Alton Garden Centre Avis 

Always found you very good. Even the boss stopped putting up Xmas decorations to cut up a bit of bubble wrap for me. Staff very courteous led by example from the top.

On a recent visit we wanted some shrubs for our garden, the guy in the hut outside was so helpful and explained all about the shrubs, where to grow them in the garden and suggested other shrubs that would grown nicely with them. He spent a lot of time with us and was so helpful. We will go back to him for advice when we need more plants. We have bought garden table and chairs, a water fountain and plants from Altons this year, I believe in supporting our local businesses. I love the garden centre, the staff are helpful and friendly in this very difficult times. I’m looking forward to visiting the Christmas display.

The cafe was closed ! It's open at Summerhills, Riverside and Morleys. Why isn't it open at Altons ?

Came in for a coffee- no coffee shop. No notice to advise you had closed it for the duration. Poor show.

Love going to Altons at all times, I find all the staff very friendly and helpful. You can always find something new or something different.

Covers for Canilever Umbrella and 3-seater Garden Swing
Around 10 years ago I purchased a rattan patio set from Altons and it came with a huge canilever umbrella. Over these years the weather has taken its toll over the cover it came with and after trying to replace it from other sources and failing miserably, I went back to Altons and hey, they got me a much better quality one for just a few pounds more.
The same happened to my Garden Swing cover so I headed straight back to Altons after my previous experience they ordered me one at a great price.
The customer experience with them was so good, why on earth I originally tried to save a few pounds, went elsewhere and was so disappointed with the quality, I really don't know. Well, lesson learnt, everyone you come into contact with at Altons is so knowledgable and attentive, highly recommended.

Too many types of merchandise it has expanded so much there were hardly any plants to buy, which was the reason I was there and other gardening areas had fewer choices too. Very disappointing and I haven’t been back since ( about six months ). Also in the spring lockdown I joined Altons e mail group and have had zero response.

A lovely guarden centre with very friendly staff and nice good and value for money

During lockdown, Alton's staff went over and beyond to ensure customers received items for their gardens etc. Nothing was too much trouble and delivered promptly

Great place top quality, shame restaurant was closed .we now use other garden centres that have restaurant facilities .
Checkout was not as friendly as other garden centres.

A well organised visit, felt totally safe and the staff were very helpful and polite. Lovely garden centre, with lots of lovely plants and gifts. Well worth a visit.
