The company is a scam that works out of the Philippines. They try to hook you into a service charging $295.00 per month after the trial. If you do not cancel the trial you are on the hook for full payment. Quality of companies is low and should not be looking for advisors with out a compensatation structure and statement of work for the advisor.

Excellent customer service - fast, courteous, and effective!

This “service” has been a huge disappointment and waste of time and money. I’ve been on a few boards in the past and currently serve on 2.. Not counting Advisory Cloud “boards.” I could see a tiny bit of value if you need to pad your resume with board experience… or you know 0 about business and want to dip your feet and peek in at the chaos that start ups are. I’ve been on both sides.. Founding startups… w 1.5 exists (the 0.5 was a merger, the 1 was a NASDAQ listing.. 10 hard years of work to get there)... as well as investing as an angel in multiple companies… so I’ve been around the block. I did this b/c I wanted to get on one more board…. But there’s a serious quality issue here. The companies really are not ready for prime time… I was super unimpressed with Advisory Cloud’s stable of start ups… the entrepreneurs are genuine… just mostly naive. Many of the advisors dispensing advice have no clue… never founding, running or being part of a start up… yet willing to pontificate. One of the reasons to be on a board is to surround yourself with other smart - insightful people - not corporate yes people or people trying to sell crap services to these naive startups….that seemed to be 80% of the advisors. What’s most annoying is as an advisor you are not valued by the platform or the companies. no one talks about giving advisor options: never serve on a board without being compensated with at least some options… not b/c you’re greedy, but b/c if you are adding value, the company should see and value that out of respect. These start ups are looking for free advice…. So anyone willing to spend their time dispensing free advice must not have much value to add. Lastly… What's most offensive about this company is all the fake reviews… It's sad and I’m kicking myself for not doing my due diligence.. Read all the TrustPilot reviews… people gushing about how great the onboarding call was. Who cares about onboarding calls… the question is, is the service worth your time: no.

I really appreciate connecting with a real person and being walked through the onboarding process. This opportunity lines well with my goal of developing my business skills and helping businesses get to the next level.

John was great. He took his time while I tried to learn the system and conferencing programs as best as I could. By the end of our session I had decided which boards to join and which Advisory Cloud plan I wanted. He called me up a couple of hours before our scheduled appointment and was nice enough to fit me into his schedule as I happened to be free at that time.. Great job!

I never signed up with these criminals but they sure took $195.00 from my account. Stay clear.

Edina Aliposo walked me through the advisory cloud platform and its usage. She also answered some of my questions about how to effectively use the site. She had also pre-selected a few matching boards that were relevant to me based upon my experience and profile.
