We have recently moved to The Brambles in Peterborough.
From the beginning of the process to the actual day of signing the tenancy has been a highly positive experience.
Penny has been supportive helpful and knowledgeable in all aspects of moving home to a community environment. Penny,Jenny and Dean ,security personnel made the transition from a home my mum had lived in for 30 years to a move to the The Brambles run smoothly with emphasis on care compassion and safety.
Our apartment fulfils all my mums needs especially the bathroom area. Within 2 days moving in my mum ,on her own volition was able to shower independently. This was a big step for her as she had not felt safe at our last place.
We both feel comfortable, safe and content here .
Location is great with shopping centre so close by.
Facilities in the Brambles include communal areas where friends and family can drop by for tea and coffee.
Beautiful landscaped gardens with tables chairs and benches to sit at to enjoy the ambience.
There is also a large library for use by all.Some of my late dad's books are in the library which is a sense of part of home here.
Penny and Jenny have been complimented by Furniture traders for being friendly open and helpful .

Penny is so approachable goes above and beyond nothing is to much trouble very approachable, very very happy with the flat and the amenities that are available, close to shops so perfect location

Don't get too excited though. They put it up at the front of the property , instead of at the back . The incompetence is epic.

Anchor's running of their Barringers Court branch has been an absolute disgrace. Idly sitting by allowing their residents to be verbally abused and physically threatened by under age people illegally staying in flats on the premises. Staff regularly do not show up to do their duties, and complaints go into a vacuum and are not acted on, leaving their residents fearing for their safety
Would like to let anyone thinking of living in sheltered housing Anchor Hanover , not to expect any help with anti-socisl behaviour. There is a failure to manage anti-socisl behaviour. Personal experience

Very straightforward process of registering our interest, and accepted the 3 years waiting list for the property and location we wanted.
When a flat became available, again very straightforward process of achieving the flat.
Fantastic location manager - Joolz -and absolutely love living here.
Incredible efficiently run place, great neighbours and value for money with no tenancy issues, as it is ours for as long as we want and not subject to the vagaries of private landlords.

In 2006, a retiring CIA DIrector gave his pithy advice to the graduating class of students, heading out into 2006 America. “Admit nothing, deny everything, and make counter-accusations.” .... Sound familiar to Anchor residents?
My experience with anchor was a good experience from going on. Their waiting list to getting a property. And the manager dealing with are moving in was very good

Danielle and Charlotte are simply wonderful. The whole experience from the first call inviting me to look at an empty property, through the signing and moving in, up to these first few weeks, has been so pleasantly easy. I love living here and these two ladies have made it so good. They are both professional, friendly, accommodating and assured. No question seems too difficult for them to answer, nor too ridiculous for them not to action in the same manner. They are open and honest, dependable and always smiling.
I've just retired from work and for the last fourteen years have carried out an identical role to them, albeit where people buy on lease, not rent. I fully appreciate the demands they experience, the number of residents to manage, the scope of the building management and the standards and workload set by Anchor. They really do shine and I am personally very impressed with them.
Danielle and Charlotte are a great credit to themselves and a great advertisement for Anchor.

I have joined the social club and help out in the garden. Lisa our cleaner is nice keeps everything spotless and helps out the elderly residents. 😊

From being offered a property, filling in the forms, being kept informed on each stage of our move, info we need, feed back we have given and responsive replies we have got, has made our adjustments to a different property a lot easier that we had thought it might be. Marie has been a star, very helpful, answered our queries, and has been an excellent Manager to us.
