I like using Alterme

I like using Alterme, I was initially just interested in the DNA test. I ordered the DNA test and then had an advisor call to go over it. The genetic breakdown was interesting (especially the carb sensitivity and recovery markers), and he tied it into how the ring tracks sleep and daily strain. I was already committed to purchasing the full system but the call with the advisor shifted toward upgrading, which felt a little intense. But overall the explanation of how the wearable data connects to my genetics was actually helpful.

2 years & going strong!

I have been using alter me for about two years now and it has changed my fitness game to make it more sustainable. It doesn't pressure you to wear yourself out and actually encourages you to take work in days when you don't sleep good,etc. it has helped me be able to make an easy fitness plan especially while being a mom of two. I love that I can do workouts at home that are effective and I can also track my workouts at the gym. The ring has been so nice for me to be able to track my steps and sleep. I have loved alter me and everything that comes with my fitness plan. It's easy to track food too which has helped me lose weight! I recommend it to everyone. Especially my mama friends!

Scam- no dna results

Their dna test didn't show scoliosis, arthritis, or depression and diabetes from both sides of the family. For all that money, it said you can lose weight doing cardio. Who said anyone wanted to lose weight?

Total rip-off. Don't waste your money.

I've been a customer of Alter for nearly two years. I haven't had many service issues, but I recently lost my signal and needed a replacement. The customer service experience was fast, warm, knowledgeable, and the resolution was fantastic. You don't see this level of service very often. Nice work Team!

Purchased the ring and it never works…

Purchased the ring and it never works correctly. Response was "this is due to an outage with one of our connected services. Your readiness score, daily recommendations, historical stats, or other biometric insights may be delayed." I requested a refund a week later and was told I had to pay $99 for restock fee and $899 for DNA analysis which is confusing if I didnt sign up its the $27.99 I originally paid but since I signed up the report is now $899. Its just a scam uses AI for meals and workouts which you can do yourself. Ring doesnt track correct sleep and workouts.

DNA+ is part of the AlterMe program and is a significantly more advanced health and wellness report (approximately 70 pages) with a listed value of $899. We understand how the pricing difference could be confusing, and we regret that this was not clearer during your experience.

I was stupid and fell for the BS

I was stupid and fell for the BS. After about a week I realized what I did and wanted to return the ring and end the subscription. The ring cost $99, well to return it is a $99 restocking fee. FOR WHAT?? Don’t fall for it. The ring is bulky so if you lift heavy, it’ll pinch and rip skin. The monthly “subscription “ is $59 with a huge interest rate, and the ring is $99. The DNA results didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. This really isn’t worth anything. You can do your own research on Google and get the same results.

Just ridiculous

Just ridiculous. Does NOT take 7-10 days for results. I'm at day 30 and they are now expecting me to talk to someone for 30 minutes about my "result". I just want the results I PAID FOR. BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!

Just avoid this company!!

After ordering fitness DNA analysis, they constantly sent intrusive texts. Once I was informed my results were ready, they did not provide them, but required I set a 30-minute appointment for a phone call with on of their “fitness experts,” who is certainly someone who is going to try to upsell me on something else. I just want my results, which they are holding hostage until I speak with one of their salespeople. I am furious. I suspect I will need to get my credit card replaced because I have a feeling they’ll sign me up for something (without my consent) and charge me more. To be polite, this company lacks transparency, to say the least. I wish I had avoided them entirely.

Worst experience !

Worst experience dealing with this company!
I would strongly urge anyone not to participate in any of this company offers.
I purchased a 'Ring" which monitors your sleep progress . In addition, I was told that I must purchase a monthly subscription (which I later learned in my correspondences is a payment plan pay off the ring?? I was told by their rep that all I had to pay was a $100.00 and the additional cost could be cancelled at any time. Ok fine. However after wearing the ring, I ended up with a rash from it and I could no longer wear it. When I sent an email to the customer service dept. stating both 1) I had a bad reaction from the ring 2) I was told I could send the ring back and cancel any months payments.
I was told that I was not allowed to cancel any payments, even after telling them I could no longer wear the ring due to adverse reaction.
After some back and forth, I was told in an email that I could contact them and "they would be happy to assist with the next steps for closing my account". HOWEVER after contacting them the next day to request the next steps to close the account - It was suddenly no longer an option and the "best we can do is offer a $400.00 but I would still be responsible for paying off the remaining balance of the ring payment plan. Again after responding to them asking for the option to close out my account, they responded with a generic statement about how they are here to help me. I have never experience such a difficult and unorganized company.
But clearly this is a company that does not care about their customers or about the health of their customers. I am utterly disgusted with them and will now need to contact my bank to deal with it.

DONT GET IT!! Terrible Customer Service!

DONT GET IT! I signed up to do the program. I got the ring and it was bulky and sometimes glitchy. While I liked the original dna report, the tips and content were not anything unique. You can get better exercises on other cheaper sites. And you have to commit to 3 years! They told me I had 30 days to return. I’ve been waiting for weeks and still haven’t gotten processing forms. And then got an alert they are going charge me again. I keep messaging them and no response. If they do charge me, I promise they will see legal action!
