watches from WT Author, and we have just ordered a 4th. He loves the watches, which all look amazing and often draw complements. We love the fact they are handmade, unusual, and numbered.

We have always had great service from Sam and Jon, we make a point of visiting their stand at Silverstone Classic. I love their care and attention to detail not only are the watches gorgeous they always arrive beautifully packaged.

We are looking forward to the next watch arriving and would not be surprised if we end up buying more in the future.

You can tell these guys really love what they do and put their heart and soul into these watches. I've been a patron since their first series, and recently needed a replacement battery and strap repair which was done quickly and to a high standard. Lovely guys and lovely watches!
