001 Taxis Avis

I use 001 when I go to Oxford which is usually monthly. They have proved reliable and the pricing is both honest and transparent. Drivers are usually chatty and I find ideal to chat about current topics. Only gripe would be the app isn't always cooperative or that accurate re pick up. However the app does make the money side easy and you can print receipts if you're having to do expense claims. All in all seem a good firm and I would recommend them.

Unreliable. Poor customer service. I have been badly let down by them

The driver was waiting for me even a few minutes of the time I booked the taxi. He was diligent and respectful.

Driver was very poltite . Punctual and friendly

Driver prompt and efficient

Taxi arrived on time and took me to my destination by the most direct route .

They are not overcharged, drivers are polite and friendly

The gps tracking system is ALWAYS inaccurate. For example, it tells you your taxi is still 10mins away, when it is already waiting for you at your door!! Sometimes also it cancels your booking without warning, after you have already been told your cab is on its way, and you have already been waiting for up to8-10 mins!!!

Great service, lovely driver, short waiting time and a very reasonable price. Thank you

Driver on time, very clean car, comfortable journey and the driver was very pleasant and helpful.

I love supporting local businesses, but being local is not an excuse for complacency. I prebooked a 001 taxi to take me to the station, only for the allocated car to arrive around 30 minutes late. When I called to check, I was told it was “rush hour with lots of school traffic” — an explanation that did nothing to address my prebooking or my need to catch a train.

There was no apology and no concern for letting me down. Uber arrived in under ten minutes. Sadly, in Oxfordshire it seems you’re better off using Uber than relying on the local unreliable 001 Taxis. Supporting local businesses should not mean accepting poor service.

Unreliable.
We had booked a taxi for a hospital appointment and the taxi failed to arrive, despite us receiving a text to say it had arrived! When we texted back to ask where it was we received no answer. The company was good at sending a replacement when we phoned but it meant a late arrival at the hospital.

Picked my elderly mum up
Extremely helpful and friendly

Jess was very friendly and a very good driver

On time. Kept updated about the arrival of the taxi and had a smooth journey with a polite driver.

Very clean and comfortable car, on time and very polite and friendly driver.

What more could you ask?

Lower prices, oh they did that as well!

Drivers are always polite and friendly when I use the APP. It's made me settling into a new city easier to nevigate and find out useful information.

On time and friendly. Nothing to say bad about the service. Thank you 001 Taxis.
