Small CPA with two offices. Payroll relief and accounting are very good. Strong support. Nimble product. Payroll profitability way up. QB is looking to replace the accountant and CPA, while offering weak support. This is GREAT alternative!

Their accounting software, AccountingPower, is buggy. The product is poorly supported. Bank reconciliations become unreconciled, software allows broken journal entries to occur, software allows you to make a journal entry where debits don't equal credits, reporting is limited. There are some good features, but they are over-powered by the bad.

We have had an issue with W2s not calculating correctly for over two weeks now. Support finally returned my phone call today to let me know it was fixed, which it was not. I left a message for the supervisor this morning and am still waiting on a return phone call. I now have to prepare the W2s/W3s in another program instead of wasting anymore time on the "support team." Our firm will be searching for a new payroll software this year.

My honest opinion is the software is probably the best out there; however, the cost is astronomical, the customer service is unbelievably poor, and the procedure to discontinue use of the software is difficult to navigate as well as totally misleading. We went back to our old payroll provider for these reasons; however, no one tells you that you ALSO have to make each client inactive! WHAT? I sent an email indicating that we intended to discontinue the service. We did not receive any confirmation of same and NO ONE said hey by the way, be sure to make your clients inactive. I TOTALLY believe that is by design because we just got billed for each client - even though we had not run a payroll! Then when I asked about the bill someone said you have to make them inactive...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! When I asked them to credit the charge.....guess what....NO ONE has replied yet. It figures because we had that same experience when we were paying $ 15000.00 per year for the software.

I am a 30 year CPA and have never seen anything like this!

They failed miserably and can't even bother to respond!

Have been using Payroll Relief for 10 years, the program is dependable, cost efficient and handles both small and large payrolls very well. We are very happy with the product, grateful for all of the tools and functions and recommend the program to anyone looking for a payroll solution.

I have used Accountant's World in one form or another since 1991. At the present time I am enrolled with Payroll Relief. I find the support very dependable and reasonably prompt. To me, in addition to the accuracy and consistency of the program, the support is extremely important, and I have found that I can rely on Tax Relief.

I was slightly apprehensive about using Accountants World Payroll Relief because I did not know anything about this company. We have been on their platform for about a year and are very happy with Payroll Relief. We currently run about 120 clients (about 10 employees each) in a couple of hours. We have improved customer service and are able to provide clients with real time reports in a matter of a few clicks. Our client's employees love using the App to view pay stubs , etc. Cindy O'Dell, my customer success representative is very resourceful, courteous and professional. Give them a try.

My real star rating would be a 4.5, meaning I don't think they deserve a perfect 5 but they definitely don't deserve a 4. This company is GREAT. Do they have their flaws? Sure, and while every company will have flaws, as far as I'm concerned, I cannot find another company that gives me what this company gives as far as value, support, and a relationship such as a partnership. What I mean by partnership, but unlike every other software company out there, they will NEVER sell to a customer. I like how all of their platforms (payroll, bookkeeping, cloud storage) are all integrated and work together to solve those problems if you're doing these additional services. The company is great.
