Mathais and his crew did a wonderful job. They worked very hard all day to get the job done. Mathais also went above and beyond by fixing a couple of things that that needed fixing. Nothing to do with the move. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone needing to move furniture and boxes. Very professional with a cheery disposition all day despite the heat. "It's pretty traumatic moving after 30 years in the family home, and the work involved in downsizing alone take up a good deal of the time, post sale.
I hit the web and came up with three potential Removalist, of which AAA City Removalists were the fairest quote. They offered plenty of good advice and worked through all my concerns. They are a professional group, who gets the issues and concerns of their Customers'
From sorting out the boxes needed, to pre-packing the last remnants of our belonging and the final move, the two men were fantastic.

During the pre removal discussion I was asked to ‘trust the removalists; they do it every day and are professionals.’ So I did - which was very good advice. On what could have been a very stressful day, all ran smoothly.

I have engaged the service from AAA removalist to help me move from Hornsby yo Box Hill. I was very lucky that Roni and Jon was from AAA removalist. They were both very experienced and know which area to begin so the truck space is fully optimised. Both Roni and Jon took extra care on all the delicate items and before even seeing my next place they will ask the stairs how the passage like and they will plan accordingly. Once we we at the place they even assist in putting vthe bed frame back together. They even went above and beyond to help reinstall both washing machine and dryer. The placement of the washing machine could not fit the pipe (Bosch Pipe connector is bigger than standard) and they both improvise with what tools available to help get the connector through the cabinet. Roni even carry spare parts in the truck to ensure the connection pipe is properly seal.
For what I have experience, I highly recommend this two gentlemen Roni and Jon. Big Thank You to Roni and Jon.

Very disappointed with the service.
Quoted $588, locked in a price for $799.11, but actually paid $1202.50.
While the two guys were nice enough, they were 1hr late, extremely slow and could not fit everything in the truck for a two bedroom apartment. They seemed inexperienced as they broke a door off and chipped a cabinet, cracked the back of a sideboard, knocked over 3 bookcases and one landed on my partner. Definitely not the best removal service I have used.

Amazing service from Fabio and Frank from truck 00. Called 30 min before arriving to let me know and arrived on time. Very efficient in moving, it was much quicker than expected they even assisted in moving some furniture already in the new home. Highly recommended

Posting this review late because of safety concerns.

After complaining and leaving reviews, the phone call I received instead of an apology started with "I know who you are, I know where you studied, I know what you do" and was then threatened with a defamation lawsuit for a negative review.

The movers scratched walls and floorboards and a bubble-wrapped mirror frame. When installing a dryer, they tried to bang and smash it into place instead of lifting it as instructed, which bent one of the dryer's legs.
When we let the company know of the damage, the removalists threatened to leave with our belongings in the truck and handed us the phone to lie to their supervisor that there was no damage.

After they left we complained once again, but never heard back. I only heard back once I left multiple reviews, which ended with the phone call mentioned above as well as a discussion involving threats of legal action and telling me they had researched me personally. When that didn't work, offered to have a talk with the removalists on the condition that the reviews are removed. In their last communication to me, they offered us $250 on the condition that they don't admit any fault and we can't share our experience and leave any reviews.

It feels like intimidation and bribery is their way to skew online reviews as some reviews mentioned similar thing happened to them.

A 2-bed (no sofa or dining furniture) move 6mins away took them 9 hours (paid $1568). We moved many times across Sydney and this is by far the longest move we had. We recently moved with more furniture and an hour away with the move taking under 6. They didn't connect appliances or assembled furniture and we had the dining set and sofa delivered to new address, so it was very light for 2-bed apartment. Our original quote was $588.

The bubble wrap insurance was voided because the removalists had left without unwrapping and checking the wrapped furniture. Very incompetent.

Please read the reviews carefully before you book, be cautious, get a support person who can help you if things go south and carefully record everything because you might need it. Also, don't forget to read your contract and be aware of the extra fees.

A huge thank-you to Roni and Jon on truck 11. Superb service once again. Friendly, professional, punctual and a pleasure to deal with. Another stress-free move - thanks again Roni and Jon!
