Insurance for cancer they were fabulous they are very patient with you got insurance and would recommend them to everyone with cancer

Was simple and quick and a brilliant price for travel insurance with medical conditions would recommend people try them

Simple easy use of site , looked at other sites , and they just rip off people that have an illness , my doctor said he sees no reason for me to have a holiday , so why do many insurance companies charge exorbitant rates , thanks Albert and Eddie , I've recommended you already , thanks again Graham Ryan

In November 2025 I renewed our annual joint travel insurance with this company, as we had booked a Christmas cruise that departed on 19th December 2025.On the 1st December my wife was admitted to hospital with a bad cough, she was discharged after four nights in prefect health and an appointment in late January for a follow-up.Doctors advised that she was fit to travel.As required I tried to notify Albert & Eddie but noticed that no policy was attached to my name on their customer portal,so I therefore notified the parent company,(Collinsons),directly.I won't bore you with the details but ultimately they withdrew cover on my wife three days before the cruise departed, took three months to compensate us for the cancellation,(despite their own medical team ADVISING US TO CANCEL),and generally the whole thing being a total shambles.As if to add insult to injury, I contacted Albert & Eddie to find out if the policy still covered me,(their portal still doesn't show any policy attached to my name),whereupon I get a reply stating that my wife is no longer covered,(nothing about me),and no refund is due because the policy has been claimed upon. In other words, an annual policy is not an annual policy...should they withdraw cover at the last minute for one person, apparently the policy no longer covers the other, and if you make a claim as they themselves advised the policy is cancelled.So not an annual policy at all, and also professional medical opinion means nothing, they will withdraw cover at the drop of a hat.So for all these reasons,(plus the dreadful customer service from their parent company Collinsons,which I have reviewed separately),I cannot recommend them.And I'll make one further comment: I initially chose Albert & Eddie/Holidaysafe because they seemed to be very good value for covering an existing incurable medical condition.It seems you get what you pay for...

Although I needed to input quite a bit of information, the website was easy to navigate. It was worth the effort though, as the quotes I received were far lower than going directly to the individusl websites

I did not have to use the travel insurance whilst I was away, when I filled the application form in I didn't have any problems, not like other insurance companies.

Simple to understand

Along winded Form but worth the effort if you have various medical issues as they do ask a lot of info. You can always call them if you have an issue completing the Form. Prices are competitve time will tell regarding their claim service, hopefully not required.

A company that will cover someone who has had cancer, but not at the exorbitant rate other companies, want to charge, even if they will cover you at all. I haven't had to make a claim, so unable to comment on that. The online questions were clear to anwser.

Though I didn't need to make a claim, I found the on-line application very easy to complete and this reduced much of the stress of the application. The cost was very reasonable despite our medical needs.
